How I Style My Mercy Cambodian Virgin Hair | Wigs W/ Cam

Hey guys, it's been a while. I hope you missed me. I missed you too, hang out with me. I'M gon na show you how i style my mercy, cambodian virgin hair all right. I welcome back to the from sister to sister channel, where we're all about connecting the voice of our sisters, brothers. We have room for you too, via worship, i love to dance uh, healthy conversation and lifestyle tips. Today we are in a lifestyle tips segment regarding how i style my mercy, cambodian virgin hair. It'S been a good run with this hair, and i felt as a tribute before i switch it up. Let me show you a few of my favorite styles that have really been my go-to. This first one you see right here is just my hair blown out. It'S very long. This hair - i was too lazy to get my tripod, so i'm definitely holding the camera. In my cabinet - and i did not mean to do that - they say on youtube - you guys like the bloopers, so maybe i won't edit that out, but the hair is very long. Eight eight! Hopefully you can see that but yeah, i'm not gon na blow up. My hair for you guys on camera, i mean i blew out my hair a couple of weeks ago and it's still very silky. Yes, there's some body waves coming into it now, but you'll be fine. So yes number one! I don't do it often, but i love to wear this hair um blown out not flat ironed, just blown out and as luscious as it gets honey. So the next style is for our curly curly curly girls out there that love big hair and don't always want to rock something bone straight. I'M a curly girl that will always be my first preference, i usually rock like brazilian wavy curly hair. So what i'm going to do next is a braid out on this hair just to show the versatility. I have a photo shoot today and i've done braid outs in the past, where it's wavy, i'm doing an experiment today, where i want to bring more curl to it too, so i'm going gon na do a braid out and roll it up. So i know perfect time to experiment on a youtube video, but i have confidence that it's gon na come out beautiful. So, let's see what we need. First, okay, so usually to create a look like this that i'm going to show you right now. I would take a flexi rod of this size, sometimes start with something bigger in the back and work. My way up, not too many sections like six sections, but today we are going to do a curlier look. So i'm going to take i'm just going to braid. My hair and i'm going to roll it with a smaller flexi rod of this size, so you're taking a perfectly damp section and you're going to braid, i'm lying. We need to put setting lotion. Ladies, i love this kinky curly setting lotion, it's my go-to for any style, flexi rod, style, healthy, three pumps, we're gon na work that on the ends and work our way up. Yes, okay, so now we're going to braid and yes, i ran out of sections. So i know it's a no-no to pull from other sections, but i'm doing it today. Anyone else do that with their natural hair too. I know i do so. You want to leave a healthy amount of hair out because i don't want a crinkly braid. Look on the end, so, as i mentioned, i'm going to take this roller. You know i'm going to go in with one more pump focus that on the ends, if you need to add more water, do that by the way. I'M sorry, i don't know why the exhaust in my bathroom is permanent. It just runs like that when you turn on the lights, so that's one reason why i don't really like recording in the bathroom but bear with me and we're just gon na roll. Her up like this is like such a huge experiment that i'm doing today with confidence, and that's one section i'll come back when i'm done with everything and i'll show you. The final results - hey hey, i was on production set here - thought i'd, show you how the braids looked before. I took them down: yep voila the transformation. I was decently happy with these results. I get into it later why braid outs are not my go-to, but it's definitely a beautiful look just to get a tightly waved dimension, um yeah! So that's what i do for my wavy braid out. Look yes, girl work. It work hey guys, i'm back with another style, very similar to my previous style. I did use flexi rods, i'm really big. On no heat, i try to treat my virgin hair. Like my own hair and the less you can get away with putting heat on your hair, the better for smoothness longevity and shine. So please don't sleep on flexi rods. You can get amazing curls with flexi rods and that's what this style is about in the previous shot. That was more of a braid out with this hair. I'M not always so quick to do that style because i get inconsistent results every now and then my braid out is a success and everything is even, but when i need to go to style where i want to get consistent results, i know exactly what i'm going To get this is actually my favorite style. Just your traditional roller, flexi rod set and same product was used just water, a few pumps of this kinky curly setting lotion and yeah. We roll her up. I have in the front that frame my face, you're smaller. I think they're called 1 4 inch rods. Don'T quote me, that's not important this size and then in the back of course, i've used them all, but i have the bigger bluer rods in the back that are gon na help. Um give the right balance of curl and volume. Yes, i was tempted to do purple all throughout, but i think the problem is when you use smaller rods with bigger sections of hair, you you risk the hair, not curling properly so stay tuned for the take down. What is this cambodian virgin hair? I know i look crazy, but that's usually how i look in reality when it's time for a deep condition, wash shampoo and leave-in treatment. I'Ve been laying low in virginia not really going anywhere, maybe to and about from the grocery store, so believe it or not. The waves you see in my hair actually result of the flexi rods i put in my hair. So this is proof that flexi rods are amazing. If you're trying to have a style for longevity. I i love the body and and natural drop of the curls, but this frizz is is just i. I can't go out like this. So it's definitely. This is definitely a sign when i need to start afresh and restyle my hair, and sometimes the best style to do is a simple wash and go when you, when you don't want to do a lot, don't want to flipsy rod blow out or braid out your Hair simple wash and go is my go-to, so i'm gon na show you exactly what i did. Okay, so the first thing i do i'm gon na look in here i feel like. I need to be transparent with you guys if my energy seems off in this video from sister's sister, it's just one of those days. I i did spend a significant amount of time crying and it's okay. It happens to the best of us. I just um. I just feel like the camera doesn't lie so, while i'm showing you this simple process of what i do, i thought i just i thought i'd just be a big sis and call out the elephant in the room. But it's simple what i do i just take. The conditioner the deep treatment mask - and i put it on my ends - i especially focus on my ends because that's where i have color treatment, i find that doing this process makes the shampoo a lot smoother a lot less tangly a lot less stripped than just jumping Right in with shampoo, i try to be careful not to put too much deep conditioner at the top, because you know we're not working with afro textured hair. This is european style hair. So, as you know, we've learned or observed what they've communicated less is more when it comes to your roots, because you don't want your hair to be too weighed down, i'm really just trying to focus and give love on the insides from the middle chef down to The ends - i'm okay, guys i just it's just one of those days. I think every woman is allowed to cry um, there's a lot that that kovid has done. There'S a lot going on in the world and i think sometimes i can have an impact on family dynamics and i just feel like i've been carrying in a lot for a long time. And today was my my breaking point. But i'm okay, like i, i feel so light i feel so light after a few conversations i had today and i'm excited for the future, i'm excited for the plans that god has for us all, i'm going to watch the playback. I might mute this if i feel like it's too awkward, that i'm being this transparent, um and i'll keep it if i think it fits. But one thing i will say is lately: i have just been casually going back to some of my videos and it is painful to see the times where i was trying to force myself to crank out content, knowing that i wasn't in the best space. So i figured i have to finish this video. I postponed it long enough. Let me be honest with why my energy may be different. It has nothing to do with not having makeup on it has nothing to do with having the worst life in the world. We all cry: sometimes it's: okay, okay, you guys get the gist. I put this all over my hair and i'm gon na put it in a baggie for 30 minutes to an hour, i'm gon na work out and then take a shower shampoo, rinse out condition. My hair and then i'll come back with my further detangling process, so you can see how i set my hair to air dry. I ended up letting this hair sit and chill in the baggie for two days. You know the more deep conditioning the better, but i'm gon na jump in the shower shampoo rinse out condition and walk you through my leave-in treatments, guys i just finished rinse out conditioning my hair. So now my hair is damp and i'm ready to detangle. So what i'm doing is i've parted my hair in two sections, the same two sections i've been working with and i'm just going to run my fingers through my hair disclaimer, as you guys might have remembered me mentioning i've been here out, chillin in virginia, i'm not In new jersey, so what that means is, i did not use my usual products to style, my hair, so i risk that my results may not be the same. I have a feeling that i i used a lot of um ethnic catered products like um. What'S that brand, i'm looking at right now cream of nature, this castor oil conditioner, nothing, i usually my rinse out - is usually the hello hydration that when i use that it's moisturizing but not heavy, i i fear that my air dry, my wash and go's gon na Come out very way down, even for my leave-in, i usually use kinky curly knot today. For some reason, i didn't remember to pack that so we'll see how this does i'm going to put some on my hair right now. Uh, just like this amount always focus on the ends, always focus on the ends and yeah. That'S what i usually do. Even when i use the kinky curly, i focus on the ends and as i'm combing, it will work its way to the roots. Eventually, you don't want to focus on putting too much gunk on the roots. Okay, so that's enough roll up these sleeves get a little messy, i'm being a little rough, because i do want to go to sleep yeah i feel like my hair is going to dry. More straight than wavy, because it's weighed down and that's okay, that is absolutely okay, it could have been worse. I was i was scared, but my hair was gon na tangle more over the insides, especially because this is a bigger section. Yeah, i'm not feeling how weight down my hair feels. Usually my hair waves up just a little bit okay, so my hair definitely looks way down because of the products that were more oily rich and to combat that we're just going to set my hair i'll. Show you how i do that i have my sections. I'M just going to um take my hair and twist it twist it twist it twist it just like how i would set it if i was deep conditioning so we're gon na. Do this almost like a bantu knot, just keep twisting twisting. Oh, i don't have um a hair tie, it's not good, just tuck everything in yeah, something like that and we're gon na twist her. I don't think you guys twist twist twist just twist twists. Oh that came out really good tuck. Her in it doesn't want to stay, but you get the picture. I'M gon na sleep uh let this air dry overnight, like this, not on my head, i'm gon na take this off but i'll come back tomorrow with the finished look good night, what's up from sister sister family, it is the next day i allowed my hair to Air dry and the two little buns that you saw sometimes yes when i just let the hair air dry by itself, this hair does create its own soft little. I wouldn't call it ringlets, but soft waves. But, as i said, i could tell by how my hair was setting when i was detangling it that i had to give it a little bit more of a umph scrunch. My ankle before was really short. I want to give you a better view of the whole hair. Hopefully, you can see that back view, amazed by what a simple eyebrow and and trying to do your hair can transform a woman whether you're wearing a wig or rocking your natural hair eyebrows and do your hair.
