I hate rainbow hair from a very technical point of view. Rainbow hair is a nightmare to color correct, because colors all fade at a different time frame, you're going to be left with like weird chunks in your hair. Second of all, why do you have to have all the colors in your hair? Like two aren't enough? Three, you need seven. So for very long time. I did not like the concept of rainbow hair never tried it never wanted to, but it is 20. 20. Damn two: it is the year that i love split dice. It is the year that i love purple hair. It is the year that i love mullet and to damn with me, it is going to be the year that i'm going to love rainbow hair. I'M gon na teach myself to love it because i am done with my childish ass just deciding. She doesn't like something. Oh we're trying it today, but i want to make my life a tiny bit easier and to not have to deal with the color corrected mess of rainbow hair. That comes in the weeks after you start washing it, and the color starts to i'm going to avoid that and i'm going to do it on a wait christmas morning again, this is my perfect lace. Wig, i love them. This is my one trusted retailer. I get this question so often, where do you get these weeks perfectly this week? Let'S dye this rainbow, because i am done deciding that i hate things because i just die. Also. I have zero space left on my wall for any more wigs, so i have genuinely no idea where i'm going to put the rest of them, but for very long time i did not like the way rainbow hair was applied on the hair. I think there was this trend in the like kind of mid 2010s, very emo, punk trend, the whole side swept hair, and there was this thing where people used to dye their whole head just layers and layers and layers and layers and chunks of rainbow. I hated that rainbow, i disliked it and any kind of rendition of full rainbow. I did not like the last few years or so, and i think this is very much thanks to one creator. Caitlyn ford wore her hair in, i think the most elegant rendition of rainbow ever. She also kind of popularized this holographic thing, but she wore rainbow in a very strategic place. She only ever dyed this last kind of section rainbow and the underneath of her bangs. So she was one of the very few people who very much popularized the peekaboo hair, but with this rainbow idea exactly like this, so today on this beautiful silky human hair, fully blonde fully bleached wig, i'm going to do just that. Okay, i'm going to write these pins we're using these pins instead, they're called pearl tipped, pins and they're amazing because they do not get stuck in the hair, and it's very easy to remove. Tell me this doesn't look like real hair like look at it. Look how pretty that looks? Do i want something like that? I mean so all of the rest of this here is going to be dyed, some neutral color that is going to fall on top of the gimbal and then all of this will be the peekaboo rainbow. Let'S mix up some colors first, i need all of the bowls and i'm going to try to color coordinate purple light blue, yellow magenta purples. I do have these two colors, i'm going to swatch them really quickly. I want more of a true purple, so i'm going to go with arctic fog loose x-men, though super blue arctic fox beside poseidon by arctic, fox, i'm going to just straight up. Do this. I forgot that i pretty much ran out of green, and this is the only one i have left nice. I didn't have yellow so we're going to diy it. So if we had a peach punch, cune, yellow, hey, we made mustard, yes, french. I think i'm gon na go in with straight super orange red by splat. I want to finish off with magenta. Let'S go so this took way longer than it should have, but, as i was applying this, i did figure out what color i want to put on top ap that took blue too long. It'S time for her to marinate. I am going to decompress and decompose for like 40 minutes before i wash this bad [ __ ]. I think it's gon na look sick, i'm not going to lie. I think she's going to look trying the wig sick, gluing method for the very first time and i ended up using a method by a thick topper, but i forgot her name. Oh my god, ghost bond xl. Last week i caused a [ __ ] storm on an instagram reel of mine, because i posted that i oil, my wigs and people could not understand why. Anyone who wastes good quality hair products on wigs, even the wigs, are human hair, and if you don't maintain them, it will look like a freezing mess. I obviously still have yet to style this, but i'm pretty happy with it. So far when we curl our hair, we have the option of holding whatever curling device we're going to use horizontally or vertically. This is how my hair looks when i curl my hair with the wand vertical vertical curls to horizontal. I retract my previous comments about rainbow hair, because this is gorgeous this is my favorite wig ever hands down giving it such strong, peacock vibes that i cannot even um see if you can spot a missing rainbow color just give it a give it a real see. What'S missing, can you tell, can you tell it did not occur to me that, as i'm rinsing this out and doing a bath wash for my wing, i did not anticipate that the blue that would bleed out of the hair would simultaneously neutralize the yellow. In my rainbow series, i don't have a single bit of yellow there's, not a bit of warmth in this wig silver. This is color theory, and it's where i it. I so did not anticipate this. I thought i was on top of my game. I still love it, though. The thing is that you can fully just go like black hair with this like technically it's like kind of undetectable. If you wear your hair, like this she's got a lot of black dough, it's like okay and then boom. I love proving myself wrong. It is my favorite [ __ ] thing i sometimes decide i don't like things and then for a very long time. I stick to that random opinion of mine and then sometime in my enlightened future, i decide. No, that is childish, behavior and i end up with the coolest nicest wig hair makeover transformation of my set of my life. If i were to have like an outer body experience - and i can watch myself and be like yes, i also sometimes really wish you guys were present here in front of me, because it would be nice, it's so nice if you were physically here or or better Yet i could see you into a screen.
