Y2K Inspired Balayage / Highlight Wig Installation Ft Megalook Hair

Hi guys welcome back to my channel. So today i'm working with mega look hair. They sent me this 22 inch, balayage wig, i'm just going to be showing you guys how i install it. I'M not doing the wig cap method. I don't ever do that because i just like to waste time, so this is what the wig looks like on. The only thing i've done is i've added a little bit of colored powder to the lace um, because it was a bit light for me. I believe this is the hd lace um i can't lie, i feel like it's giving more transparent than hd lace. However, it's not bad at all. I'M just gon na go ahead and install this wig in half, so i'm gon na do the right side first and then i'm gon na do the left side. I find it much easier than doing it all in one, and i also like to cut my lids before i install it, so i'm just doing a thin layer of voice from blue um. So far, ghostbuster is the best that i've ever used. Um no shades a lot of these, but like this has just been very consistent for me like it just does what i need it to do: um yeah! So i'm just laying it down! You can see that it's laying down pretty well um, i'm just gon na! Go ahead and do the other side exactly the same thing, guys just a tip make sure that you are doing a thin layer of glue. If it is taking more than 20 seconds for your glue to dry, then that means your layer is not as it hasn't been spread as thin as possible. So yeah, i'm just going to go ahead, stick down the left side and carry on for the install. So you can really see the turns of the wig much more um after i have applied lace. I really really like the color of this wig. I would say it's more of a highlight um. So it's jet black hair with 613 highlights. You can see like some brown bits, but i'm guessing those are just parts which wasn't able to bleach fully. So i'm just going to go ahead with my cara care, wax stick and hot comb the front of the wig to get as flat as possible. Um. This wig did come pretty flat anyway, so i didn't have to go in sections like i normally do at home departing i'm gon na apologize in advance when i was doing the straightener curls it didn't come across on camera to as best as it could have. So if you guys want me to do like a video on how i do my straightening poles, let me know, but i did leave some of the clips in it. So you can see, but i did go ahead, starting off with straightening the hair. Look at how it just looks so good, like it's giving two thousand inspire um, so i'm going ahead and i'm just cutting down baby hairs. I really didn't even have to do baby hairs with this wig, but i was just trying to be a bit different, so i use hairspray for my baby hairs, i'm not the best at baby hairs, but my intentions with doing b here is just to cover, like The sharp edges of the lace um so yeah, i'm gon na. Let you guys watch me do that, so i'm literally gon na do the same thing on the other side and then i'm going to use my bed head spray and just spray the lace again and put down my elastic band just so everything can knock in and I'M using mascara here just to correct the over bleaching. I did in the middle, so i've now come back after i've done my makeup guys. Let'S excuse how unblended the bottom of my eyebrows are so yeah here is where i started doing the straightener curls um. I feel like i wasn't in a good frame in the shot and i was also on the phone, so i was a little bit like distracted, so guys apologies. I just thought i'd keep these clips in, so you guys could kind of get the vibe of like what it was that i was doing. But if you do want a deal video, please let me know, but yeah um.
