I'M Tired Of Lace Frontals. Lace Front Wigs Are Ugly.

No matter how many hours you spend laying the lace, it will never look realistic lace fronts, look better on social media because of the simple fact that people stare at your lace before your face the cost of wigs astronomical. Back to my channel, if you're new welcome to my channel okay y'all, what prompted this conversation is because I've been scrolling on my Tick Tock for you page as I do, and I've been seeing a lot of the girls say we just going back to someone's. Now. I'M tired of wigs and I'm like oh who's, going back to sew-ins, because I did it so on one time and that one time I got heat damage so baby, I'm not going back. I just wanted to join in on the conversation about wigs, because I want to put my two cents in this. Is me really telling y'all my love hate relationship with lace, front, wigs, so yeah, let's get into it, no matter how many hours you spend laying the lace, it will never look realistic. I don't care what type of lace you got. I don't care if you got the HD 4K lace. It will never look realistic, and that is a con for me because, like I'm so much of a perfectionist when it comes to my hair, I spend hours trying to lay this lace and just for it to just lift right on up. That makes me mad. That makes me mad. I'M not gon na lie, so that is a con lace. Fronts look better on social media and the camera is never going to pick up what real life can pick up. If we gon na be anything, let's be effing for real, like can we be for real, because a lot of the girls keep saying? Well you just not getting the right lace, you don't know how to lay it down. Look that may be true, but regardless of what even the girls that know how to lay it, damn it's still not gon na. Look like it look on social media, it's just not it's not I'm tired of the girls lying. I honestly always feel more comfortable wearing an elastic band. You know the ones with the velcro on the back. I always feel more comfortable wearing an elastic band over my lace than I feel wearing the actual lace outside now. This may be due to the fact that I wear a lot of transparent lace, wigs and I don't really get a lot of HD Lace, Wigs because the HD lace it really don't last that long and I'll be needing my wig to last, because I'll be going To the gym sleeping eating, you know everything in my wigs, so I just don't be feeling comfortable without wearing elastic band outside because of the simple fact that people stare at your lace before your face, and that is a con for me. The next con is after three days you might as well just take that lace, front off and re-glue it after three days. Your lace will not look how it looked on the first day and even on the first days, still look visible and also the reason why I started this conversation is because I saw this video on Tick Tock, and this girl was just saying that wigs are ugly. I'M gon na insert it right here. I'M gon na insert the video here's the video. I think that as time now, we finally tell the truth: y'all wigs are ugly. They are they're cute, maybe like for the first three days once like the lace is not really lacing like how it does after the three days it's cute, but other than that. Wigs are really not cute like and I sell wigs, but I wish everybody would just start being honest. Like waves are not cute they're not, and it no matter who you go to, I don't care. If you go to air games, hey or Dobby, you're gon na see the lace uh, that's his period like wigs, do be ugly and it's not that they ugly in general. It'S just that, after a while, I think her whole sentiment was just like after a couple days. They just be looking crazy, but that's really what prompted me to start this or chime in on this conversation, because a lot of girls feel the same way. They'Re just delusional and it's nothing wrong with being delusional, but let's just be realistic. They don't look good after three days, so that is another con. The lace be breaking me out and it'd be itchy. I'M talking about, like you, be going crazy by the third day. I'Ll be ready to rip this lace front off, and sometimes I do now good thing. I have a big forehead and it's the lace is not on my edges, because my edges would have been gone. They would have been up in heaven because sometimes the lace gets so itchy that I have to rip it off. Is that bad? It be that bad like it like? You know when you start feeling makeup on your face. It'S kind of the same sentiment like you start feeling the lace front on your head and it just it just acts it's aggravating. So that is another kind lace. Fronts are very high maintenance, and I know this is a downfall for a lot of the girls that get their hair done by hair stylist. You got ta keep you know either going back to the stylist or trying to figure out how to do it yourself. There is so many cons that is the crazy part about it, but I can't hit them that bad. There is Pros we gon na get to them. I can't hand them that bad. So I got ta wig on my head right now, so yeah, it's so ugly. When you take them wigs off and you see that tan line so I've had that happen, I've had it happen where, like I'm talking about the tan line is thick like you can see where I wore my lace front wig and it's embarrassing like the last con - Is the cost the cost of wigs for them to be so high maintenance and for them to never really look real? The cost is astronomical because somebody like me, I want a new wig after three days and that because that's how long they last I want a new wig after three days and the cost for how high maintenance. It is it's sometimes it's not worth it. You might as well just wear your real hair, wear some braids and call it a day. Okay, that was a lot. I really like how I look in lace front. Wigs now this may be rooted in society's beauty standards. I may be planning to society's beauty standards because of the simple fact that I was the person that did big chop, my hair right around the time when the natural hair community was at its height, because I was like I want me some curly, hair too, like I have curly hair and I want it to flourish and I did turn to wigs and weaves when I at that time, because I'm like, I don't really like how I look with short super short hair, and I know this wig about to look made me look Cute so and the pro is, I really like how I look in lace, front, wigs and that could be a good thing and a very bad thing, because at one point in time I only relied on wigs to make me feel beautiful. I was wearing wigs until the hair was falling off the bone, so that could be a very bad thing. That could be a very bad thing, but I really do like how I look in wigs. So that is a pro for me. I do feel like it is a pro that, if I'm just tired of my natural hair, I don't feel like doing it. The wigs do give me a break from my natural hair, and I really do like that, because ciao it's a lot to do with natural hair. It'S not hard, it's just a lot sometimes. So I do like the fact that wigs do give you that break from your real hair and you don't have to damage your real hair by trying to straighten it. Because one thing about me: I'm not straightening my natural hair, my natural hair is my natural hair. A wig is gon na. Do it for me every time, okay, lace fronts are versatile. I love the fact that you can do a updo. You can do color, you can straighten it curl it as many times as you want, and it's just so versatile. I love that. I love that I love it. Next Pro is certain outfits just look good with wigs with lace front, wigs with long hair. I know some of y'all have been through this, where you don't wear a certain outfit or you hold off outfits until your hair get done. Yeah lace fronts is one of them them hairstyles that I'm like oof this this dress or this, this uh shirt or this outfit is really going to pop with a lace front. So I really like that. That is a pro for me because I'm I'm like okay yeah. I can't wait till I get my lace front in the mail. You know AliExpress come through um this, this outfit Really Gon na Pop. When I get my hair done when I, when I get that middle part, 40 inch bust down down yeah lace, fronts are very convenient to throw on I'm one of them. Girls that I get lazy with my natural hair and I would slick my hair back - put it in two ponytails and throw this wig right on right on. So I love the fact that lace fronts are very convenient like, let's be honest, nobody be sitting there feeling like getting a sew in and all that extra mess lace fronts are very convenient, especially if you have an event to go to that night and you don't Have hours to spend getting your hair done, getting all that stuff done, lace fronts are so convenient and honestly, this is so sad. You guys I'm looking at my iPad right now, and this is so sad. It'S probably like five Pros. I said, and I said that is very sad because of the simple fact that I've been wearing wigs since I was a freshman in high school, and you would think that there's more Pros, I feel like to me. Sometimes the pros do outweigh the cons, even though there is way less Pros to wearing wigs um, but, like I said, I feel like it's rooted in society's beauty standards and how they treat black women with natural hair, especially how they treat black women with short hair Society is not easy on us, and so for the girls that you know are relying on lace fronts to make them feel good to make them feel beautiful. You are not alone, because I was feeling like that at one point in time like dang, when am I when my next lace front gon na come in the mail because I don't feel beautiful in my natural hair. So I can't relate - and I can't understand - and I'm not judging you at all, because I was there at one point in time, but I just want you to know that you are beautiful. Like you are beautiful, with your natural hair, you are beautiful with some braids, you are beautiful with some plaits, okay, it don't matter what hairstyle you got. You are beautiful and I want you to know that you don't have to have a lace front to make to make yourself look good, you don't you don't have to plan to society's beauty standards and how other people feel about you.
