Hey, loves!! It's time to get pretty with me again! If you own a headband wig then this is the video for you! I love alternating between hairstyles sometimes, like having my curls out one day but having straight hair the next. This tutorial will show how I rock a protective hairstyle before and after wearing my Headband wig. #underwigcare #underwig

Hey guys, it's emily creative gem back with another video and today i'm going to show you how i created this cute hairstyle to wear underneath my headbed wig. I love this look because it can easily be concealed underneath my wig and then i can wear it again. After i take it off want to know how i did this well, i'm about to show you so first, i'm going to start with some freshly washed hair. I shampooed it deep conditioned it and everything rinsed it out, and now i have this beautiful afro and now it's time to part it i'm actually going to part my hair into three sections, one in the back and then two parts in the middle. Basically, like a t-shaped, this t-shaped part is the foundation of a half up. Half down hairstyle and later on, you'll see why i chose this hairstyle: okay, okay, looking good! So now it's time to start the braids, i'm going to do two parts like so to create a braid, that's in the middle of my head, alright! So before i start braiding, let me tell you what products i'm using here. I have the shine and jam by magic fingers, giant brushes, coconut hibiscus, frizz, free curl, mousse and finally emerges style goals gel once those two parts are done. I'M now ready to start the braiding process. I'M actually going to be applying my shine and jam down each part and then also putting some into the hair. Any gel will do, but i like to use, sign and jam because it's good to braid with, and it also moisturizes my hair and doesn't break it off before i start to braid i like to brush down the hair near the part. This helps keep the braids, nice and neat, but also i might have to go over the line again to make sure the part is in fact neat in addition to that, i like to add a little bit of gel at the beginning of the braid as well. Okay, now all that is done it's time to braid, i'm taking my time with this because, like i said the slower, you go the cleaner, the braid, so in order to get a nice clean, braid, i'm taking my time. However, i did speed up this video because we would be here all day. Braid one is now complete, i'm going to take a color rubber band to keep it in place, but also to add a little bit of color in my hair. This part is honestly optional with the rubber bands, but i like to add them, because i feel like the braids last longer, when i do for braid number two, i'm applying the same process, i'm parting, the hair, applying the gel down the parts and applying it on The hair brushing it through and, of course, braiding the hair. The main reason why i chose braids this time is so that the wig cap does not look poofy underneath the headband wig. I also wanted to make this half up half down hairstyle a little bit more stylish with my natural hair. Braid number two is also complete. I'M trying to take a rubber band like i did before, wrap it around and, as you can see, i now have two completed braids for braid number: three, i'm repeating the same process. Braid number three is also complete and now i'm gon na finish doing the rest of the head in three two one: all the braids are complete and now i'm halfway through the hair style. I have one two three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine 10 braids all together, i'm going to take those 10 braids and clip them away. And now i'm going to start the back of my head by dividing the hair in half, i'm going to part the hair again into a smaller section and i'm going to apply. The emerge style goes gel to give my curls some more definition and i'm using the frizz free, curl mousse, as you can see here, which is also going to define my curls even more. I used two to three pumps of mousse and carefully raked it through my hair, because i want to make sure every strand was coated. I do the other side and boom brand new curls, what's poppin to jazz up even more i'm taking this color for orange scrunchie and wrapping around my braids on the top alright. So this hairstyle is pretty much done now. I'M going to do is sleep and let my hair air dry overnight here it is guys the final look, my half up, half down hairstyle turned out so cute and so colorful time for style number. Two, i'm going to show you how i preserve this half up. Half down style underneath my headband wig to make sure everything under the wig cap is nice and snug and smooth i'm going to divide my hair in half on the side. That'S divided, i'm going to braid it down. The braid doesn't have to be super neat because it's going to be pinned, i braided the other side as well and pinned the boat i put the wig cap on and then, of course i put my headband wig on this. Is the wavy headband wig from my first wig? Unfortunately, the curls are gone, but i still want to show you what this look looks like with it one. As you can see, you can't even tell that i have another hairstyle underneath and to get back to my natural hairstyle. All i have to do is take off the wig, so there you have it guys. This style is so easy to do, and i really love it because i basically can rock two styles in one week and of course it doesn't have to be this natural hairstyle. It can be any as long as it's nice and smooth and not bumpy, underneath the wake. So that concludes my video. I hope you guys liked it if you enjoyed seeing content like this, make sure you like, subscribe and comment down below and, of course, make sure you stay safe, stay home and wash your hands until next time.
