Fall+Transformation+ How To Slay 13X6 Straight Hair //Wowafrican

Hey y'all, it's all of destiny in this video i'll be doing a full fall, get ready with me i'll, be starting off, showing you all how to do my hair start to finish following that i'll be doing my current go-to makeup routine. If you've seen my makeup on instagram lately, this is the one no get ready with me is completed without the fragrance, as well as the outfit, and, if that's not enough, i'm challenging myself to do this total transformation in one hour so that i can be out Of the door, let's go ahead and get right into the video. This is what i'm about to do, i'm a little bit behind, because i was getting everything set up, there's an event that i'm going to a birthday party, not a birthday party. I mean it is for a birthday, it's like a private event and a venue either way. I'M taking away my minutes already. I have one hour to get ready me and my sister i'm leaving out at nine o'clock. I just post it to instagram asking you all. I put it on the screen if y'all think i can do my hair and my makeup in one hour, i didn't show instagram how i was currently looking, so they all know what i'm working with i'm gon na. Let voiceover destiny. Do her thing that way. I won't have me running my mouth, be a reason that i wasn't done in time. I'M gon na let y'all chill in the film wrong with me and we're gon na get started. Let'S begin actually voice over destiny in the building. Baby was good that sounded like ratchet destiny. If you ask me, i'm going to take this edge control that i will not say the name of rubs hands like bird man and i'm just going to use that to slick back my hair by the way. Let me know what you think: this just helps to get my own hair out of the way. Now i'm just going to go ahead and apply the stocking cap and now for the star of the show. This long straight wig is from well african. It'S a 13 by 6 inch thick density, silky straight wig. It is 22 inches long. The density is 150, the hairline is pre-plucked, the knots are already bleached, so there's less work for us and it does have the removable elastic band. I'M using scissors to cut off this lace in the back and i'll be using these craft scissors to cut off the lace in the front. I got two clothes. Okay, that's okay! They probably just been some hair. I would have plucked anyway using any sort of scissors with a little jig jack jig, using any type of scissors, with a little zigzag pattern like that. Just helps the lace to be more um, undetectable versus cutting it straight across. Like i did in the back for convenience, i think i'm going to go ahead and keep the middle part since y'all know my side, part kind of girl just to switch it up and we got a lot of parting space. That'S what the 13x6 is for, or that's what that means, i'm taking the elastic qp. This is the olive oil and mango butter design foam. You can use any kind of foaming, wrap lotion just to sort of lay the part even more flat and i'm going to take, or i thought i was going to take my got to be freeze spray, but it was not working, oh god, okay, i thought i Had pump it up in there be right back: okay, okay, okay, she's back, i got pump it up, and then i got some suave. Whichever one works, let's try this one pump. It up cause i'm sitting here like i'm, not trying to be done in time. Tripping. Basically, i know what i didn't do. This is sephora micro smooth actually before laying the wig down with the holding spray. I'M going to take this powder. This is by sephora mine is in mahogany number 56. It just matches my skin tone to make sure that the wig cap will match my skin tone for the look and then i'm just going to go ahead and take my blow dryer. This is the red by kiss detangler blow dryer i'll link it down below. For you all and i'm using this on cool and also hot, i sort of just alternate between the two and i'm using the tip of the red tail comb, just to press the lace into place. Oh that kinda rhymes. As i'm blow drying. You see me combing. The hair back at the same time, and that's because you want the lace to lay down, but you don't want your hair laying down stuck to your forehead. So i comb through the hair so that it does not get stuck. And i know we all remember pumping up growing up. I know that this hole gon na be on point. It doesn't have to be perfect because, as i'm gluing it down any pieces that i do not need. I also go in and cut those off as well. Sometimes i like to cut the lace off once i've already glued it on, but i wanted to try something different just to have the lace already out of my way, plus my scissors are like larger than the type that people use for this method, so yeah, but Let me stay called up to where we are in the video, so once i'm satisfied with gluing it down, i'm just going to go ahead and separate out a few pieces. This will become the baby hair, i'm also taking the pump it up again, just to spray that just to help those pieces to lay forward and also help the lace to lay down even further and i'm separating out just small amounts. And i want to take this wrap strip. I purchased this at the beauty supply store. You can also get it on amazon, and this will just tie the lace down while we work on the rest of the hair to straighten my hair today i'll be using this titanium professional hair straightener. A lot more than wearing it curly so we'll discuss what that means coming up soon, but i was super excited to use this flat iron. Not only that, but it's pink that's my favorite color shout out to all of my subscribers with their own businesses, just flourishing and thriving being entrepreneurs. I don't know about you all, but seeing other people do well for themselves really inspires and motivates me. I read comments. All the time where you all tell me that i inspire you all, but just know, y'all inspire and motivate me right back. It'S taking no time to flat iron, this hair, and this is the difference between the size that i've kind of touched up the root area to make it more flat compared to where i have not yet normally. I would also go in with my pressing comb to really lay this nice and flat could not find it. I found it the following day after this. If you follow me on instagram that you heard me talking about that either way, so i'm going to take a lighter concealer than my skin tone, just pop that into the parting space from afar. It just makes the part really stand out and then taking some more of the elastic qp design foam just to really lay the top of the hair, nice and flat of my hour. I got about 23 minutes left, of course, quick editing and to make the baby hair look a little more natural, i'm just going to do a little bit of plucking to the front, i'm going to take this edge brush that i was also gifted by queen me. Hair extensions just to get a head start on laying the baby hair. Since i have to do my makeup and i don't want to ruin it - we're going to come back to the hair and the edges after we finish the makeup and again all of the details about this week from well african will be in my description box down Below i really like working with well african because they have nice quality hair and they do so much of the work for you already bleaching the knots pre-plucked hairline, the elastic band is already added. What more can you ask for so now it's time to do my makeup and of that hour we only have 13 minutes left, but it's cool i've gotten quite a few requests on instagram to show you all my updated makeup routine. So this is it elf recently gifted me, the poreless putty primer too much too much. I really like the way this product filled in my pores. To give me a good starting point. Before applying my foundation and speaking of foundation, milani has been my go-to for the past couple of months. I'M using the conceal and perfect two-in-one foundation, concealer i'm mixing golden tan number 10, as well as amber to get my perfect shade for the fall season before blending out my foundation, i always like to spray on the elf plus glow dewy mist. I always see jackie aina spray, her face before blending her foundation. Since this is glowy, you only need one to two sprays. So with me, having 10 minutes left, i'm gon na tell y'all no i'm not gon na finish, but i think y'all know that i mean i'm gon na finish. It'S just not gon na be within an hour. The way that i could have prepped myself for that would have been to had already flat ironed the hair and cut the lace off, but it's okay, i'm not gon na try to complete a challenge, knowing that i have somewhere to go, and then i show up Looking a mess because then it would just be like okay excuse her, because she was filming for youtube. Look at me making a mess, though, and then look at this not staying and getting in my hair, great just great so to contour. I'M using the la girl pro conceal and chestnut this product is so classic that it's been a part of my makeup routine, for as long as i've had a makeup routine. So i'm applying it in the hollows of my cheeks down the bridge of the nose that little circle that i'm doing on the end is just something new that i've been trying. I don't know, and then i'm going to do, underneath the lip for a little pout and, of course, the temples of the forehead and turn off the flat irons. Oh my god, i'ma just unplug them since them make sure i turn them off. Okay, i'm using this angled brush to blend out my contour. This one literally says buff bronzer and i got it last year for my birthday, but it's just that good that i'm still using it a year later. I know how i'm tripping absolutely you cannot forget to do the jawline, especially since i gained 10 pounds. So, of course, i need to snatch my jawline if you've seen more of my makeup tutorials on my channel or makeup videos, then you'll notice that sometimes i reach for a lot of the same products. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you like what you like, why change it while i switch it up if it works for you, i feel like my technique is what has improved and i definitely reach for more brushes now for my blending, instead of just relying only on a beauty blender, my Clock has 6 minutes and 48 seconds left and my new concealer is, in my purse, be right back, so this isn't a new concealer on the market. It'S just a new purchase that i've made. This is the elf 16 hour camo concealer, a product that i absolutely love. Only difference is now. I just chose a lighter shade. This one is medium beige. Okay, we got ta work with that later for sure, because sometimes when doing my makeup, i like to do my contouring before i do the highlighting it's just something about the overall end result when i finish my entire face. That just has me like girl. I think this one is way too light. So, yes, i know it's looking kind of light, looking kind of bright, of course, with makeup or anything in life, trust the process. So i'm reaching for that same bronzer brush that i use just to kind of remove any harsh lines, and then i use the butt side of the beauty blender to also assist me with that as well, then i rotate it back to the pointed side to help Me blend out the concealer. I got two minutes left now. Let me show you all how and why, using that light, concealer, once i set it, it does exactly what i needed to do, i'm using the sasha buttercup setting powder. I love the shade of this powder against my skin. It really helps to warm up the look so setting that lighter concealer with this powder tones it down to the perfect bright under eye that i'm looking for versus. If i used a concealer that was more close to my skin tone and then setting it with the same powder, it wouldn't look as highlighted underneath it okay, so my full hour has passed. This is what i was able to finish in an hour. But perfection takes time, so i have the name of the brush that i'm using on the screen. I purchased it either at tj, maxx or ross a good couple of months ago. The density of this brush is a game changer. In the way my makeup looks now. I'M using that in combination with the sephora micro smooth and mahogany number 56, i do pressing motions to really work this product into my foundation before i do circular motions, because i feel like this sort of digs up the foundation, then i use a clean brush to Do two things sweep off the setting powder and also help me to remove any harsh lines just by blending. My makeup together go ahead and take the black radiance. True complexion, contour palette, all of the products that i'm using in this video will be linked in order for you all in my description box down below, and i use that to further contour my nose basically everywhere, where i did the cream contouring i'm going to go On top of that with this product, i don't always do this step, but on a night like tonight where i'm actually stepping out, i want to make sure that everything is just like looking, oh so luscious and, oh so good. If we're going to do makeup, we're gon na do makeup. So now let's go ahead and get into these brows. Normally i'm a brows first kind of girl. When it comes to my makeup, i don't know why i'm just now doing it, but i'm taking the maybelline tattoo studio, brow gel in deep brown, and i use this not to set my brows, but this really brings out the way my brow looks as you all. Can see it kind of fills it in for me, i like to go ahead and spray my face normally at this time too, but that's because normally my brows would have already been done, but it's cool i like to take the anastasia, beverly hills, brow wiz this One is in dark brown and the reason i like to use the brow gel first now is because it really fills in a lot of those sparse areas for me, and it makes my brow pencils actually last longer this way, if you want a good drugstore option For a brow pencil that works just the same definitely check out the nyx micro pencil so to clean up the brows on the bottom, i'm taking the same elf concealer in medium beige, and i don't want my brows to look lighter along the top. So instead i'll use my foundation shade milani foundation that i used all over the face. I'M using the spoolie end of the brow wiz to make sure the product is distributed evenly and then, if i need to fill in any extra areas, i'll do that. At this time, to also make sure my concealer is blended, i'm taking a clean brush and just tapping that over where we use the concealer on the bottom and the foundation along the top. So whenever i don't have time for eye shadow, but who am i kidding, i hardly ever wear eyeshadow. I normally just use that same contour palette by black radiance and i just tapped it over the eyelids, while african also sent me over these eyelashes. These are in glam licious, so many of you all were complimenting my lashes in a lot of my most recent photos. So these are the ones there it is there. It is cleaning off. This disk is not counted in my hours, which is already passed anyway. So the last time my glue, dried to perfection is when i did my highlight. While i was waiting so i like to trim off the outer corner on the lashes just a little bit and then i'm using the duo, lash glue. Y'All put me onto this, and i've been using it ever since thank y'all for the recommendation i haven't reached for this one in a while, but i'm using the anastasia, beverly hills, glow kit, even though the glow comes from within i'm applying that on the apples of The cheek a little bit lately, i've been putting on the forehead the tip of the nose down the bridge of the nose, the cupid's bow and then the inner corners of my eyes again, not having time for eye shadow, i'm just going to tap that into the Center of the eyelid and blend it out with my finger now we're moving back to the hair. This is my nume wand, since i still could not find my pressing comb, i'm going to use that just to sort of make my hair lay even more flat. Take this flat away and frizz timer, it's a hair wax stick by wow african as well just to lay down the flyaways and remove any frizz and static in the hair. Now let me put you on to my go-to lip combo start off with nyx lingerie. I don't use a lip liner, we're using this as our lip liner. Just by going along the outer portions of the top and bottom lip, then i tap my lips together to blend it out, i'm going in now with anastasia beverly, hills, liquid, lipstick and naked. If you can't get naked stripped is a very similar shade. After that i tap those two together as well. I had to go back on the lashes, so they weren't sitting this entire time. I put glue back on them and for some reason y'all. I just applied it to perfection. I don't know how but okay i'll take it. Sometimes, if i want to do a gloss on top of the lip combo i'll use, fenty fuzzy, and just like that now you all know my go to lip combo. This has been it whether it's matte or gloss for the past couple of months. I'M just going to go ahead and use the black radiance eye pencil in the waterline and then i'm also going in with the koki professional lash boosting primer even on days when i don't want to wear false lashes. If i go in with that primer. First, my natural lashes really stand out. I'M really putting you all on to all of my favorite products, favorite combos favorite. Everything in this video like this is my go-to routine. As of lately. Oh, yes, oh kill them y'all. I'M feeling this look like um destiny. Yes, ma'am, flips, hair and, of course, can't forget the blush i'm applying this one by milani. Now we need to smell as good as we look, which is also delicious and also good, like so my combo for the night, i'm using my cocoa mademoiselle by chanel body cream, as well as the chanel coco mademoiselle perfume, shout out to my sister bone. She gifted me both of these for my 29th birthday and yes, we had to tell witty witty okay ratchet destiny said hey, we finished the hair, the makeup and we smell good who's ready for the outfit of the night. Camera is about to die. So let me be quick. This jumpsuit, i think it's from sheen from a clothing haul. Probably like a good while ago, i'm carrying my ysl bag hair is from wow. African heels are from aldo, i don't know which one is one first, but in the vlog i was debating like which one should i wear. I chose these over the ones that could look more cute with this. I mean these look cute with it, but i also have to consider: can i stand all night in it? Will i be in pain that kind of stuff really matters to me so since they kind of tie up all the way, i just stopped it right here at the ankle, i'm feeling it really feeling it. The sleeves are kind of sheer so yeah, oh baby round of applause. For me, i got this from five below i'm going to take it with me. Pantene free is on the go supposed to be like a little flat iron. Let'S see so, oh it's supposed to get the frizz out yeah, i'm going to put this in my purse for sure to lay fly away.
