What'S up y'all, so i am back here in the studio with dj umu, dj umu and i'm going to be turning her beautiful two-strand twist into this vivacious red flip over wig with one curls so be sure to stay through the end. So you can see the whole process of how i create this look. So, instead of having her take down her twists to create cornrows or wig braids, i just decided it made the most sense to just braid down her twist to create two crown braids. This is the perfect option for those who are not well versed in creating wig, braids or creating a flat base, but they're mildly skilled in creating cornrows or twists. Here i am showing you the wig in its natural state, and i think it would look cute if i were to shape it to really fit her face. But we wanted to keep the length, so i went ahead and blow-dried it, but just talking about this right now, the colors i used to create this look were adore intense red and copper, brown and um. Of course it was previously bleached and with that being said, i want to point out that this used to be a u-part wig, that we turned into a flip over wig flip over meaning that she can wear it to the left or to the right or even Down the center, without her having to have any leave out and as you're going to see at the end of the video we actually did it to where she just has a bang. So she never has to have any leave-outs to blend the leave-in and heat protectant. Have already been applied so right now, i'm just sectioning it in manageable sections so that i can blow dry it straight and fun fact. This wig is made on a ventilated cap, which is great because it allows her to fill her scalp and just have circulations in her scalp if she needed to um. What are you guys preference? Do you like dome, caps or ventilated caps? All of my flip over wigs are currently made on dome caps, but i think i may make it an option to allow customers to have it made on ventilated caps in case they have that preference. This is where the fun begins, so i'm taking the exception and blow drying it. I personally like to start at the roots, because that's where the most water is and to me, i don't want to go over the ends too much, because the ends tend to dry quicker. So i want to definitely get the roots dry, at least to 30 to 50 percent and then i'll start moving the blow dryer all the way through to the ends all right now it is time to trim the ends and to give this wig a little bit Of shape all right, so i'm going to try my best to explain this as simply as possible. I am creating the bang portion of this wig and to do so, i'm taking a piece, i'm choosing two tracks at the very apex of her head, the top of her head - and i am essentially taking one piece from the front and taking it back and taking A piece from the back and moving it forward, and that creates a somewhat closure of the wig so that you don't see the tracks within the wig and when i'm done with that, i flatten it down with this one curl so that it kind of meshes together. It blends together, it doesn't look like like there's an exposed track or you won't see how the wig is not an actual lace, closure, wig or a full head wig. If that makes any sense before i begin one curling, i like to spray the front and the back of the hair, this makes the curls last longer and, of course, i'm going to place all the tools and products that i use in the description box below my Wand iron is at 410 and after i won the hair, i like to hold it not after, but i like to hold the hair on the wand for at least 20 to 30 seconds, possibly longer depending on the size of the section. Ideally, you should have clips to hold the hair, so it can cool within the curl form. However, if you don't have that just hold the hair, if possible, for about maybe five seconds before letting it drop so that you can get the longest lasting curl once you're done with your curls and all of them have cooled. It is time to now. Do the finishing touches of the hair, but before i show you the finishing touches dj umu has something to say, listen, say the wrap, you're about to say young spicy, yellow red. It'S the bed after umu has laid the bars. I decided to lay these curls in formation and give them a little bit of pizzazz and volume, and the best way to do this without adding too much frizz is to pull each curl individually individually and fluff them out all right y'all. Thank you for watching this video comment below and tell me if you could rock this look in red or black.
