My earrings at y'all hi guys welcome back to my channel, so i know a lot of you guys have been seeing the new headband wigs all over instagram and all over youtube, and i finally got my hands on one. So i got away from rpg show and i had them make me um one of the wigs in layers, so i haven't even opened the box yet so i don't even know what it looks like, but i wanted a long unit that had layers in it so That i could just put it on and go because these wigs just seem so freaking easy, like you literally, don't have to do anything. So, let's see they sent me. Oh my gosh. They sent me a bunch of headbands, so they sent me all of these headbands. That'S awesome, so i can use these with my real hair too, so a bunch of different ones and different colors to try out what is this. Oh, they have a wig conditioning spray now smooth moistened and soft, that's cute! So let's see what it looks like. Why am i nervous so yeah? I got 20 inches, there's no lace, anything so yeah, it's just a 20 inch unit and it's supposed to have curls and layers. So this is what it looks like like the regular cap construction in the inside for like behind the lace, that's what it looks like and then it has adjustable straps in the back a hook right here and then it has three hooks yeah, i'm missing the nail Too, oh my gosh, i'm just using this finger, i'm missing a nail, but it has three hooks in the front right here and then this is the little satin stretchy or not sad, not what it is. Stretchy part right here. So, okay, so i'm just gon na start off by pulling my hair back, i guess, let's see, i didn't even watch any videos on this besides the ones that were popping up on instagram, so i'm assuming you probably can braid your hair. You would just have to do something like if you were the headband all the way up. It would be fine if you just left, like your baby hairs out um, but if you wanted to slide it back some, then you could get away because i wear parts with my headbands all the time so dang do. I want to slick it back or do i want to part i'm just going to slick it back, i'm going to slick it back. What is this? What'S in here? I think it's water, i'm just doing this so that i can get my hair flat. I wish i could say i was finally over you, but that's not the truth. Everyone always keep falling in love again, so there's no layers in it. So i'm like straightening it now like getting it real straight. I just want to see so when i cut it. I know what the heck it's going to look like, because i don't want to cut it while it's curled got my petri essentials, comb y'all! Okay, so let me show you guys something because it's kind of a little too big for me in the back um, like the way that they have the velcro set up like because it's only like this is the soft part right here, and then they have the Sticky part, it's just a tiny little slither, so this is kind of just hanging, so i just tuck this under back here like that to keep it from like hanging and dangling and like bothering me nice, you know not all the time. Sometimes completely one length is fine, but that's not what i wanted. I know that i'm obviously getting this way, but why did i stay when i heard we both wanted different okay? So now i'm gon na do my edges, so i'm gon na take my lovely beast edge. Control, see i told y'all. I still do this with my real hair, because i got this like little little speak right here that i don't be knowing what to do with it and then this baby hair on this side grow a completely different way. Look at that! No more ripping out my sideburns, so that was super easy and i know i made it extra out by doing more things than i needed to, but i just wanted to make it like my own um, but i got these really cute ones from amazon uh that I want to try: where is it? I don't want it so stuck together like give me something i like that, so, yes heavens, so i got these heavens from amazon um that i think, will look really really cute with this. So i'll link these down below. For you guys, but look how freaking cute they are okay, so final thoughts on this unit. I think that it is an amazing idea. I think they're, adding the band part to a. U part makes it so much better like you. Parts are already bomb, especially because you get the freedom of having your own natural hairline, which makes you more comfortable because it's like your real face. You know, because it's your hairline and sometimes lace fronts and things like that can alter that um. So i think that part is super duper dope. I will say that you need some type of anchor to keep this baby on um, so it has the three clips. It has one right here, one right here and one in the middle, so i would suggest maybe having like a braid or something right here, that you can hook something into because you don't want this thing to slide back or slide off um the band, although it Is like nice to be able to strap it on together or velcro it i mean um, it's not it's, not enough grip on it for it to just stay like when my hair slicked back like this. If i pulled this, i did hook this clip in right here, so i'm hoping it would be fine, but i feel like if i pulled this, it was my back um because i don't have anything for that hook to anchor into if that makes sense. So if you wanted, like your natural hairline, like this, without having like the braids all the way up here, maybe like leave this part of your hair, unbraided and then braid the back going down and then you'll have something to hook the braids into. If that makes sense, and then you would just take your hair that you left out like whatever this is with like an inch or two out and then just throw that over your braids when you hook it in, i don't know if i'm making sense. I hope i'm making sense but like it will give the hair something or the cone something to grip onto so you're, not worried about it, sliding if that makes sense, um but yeah. I have a lil business that sells velvet headbands that you can wear underneath your wigs (or even scarves) that can prevent them from sliding back. So it’s keeping your wig secure and your hair edges in place. It’s literally a life saver! When my wig comes in the mail I’m definitely going to wear the grip underneath. BudgieChirp: You look beautiful, but I want to thank you for one thing; not making tons of baby hair swirling on your forehead. With wigs as popular as they are today and people can hardly tell if it’s yours or not, all those baby curls twirled in front gives it all away. I first make my baby hair very short and twirl it very close to my hairline. I then leave the sides a bit longer and I only swirl the first 1/3 of the hair with edge holder. The rest, I leave it loose to curt on itself. As I move further down the hairline to my ears, I allow a bit more length. But I am very care how much I leave out. I look at people with natural baby hair, like my bi-racial daughter and I try to imitate hers. She doesn’t have swirls all over her hairline. They are there but very little. She has more on the sides and on the nape. If people don’t understand, look at Meghan Markle’’s hair, how she only has a few short baby hairs laying in front. Of course hers is natural too. If baby hairs are what you want in front, my suggestion is very few and please, not all those damn swirls everywhere. They give you away for sure. Keep it as natural as possible with edge control on some but only a little on other. I don’t mean to offend anyone. Only giving advice to make your wig look even more natural.
