You know, because I have to learn all this stuff on my own and it took me a long time to really really really get out there, because you know my business is still growing, I'm still small and business, I'm still growing it and I'm still trying to Get it to reach it to this full potential, so hopefully this will bring you guys step forward to where you're trying to be and or start you guys up to get to where you want to be yet so enjoy the video. Thank you guys, okay, so the first topic that I'd like to discuss is raw, hair and version. Here I get asked the question all the time: what's the difference between raw hair and virgin hair? So really there is so many differences between the two but there's two main differences and I feel, like everyone needs to know like if you're starting out a hair business or if you're, purchasing hair. If you already have a hair business, it's very important to know the difference between raw hamburger. Here are the two main differences and the two many differences are raw. Hair is sourced from a single donor. They only use one person for that bundle for that front tool, etc. Only one person was used virgin hair will be multiple donors, so they combine person a person BCD all together and they make that bundle frontal wig, whatever the other difference is raw hair is natural. So they don't steam it or they don't chemically, wash it for its texture. It'S all just in its natural state, whereas version here is usually chemically washed or either it's steamed for a texture. Usually raw hair comes from India and Southeast Asia, virgin hair is usually sourced from China, anything wrong with selling and buying virgin hair. It'S just that virgin hair doesn't last as long as raw hair, and that is the truth. Raw hair will last you longer because it has no chemicals in it. There was no alteration to the texture. It just came in as natural state virgin hair has been steamed and Kim or either chemically alters. So it's not going to last as long raw hair can staying a bleach process. It can go to the lightest lightest blonde 6:13 without causing any damage, and that is when it's dyed professionally. Even if you die your natural hair, it has to be dyed professionally or bleached professionally. In order for it to not be damaged version. Hair is not gon na. Take a bleach process that well, it could get. Maybe a few wears out of it, but it's not gon na take a bleach process to well. That'S because it has been altered, the texture it was made. Okay, it wasn't, it didn't come in a natural texture. It was made. So it's very important to know this stuff before you buy hair, because I see hair as an investment. You know you'll find yourself spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars purchasing, hair, purchasing, new bundles purchasing new front tools and closures. I see it as an investment, so if you're gon na purchase hair, why not get the best hair if you're gon na sell hair and sell the best quality here? So that's just how I see it. Brazilian hair Malaysian hair Peruvian here all those different marketing tactics to steer people in when, in reality, it is usually the origin that they are from so like if this, if they're from China, that is usually Chinese hair, if they're from India, that is usually Indian hair. Now, third party, vendors or wholesalers will sometimes travel to countries like Southeast Asia or India and they'll collect the hair, but most of the time, 90 % of the time it is where they're from it is the origin of the hair comes from where they are from. So when you have a lot of vendors in China saying Brazilian hair, it is not true. Brazilian hair people in Brazil aren't cutting their hair off. 90 % of hair comes from India and Southeast Asia. Now in China, what they'll do is they'll cut Chinese hair and they'll steam it and chemically wash it like. I said previously, to get the texture and it's usually curly deep wave, kinky sri body wave all that now um if you're getting raw hair. The hair is a hundred percent in a natural state, so it's gon na be a wavy and it's or either it's gon na be a curly or a straight and it'll come from a single donor and they'll have that they'll have whatever here. You know if this wavy straight curly they'll have that texture and they don't need to steam it or chemically wash it for that texture. Now, if you really want to dig down into it, if you notice a lot of people in China, don't have that texture hair, whereas if you go to any or if you see Indian people, they actually do have that unique texture like wavy and curly Chinese people. Most of the time they just have straight hair, so it's very hard for them to sell, because most people like texture, they like wavy, they like curly, they love texture. They don't really like straight because it's kind of you know it's kind of boring. You know it's not really. You know we want like something fun yeah. We can't straighten the hair, but we want something fun. So what they do is they do go ahead and chemically wash it and they do steam it for texture. So in China is most likely gon na be for virgin hair and in India and Southeast Asia you're gon na find raw hair. Now I'm not saying that in China they don't supply raw hair, but it's very, very rare to find a bit of that does supply raw hair. So when you are asking your vendors questions, so please please, please ask them questions. Ask them where what is the origin of the hair, and they if they tell you that it's from Brazil, they are not telling the truth. If they tell you that it's Peruvian, they are not telling the truth, Indian, they are not telling the truth. That hair is Chinese, hair virgin hair that has been steamed or chemically altered to get a texture and they're, calling it something for marketing tactics. So I have some of my raw here here to show you guys, because I want you guys to know the difference and you can see it the difference in raw hair, like even if you look at it like if you really want to study here. Even if you look at it, you'll see the difference so with the raw hair. The bundles are not going to be uniform. Okay, because, like I said, raw hair is cut from a single donor, so this could have been person a, and this could have been person B. Both bundles are wavy, both hairs, weight and wavy texture, but they're not exactly the same okay, so you guys would look very closely. Okay, two bundles, not exactly the same they're sisters, not twins, okay, but if you purchase virgin hair, I don't have any version here me. Unfortunately, I don't sell virgin hair, I'm gon na sell raw hair, but if you purchase virgin hair you'll notice that all the bundles really look the same. So if you get a body wave, texture, it'll kind of look exactly the same, because they are steaming it and they're. Basically, they have to they kind of use, a comb or some type of tools to kind of get it to this texture. It'S currently they use something but they're steaming it or either chemically altering it to its texture. So ask them now, there's nothing wrong with selling virgin hair. I do not. I support anyone if you, if you're selling, virgin hair or even if you're, using like a Chinese vendor to get virgin hair, that is totally fine. But it's very important to ask these questions now if they are using chemicals to to get the hair to his texture. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. I recommend that you guys use someone who is steaming it, because if they are steaming it and it comes out a little bit better, the hair lasts a little bit longer yeah. So, if they're coming, if they're using chemicals, definitely want to recommend it and ask them ask these vendors, these questions ask them. What are you using to get the texture? What is the origin of the hair? Ask them these questions? Okay, nothing wrong with that at all and if they're not being honest with you, you can kind of tell when they're, not because they're kind of going the question. If they're, not being honest with you, definitely don't go with that vendor and this is, I wrote down a list of red flags and things to look out for when you are purchasing hair, because I had to go through so many trials and error I mean I Got the worst of the worst, I got some good quality hair, but it just ended up being bad in the long run like I just want to help you guys out some things that I learned along the way when I purchase hair. You know I definitely I did try to go with Chinese vendors, but I just couldn't really find anyone as trustworthy. Anyone who is reliable. Anyone who could always give me good quality, hair someone I can depend on so here are some red flags and here's some things to look out for when you are purchasing hair and when you are deciding on your vendor so, like I said before, if they tell You that the hair comes from Brazil if the hair is Peruvian, that is a red flag. Okay, we already discussed that that is a major red flag. Tell them. You know. I know you're lying. Tell me the truth. You know I've had to let people know. I'Ve had to really put it out there like your line. That is not the truth, and then they kind of blocked me or did something I don't know, but that is a major red flag. Okay, next one if the pair is extremely low. So if you have vendors telling you oh, I have $ 14 bundles. I have 20 $ 30 bundles. No, that is not gon na be good quality hair. It is probably gon na, be the worst quality hair so do not purchase it. Yes, cheap and I understand everyone may be on a budget, but it's gon na be a waste of money, whether you're buying hair, whether you just for yourself or whether you're selling hair, it's gon na, be a waste of an oven investment most likely that hair has Synthetic fibers in it and it is not gon na last you more than a week, you'll probably get a month, but it's not gon na last you, okay, next, is if the hair is pre colored. So if you have like those pink green red, wigs that are already pre colored, that hair most likely have synthetic fibers in it and you won't be able to tell - because it is colored, so do not go with someone now. If someone has a custom color link where you can actually send them in like oh, I want to have my wig color to a red. I want to have my wig color to a pink. That'S fine they're, just gon na take most likely a 6 13 or a 1 B colored wig and just color it for you. But if it's already pre colored and they're shipping it out, no don't go with them. Do not go with them. Okay, don't do it! I have to learn the hard way you guys, I'm telling you believe me if you want to, but not do it next red flag, or this is kind of more of just like a general overall thing to do when you are looking for a vendor, and this Is the last one I'll give you guys ask them for pictures? Ask them for videos: okay, tell them to send you live pictures, make sure they're, not stock images or Google Images and you'll be able to tell if you can find that picture on Google or, if you've, seen it on Instagram you'll, be able to tell ask them For pictures and live videos like say, send me a video FaceTime me if they have what's that, you can most likely video chat with them, one what's that and if they aren't answering your what's, that video chat they're most likely that's a red flag, if they're able To text they can video chat with you. Okay, I don't care they can video chat with you, no matter how they must you say, they're busy, they're texting people they can video. They can take about two minutes out of their day and video chat with you and show you the hair. Okay, there's nothing wrong with that. So those are the red flags to look out for definitely ask questions. My whole thing is I access. So you know one questions before I purchase there at first I didn't and that's what kind of messed me up in the beginning. I was getting bad hair left and right, but ask them questions. Ask them questions okay around the world, some in the u.s. have a vendor in India and my Munir in India. They weren't able to send me here, unfortunately, because of their lockdown and the coronavirus, so I had to rely on my vendors in the US which they are delivering and I'm able to keep my customers happy. So I know when China was on lockdown. A lot of businesses were suffering because their vendors weren't able to send them here. So it's very important to make sure that you have multiple vendors. Please have multiple vendors, okay, because I have someone about the hotly when I first started have multiple vendors and I really just hope that this video really touched. You guys and I hope that it helped. You guys move a step closer and I hope that is gon na get you guys up and get get up and get started.
