Hey guys welcome back if this is your first time on my channel, welcome and thanks for clicking on this video, so today's video is going to be something i really don't like that, it's a glare in my glasses! That'S why i never wear my glasses when i'm filming, because i don't like that you can clearly see the ring light. But if i tilt my head just right, you can't see it but um anywho we're gon na go with it. So i want to show you guys if you already read the title of this video, i am going to be showing you a very easy diy and braid braided headband wig. I don't know what you call it, but i got this idea from a girl that i follow on tick tock. She got it from uh someone. She follows on tick tock, which is the original video, but i'm just going to put her who i got it from i'm going to put her video up, so you guys can see how she did it and when i saw that she did this on tick tock. I was like, let me click on sis youtube, to see how she did this, because this is what i need when i'm in between styles and as you can see, i'm clearly in between styles, okay, so my hair is like blown out because i did a um Top knot - and i was gon na - do a ponytail, but i was like no i'm kind of tired of ponytails, so i was like what else can i do? I need to do something different and i was like this would be fun. I can share it with you guys because it's easy all my lazy, natural girls out there. This is for you. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and don't forget to subscribe. Like please leave me some comments below and let me know you know what other ideas you guys have if you actually tried this um but yeah, let's go ahead and get right into it all right, so my hair is giving wild child right now um, but my Hair is really growing. You guys, you can't really tell because it's like really big and poofy, but back to this hairstyle. So first thing i did was: i went to my local beauty supply store and i purchased two packs of this freetress um. It'S like the crochet braid hair and it comes with a three in a pack. This is the color two, it's the only color they had. I usually get a one or one b, but two is not far from that. So i just got two of these. I don't know how much i'm going to end up using, but we'll see we'll see so um you're definitely going to need your braid here. This is 22 inches. I was going to get the 28 inches, but i'll be trying not to do too much. You know but um yeah so get you some box braids that are pre-braided me, i'm all about easy, quick, simple, so buy some braid hair and that's it. I had to go to another beauty supply store, because you can never find all you need at one beauty. Supply store, so the braid hair was 10.99 a piece, so two packs for 10.99 20, some dollars. So that's that the next thing you're gon na need is this wig grip um. I opened it already, but it was 2.99. This is just a band that you put on your hair when you want to secure your wig in place, so that is exactly what we're going to be doing, and this is how it looks um. What you're gon na do is you're gon na actually glue the um pieces of hair onto this. So okay y'all bear with me, because this is my first time doing this and i really don't want to explain it, but i hope i'm doing it right. Okay. So this is the band okay, and this is how it i'm thinking it goes like this. So this is how it goes around your head like this, and then it velcros, y'all, okay and then the velcro's like right here to secure it in place so definitely get you one of these. It has the um this, like silicone grip on it. That'S weird, my camera, just my phone just stopped recording in the middle of me talking, so i don't even know what you guys saw and didn't see, but um so yeah. I went to dollar tree to get this. This is a glue gun that i did get from dollar tree because i'm not an arts and craft girl. So i don't want to spend a whole lot of money on this. If i'm not going to be using it often so just go anywhere. Get you a glue gun and some glue sticks. I went to the dollar tree. I got a bag of glue sticks a glue gun. We gon na make this work the best way we can okay, and let me tell you about dollar tree. Why did i spend a dollar and 25 cents on everything that i got from dollar tree today? So yeah? All you need is your glue gun, your glue, sticks, your hair and your weak grip, and that's basically it so um. I'M gon na go ahead and braid. My hair down and plug this up because i don't know if it needs to heat um, it takes five minutes to heat, so make sure you plug this up. So i'm gon na plug this up, while i'm braiding my hair down and then we'll get to working on making this i'm so excited, oh all, right guys, so my hair is braided up. I did all my scalp just to put that out there. I got in these two braids that i'm just gon na you know put in a little something like this, but um for now we're gon na go ahead and get into the fun part. So i had to come to the floor because i'm trying to mix my bed up - and i am not sure if i even want to do this - but i haven't already got too far, so i'm just going to go with it um. Oh, i am just going to go ahead and take this off of here and start gluing it on my little band. I have my heat gun, it's not a heat gun. I have my um glue, gun right here, already warmed up, and my extra glue sticks right here. So what i'm going to do is - and i just want to go ahead and tell everybody when you are using a glue gun - please be very careful, it does get hot um. I don't know if it gets hot enough to burn you, but i'm not gon na. Try it i'm just gon na assume it does and be very careful, so guys be very careful and i got these so that they are they come down to my waist. So that's what i like, if i do really good i'm going to do this in twist and foam locks, i'm just going to lay my um my glue gun on this, so it doesn't get on my carpet. So clearly, i'm having a hard time, but she did get a mannequin head. If you guys don't have one of these um, you probably can't eyeball it, but because i did i'm just going to go ahead and use the one that i have, and so this is going to be like the front of my head, where the velcro is and Then the back i have it looped down. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to take my glue gun and i'm going to start where i want my hair to lay because that's how she did in the video so like right right here. Is it coming out yo this thing came from the dollar store, so bear with me: okay, y'all! I don't even think this. Oh it come it's coming out. It'S coming out! Okay! So like that and like like that, i want it to lay probably not that close. Okay, so all right so y'all see how this is going so far. Hopefully you can see this okay. Let me try it again so that you can see so what i'm gon na do is take my glue. Stick! Yes, oh thank you do, oh! So i have finished this. I went and added some extra ones ignore that, because you're not gon na see it but um. This is all i have left and i really could probably place these somewhere but um. I really don't feel like it, but i went and added like i just filled in the little spot. So if it was like a little gap, i stuffed a braid into that gap and so that it looks full. As you can see, it looks really full and i already got my little wig cap on because we're gon na put her on and see how she looks. But i just want you guys to see how i actually glued them on and um. So i put glue on the braid and i put glue on the little tip of the um like right. Here i put glue right there and i just did it like. If i had one left. I probably would stick one right there, but i don't so. I'M not gon na worry about that, but any little space you just stick a braid in there. If you want it to look full like this, and that way you can like pull it back in a ponytail, you can wear it down. You can like make this a whole look. So um yeah, let's see how this looks, and i do want to say that this did get pretty messy um. I had glue everywhere so yeah just be cautious of that. Don'T get glue on anything that you, you know any of your valuables that you can't get off of um and another thing i did glue it on the side that doesn't have the um the grip, this little silicone grip, because i want it to grip to my Head so let's see how it looks: okay, of course, once you get it on your head, you can adjust it so how it's supposed to look but um! I kind of just wanted to come like right there and be like this, so that if i wanted to wear it like this, i could so. This is how it looks without a hat, but i'm gon na go get a hat, so you guys can see how it really supposed to look and that's how it looks in the back. Okay, let me go get it um. I have three different heads, um well and a scarf, so i want to show you how it looks with that. So um. Let me try this hat on this cute little hat. I got this from. If you guys are on instagram, it's a spiritual word, their page. They have these hats on sale for like 10, i believe but um. This is how it looks with this hat now that i'm putting this on i'm thinking, it's not gon na look right with my wig cap, so i'm gon na have to do something. Okay, my camera, like my phone, went out again like this is so weird but um. This is how it looks. Let me show you what it looks like in the back. I really like it dog i like it. I like it a lot okay. So, let's see i got this head, it's a victoria's secret, hey, it's the same hat, but just in case they fit different. I bought two separate hats, because you know these little hats be fitting kind of different, sometimes so this is how this one looks: okay, um, because it's cold and i'm probably gon na - be wearing something like this tomorrow, anyway um. My plan is to wear something like this: tomorrow you can wear your little beanie hat. You can wear a bucket hat, so this is how this looks and the next one is going to be this scarf. Let'S see if i can tie this right um if you guys know how to tie scarf, and you know what i'm trying to do here, just tie it, how you know how to tie it or you know, use whatever turbine. You know i just wanted to share some thoughts on this um braided, headband wig, so um first thing those hats that are like the cap, like the ball cap. Hats, i guess, is what you call them. It has like the opening in the back. Basically, you would need to either get a thicker band to cover that little piece because that's the issue i was running to when i was trying to wear my cute little hat the braids kept showing in the back - and i didn't like that. So i bought this little hat from five below and this works perfect. Like you can't see anything, everybody thought my hair was braided, but even my family, i was calling them. They were, like you, braided your hair and i was like so weak. No but um like i've been wearing this for maybe like three days now, and it's really no braids have fallen out. So the hot glue works. Only thing i would say, is to either get a full cap and braid them on that or um. That way, you can put them up a little higher and hide the piece in the back, and now i see why the girls love wigs because being able to just take this off and let your hair breathe this it. This works so um, it's a great protective style if you um, don't want to get braids or you're trying to grow your edges back. This is a great protective style for that you can do different styles. You can do braids like me, you can do twists locks whatever it is. You want to do. You can do it. You can even do some bundles if you know you're a hat girl. Do that, like you, can do it if you like this video, please leave me a comment below. Let me know if you try this. Definitely let me know thank you guys for 400 subscribers. I'M so excited about that, and i will see you guys in the next video bye
