How To Lay Your Wigs To Last Days | Angie Queen Hair | 30" Water Wave

Foreign everybody thanks so much for tuning back into my channel y'all, I have a beautiful Waterway wig from Angie queen hair y'all. She is 30 inches and I'm gon na show you guys how I installed this closure unit. This is a four by four closure unit and I'm going to show you guys how I installed this unit for it to last you at least three or four days. Okay, let's get into everything you'll need. So this is the products I'm using. Everything will be listed below and also linked in my Amazon storefront. I am using glue and the even spray and some wax, of course, your hot comb, a little fan to dry the glue and the spray a brush some edge control. Some shine drops like to make it all shiny, so let's go ahead and install her, so I did not use any kind, a ball cap method. I don't leave my wigs on that long to need a ball cap method, but you know, of course I do have to make it more my skin tone, so I use some dark color powder foundation and, of course, you're going to need an elastic band as well. To really really lay this wig down, so let's go ahead and put her on, like I said, no ball cap method here we're doing the easy route. You won't see it the way I install it anyway, so y'all, I don't waste my time doing the ball cap method, it's a great method, if you plan on leaving it one long term, but after three days she is coming off my head and once I take The wig off the ball cap is ruined, so I just use a regular cap. So here is the unit y'all one thing about this unit. I noticed that, even though it's in this dry State like this, I literally had no shedding y'all no shedding and the hair is super soft, like it was very adjustable and once you part the hair, like, I wasn't getting any knotting, which is good. So what I'm going to do? I'M going to put some dark color, like contoured color powder on the lace first to kind of blend it in with my skin tone, and you guys are going to see what this does so it doesn't have that ghostly white lace. Look, it literally matches my skin tone perfect. I wouldn't recommend using a liquid foundation, for this. Um definitely use a powder to match so, of course, you're going to need some scissors as well. So I'm just going to put the Combs. I do use the combs in my wigs, but I make sure it's positioned to where it doesn't snatch. My hair out, my hair is usually braided down and it's better to insert the Combs into braids than just loose hair um. So I was kind of thinking how I want to do it. Do I want to cut the lace first or last I actually decided to cut the lace last so right. Now I'm pulling back that lace and I'm going ahead and apply my ghost Bond glue, and this is a little fan. Y'All, so cute definitely be patient. So the glue can turn clear. I wasn't patient y'all, I was not patient. The glue was still a little white when I laid it down, but that's okay. It definitely still turned white later make sure you only put the glue on your skin y'all away from your hairline, so definitely tie her down with the elastic band and wait 10 minutes. So 10 minutes has passed. We want to go ahead and pull that elastic band off and check out. What'S going on how she looks, this is the key to have your wigs last three or four days. Y'All definitely need the black can of this even spray. So the go spawn and then the even spray goes on, and then you want to lay her down again lay her down, let her dry and y'all. She will stay for at least three days so, while she's laid down you want to go ahead and style. The unit you want to style the unit while the elastic band is still on just so it doesn't shift your lace if it's still drying, you don't want uh the glue and everything to still be drying and you're styling it and it shifts. So. At this point, you want to style it. You want to put your wax up there and you want to use your hot comb to lay this unit flat y'all. I did not pluck this unit, I didn't, and it's still going to look so good, so this is straight out the pack onto my head. This is a beautiful unit y'all, so I am just spraying this wig down with a little water. It got real Misty. This is a continuous spray bottle, so it was just spraying everywhere. So, of course you want to use your water, but water, just using water will not give you the curls that you need. I'M going to show you guys the other product that I use besides. Just water for my curly units foreign, so this is Olive Miracle, leave-in conditioner cream, and it is amazing y'all. It is amazing, so you want to section the hair and definitely saturate this curly hair. With this leave-in conditioner, you want to saturate it it's okay to mist. It down, you don't have to saturate it with water because it's going to dry anyway, but you definitely need some kind of cream leave-in conditioner and not. I didn't, show it in this video. But if you visit my Tick Tock, I show you guys how I twist this wig at night into six big twists and untwist it and how it looks the day after it looks amazing, but you definitely want to saturate it all the way to the end. Do not forget about the ends y'all because it will be super dry. So once you go to sleep at night, you want to put some big chunky twists in this wig and while you're sleeping on it and when you wake up, it's going to be absolutely beautiful. So y'all just stay tuned, and this is all I do to style this unit. So after she is all moisturized down and everything I went ahead and took off the elastic band and she is laid. She is not going anywhere she's, not going anywhere. So at this point I want to cut the lace off um and this is a 4x4, but don't let that scare y'all I mean The Parting space is amazing and it still looks realistic. It'S not too short or anything like that and y'all. This wig did not, it barely shed to be a curly unit and to be 30 inches. It barely shed and this lace laid down very, very well. The knots are they're not like super visible. I definitely recommend bleaching the knots, but I wanted to show you guys how these wigs look straight out the box without about you know all the major changes, no plucking, no bleaching, nothing like that. This is straight out the box on my head. So after you cut the lace, you are going to notice that you do need to lay it down just one more time with some even spray and yo lay her down again. If you have time this is not a Pronto wig install. If you have time - and you want your wigs to last days and days - you have to continuously lay this down and let that lace melt into your skin. You definitely need that pressure from the elastic band to make it look good. So I noticed that I had some like shadowing and some white like light area, so I always take a dark brown eyebrow pencil and just kind of take away that shadowy. Look. So I'm just parting her up. I want to lay her down again just one more time and now I'm going on to do my baby hair, I'm not a baby hair expert at all, but at first I tried to lay it down with just egg edge control and it was not working. It was not working foreign, so of course, I brought out my tiny flat iron and I definitely flat iron and curled and flipped the baby hairs, and look what big of a difference that makes when you curl the baby it just it curls like once, you put The edge control on the baby hair that you like heat, curled it oh my gosh. It makes such a big difference, so I put just a little bit of even spray on my finger and I kind of dab it on the baby hair. I don't want my baby hair to be too crunchy, so I just leave use a little bit, but it definitely helps lay your baby hair down and helps it last. So this is almost the last step y'all that was pretty quick, so I'm just using some um Foundation. This is a Fit Me Foundation, stick and a color. That'S slightly lighter than my skin tone. I believe that's the color coconut and it really really brings out that part and make it makes it more noticeable and more realistic. So, as y'all can see, I still have that white like ashy Halo, so I either use some dark Contour powder or I use my dark eye pencil again and just kind of fill in where that lace is really light, and it's always worked for me. So this is what I do to tame my flyaways. I know this might look crazy, but I am using some even spray to really really make the top of the wig sleek and I know you're like what, but this really won't freeze the hair in place. Like you think it would it's not Spritz, um and you'll see that it really really helps lace. Those lay those flyaways down this wig didn't have many. There were very, very few and very thin, but I still just like to make it as smooth as possible on the top of this unit. So y'all guess what I literally am finished. So I just missed it down one more time with um some water and just kind of you know it dried a little bit. So I just moisturized it once again and y'all this wig is the bomb. I love the way it turned out, so I'm using some Mitch Stone like Sheen, drops it's from Mitch Stone and look how gorgeous this wig is Angie. Queen y'all definitely check her out. Look at the ends. She is true to Ling, she's 30 inches, and this hair is like almost dry, like literally 98 dry. I just missed it down one more time and y'all had to change my outfit. I had to change my outfit for this wig I had to so so cute. This shirt is from Shan the pants don't match. It was just like my lounge around pants, but y'all check out Angie queen.
