How To Install A Headband Wig | Luvme Hair | Thin Hair Edition

Hey y'all, so today i'm going to show y'all how i put on a headband wig. I got from love me hair. This is my natural hair, freshly washed. I do have a little piece of damage in the front, but i'm not cutting it off, so don't mind that and yeah. This is the box that it came in. I did get this hair um about a week ago. It came in at a great time, and i would say it probably took about maybe five days to come in so my hair, i'm going to go ahead and spray it down with some leave-in. This is a by cream of nature. It'S their argan oil from their argan oil collection. I'M going to spray that all over my head make sure i get my hair, nice and saturated and then from there i'm going to go in with the um argan oil, morocco serum. I usually use this as a heat protectant, even though i'm not putting heat on my hair, but i do still like the oil just to kind of get some extra moisture in there and that one curl in the front is really bothering me. But it's not getting cut off because then my hair is going to be super uneven y'all. I am growing out my hair. I cut my hair about a year ago. Well, almost a year be a year on may 25th. I cut my hair may 25th. 2020 um. I did like a um like uh. I forgot the name of the the haircut i had, but i had a haircut and my hair has grown out a lot as you can see. If you've seen my hair before it's grown out a lot. When i straighten it, it can go completely into a little paintbrush ponytail, so your girl is, you know, getting back into it or whatever, but i'm gon na go in and start parting out. My hair, you don't have to know how to cornrow, to do something like this, especially with these headband wigs y'all. Some people actually slick their hair back and put their hair under their wig. I personally can't do that, so i'm gon na go in and just do some chunky plaits on my hair and i'm using that cream of nature, moisture whip twisting cream. I believe it was um. I did show it again. I'M gon na show it again um once i get through once i get to the talking point of my video, where you're going to actually hear me talking, i'm not going to be doing a voice over anymore, but i'm just going in combing on my hair with A fine tooth comb getting those tangles out or making sure it's not tangled, and i'm doing some chunky plaits in the back. You guys i do have pretty thin hair. My hair is not thick at all and my hairline is also very thin um. It'S kind of been like that, since i was a little kid like, even when i look at pictures when i was about four years old, my hairline was thin. It wasn't this thin, but it was thin um, so i've never really had like a full hairline it. I work with what i have and i honestly think this is probably as good as it's gon na get, which i'm fine with as long as i'm not bald. So it's okay um, but i am most definitely taking care of my hair and keeping it clean keeping it. You know moisturized and all that good stuff. So i'm also i'm going through in the front and i'm just going to do two big plaits in the front. Um one on each side and i'm taking my wide tooth comb combing all that moisture whip twisting cream through my hair and i'm just going to go ahead and pluck those down and y'all can see. Y'All can see that my hair isn't that thick, because my braid isn't going to come out super big. My braid is going to be pretty small, it's kind of going to look like the ones in the back honestly, like that's how thin my hair is um. I don't really like to straighten my natural hair because it just it's it's not thick. You guys, like i don't. My hair doesn't grow super thick. So i just work with what i have and what i have is fine with me. So i did go in and paint my hair back with some bobby pins, just the ones that were hanging down low and the ones on the sides, the ones in the middle i just kept. I think i have about six braids in my hair and then from there i'm gon na go in with some oil yeah the wild growth oil. I use the light oil. I don't really like that. No, this is the heavy oil. Sorry, this is the heavy one. The light one comes in the yellow bottle. I use the heavy oil. I put that on my edges. I put that down my part and i'm also gon na drop some in between my braids in the back and just make sure i rub that in really good. I don't use this oil as much as i should, but i need to this is the box that it came in and it i was very eager to open it. So i opened it beforehand. As you can see, it comes with a little paper on top from the founder and when you remove that paper you it comes in the hair bands coming a little baggy but, like i said i was really eager, so i did open it up. But here are the hairbands you get about five headbands when you purchase this wig, all different colors really cute, and this is the wig. It comes in this cute bag. I love purple and gold purple and go over my colors for my 21st birthday for my theme. For my party - and it comes in this cute little iridescent bag, they have a couple things in there to give you two wig caps, um the nudish beige's color, and you get a head wrap for when you're doing like lace, wigs and they give you some bobby Pins too um and this card also comes in. It just has like the return policy on the back and also their um instagram and social medias in the little baggie. They give you a edge brush and you get a hair clip that says, love me. I think it i think it says, love me hair. Let'S just say love me, i can't remember i'll, show it to you in a minute and you get an elastic band now again. Elastic bands are not really something that you need for a headband wig, but they included in there. So you'll just have one here's how the wig looks when you take it out of the bag. It comes with a protective netting over it to keep it. I guess from frizzing or getting messed up and the curls come really defined you guys. So, whenever you order really curly hair, anything like between like a kinky curl or a jewelry curl texture, it all comes out like this, you have to brush it out. Do not put the wig on your head like this guys. It does not look cute. You have to wet it, you can wash it and brush it out that way or you can just put some water on it and brush it out. However, you choose next, i'm going to take my edge control and some got ta be glued. This is my favorite combination to use when i'm doing my edges when i'm laying my baby hairs whatever you want to call it. I realized that i didn't need the cap on to do this. I should have laid my hair down first before putting the wig on, so i'm going to go ahead and do that and you'll see the process. So all right guys. So i'm back um - and i have my edges laid next. I'M gon na go in and put my wig cap back on my head. While my hair is laid, and that looks really really good, um, just making sure it's secure it's down and it's pushed back enough. Honestly, i didn't pull it back enough, see: okay, there it goes so. I went in and pulled it back, some after actually re applying the wig completely and then realizing. I need to pull it back. This is me actually putting the wig on and you stick the combs in, and it kind of hurt a little bit and you're going to go ahead and stick those combs in on the sides. Get them underneath that um that cap and then you're gon na go ahead and put the combs in in the back and you're just gon na tuck that in and then you're going to snap the velcro together, you can make it as tight or as loose as You want the velcro, i would note, does not have much stretch to it guys. This wig was pretty not big for my head, but it was a little bit um, but it wasn't that bad. Don'T wear your hair like this y'all. It does not look cute. Please, don't don't do it, okay, so i'm gon na take my spray bottle spray it down. So i went in and i sprayed it with some water. I took it off my head to spray it with some water and i got it like pretty soaked. So i could detangle it and it got really really big. So now i'm going in and i'm just defining the curls with some of this um moisture with twisting cream by cream of nature, it's their pure honey line. Um, i'm not sure. If i'm going to use any of the curl activator, but this is from the pure honey line too, i don't think so, so i'm just going in and doing that. So this is the finished look. I was able to fluff it out. I even cut a little bit of it off to make it kind of give me a little bit of shape because it's all it was all one length, and i don't really like that. So i'm probably going to go in um and cut a little bit more layers into it, but for right now it looks cute. I threw on a shirt just so y'all can see. You know what it looks like now with that blue shirt on um. I ain't gon na stand up because i don't have a bra and the shirt is really thin, so yeah, but i like it. If you know me, you know, i like big hair. Big hair is my thing. You can put this in a ponytail, you can do half a path down. You can do. You can do a full ponytail. You can do a bun. I can probably put it up in a puff. This can just it can do a lot. Okay - and i love this - i love this so yeah go.
