Another Headband Wig Review + Style Ideas | Curlsqueen

Hey guys welcome back to my channel welcome back to another video, so today i'll be reviewing yet another headband wig, and this video is in partnership with the curls queen. So a huge thanks to them for partnering with me on today's video. So for those of you guys who don't know, i did recently do the big chop. I chopped all my hair off and have since been growing out my hair to get it to a healthier state and just back to what it used to be so heavy and wigs have just come in handy because i don't have a lot of options these days. My hair is like this short, so headband, wigs i've been wearing them pretty much every single day, so i'm extremely excited to be trying this one out, for you guys reviewing it and just kind of like see my thoughts on them. I think i'm a headband wig expert at this point, because i've just been wearing them so much and i really do love how convenient and easy they are to wear. Considering wigs are going to be my new thing for a while, i'm taking like baby steps. You know, because i'm not really that comfortable with lace and frontals and those kind of things yet so baby steps. So headband wigs are like the first thing that i started out with, and i've been loving them so curls, queen specialized in textured, clip-ins and wigs for women of color, and they just have different textures to suit your every hair needs or your hair type, which is Fantastic excited to just show you guys how i install and a few styles that i love to wear my headband wigs in and um so far, so good. The hair is super soft and silky a lot softer than the previous ones i've worn. So i really do like that it doesn't tangle as easily either it's beautiful. It'S natural and yeah just watch the video to see how i install and style and curl, and i really hope you guys enjoyed the video details to the hair, will be in my description box below in case. You wanted to check anything out and yeah. That'S pretty much it go, enjoy the video all right guys. So, let's get started. I currently have my head wrap on because i laid my edges a few minutes ago and i just wanted to tie them down so they can set, and i also have my stocking thing on my wig cap. So basically, what i do before i put on my head or band wigs pretty much every day that i wear it is just lay my edges going completely backwards. My hair is completely natural right now, so i do have to i do. It does require some prep. I have to put like my moisturizer in there then slick it back with gel and then also tie it. So it stays in place because my hair is now curly or textured, so it does require that little bit of like prep every single day. So i just do it before i do my makeup and stuff and that's pretty much that so onto the hair. The hair came beautifully packaged in this gold pouch here from curls queen, and it's just a pretty large satin pouch, which i really really love, because this is how i store my hair at night and or just store like additional things. They really do come in handy and um yeah. I just have the drawstring. They did send some additional goodies in here, along with the wig. So, let's see what's in here, i didn't even look yet so they sent me a stocking cap which is just two pieces here. Also important thing to note. I actually went ahead and ordered some black ones from amazon. That way, when i do put the headband wig up in a ponytail um, the stocking cap does not show, because i have noticed that there are times when the tan one shows - and i don't like that, so i just ordered one in black. That way i can, it can be better concealed, so yeah they sent me some wig cap, which will come in handy. You can never have too many wig caps. They also sent two headbands which are in here honestly. I don't see myself wearing these they're just way too colorful and would just not blend with my wardrobe, but i'll show you guys what they look like on regardless. So this is what they look like very colorful, and the final thing in here is just this little pamphlet. That'S just about the hair, so the hair, i have is 20 inches long. 150 percent, hair density, hair, color natural black cap construction is a headband wig and the hair texture is straight light yaki. So everything is here with the information of the hair, so on to the grand reveal here is the headband wig and i did dye mine jet black because, as you know, i love my hair super dark and even though it did come in a natural black color, It just wasn't black enough for me, so i dyed it so on to the way construction. This is the inside of the wig here so now, as you can see, the headband is all the way down here and the wigs go all the way back in the center. I'Ve never seen it like this before, but i'm excited to try it out. You know um, it has two combs on each side and one in the center and, of course, there's one at the back. There um it's in a size, small circumference, small and um yeah. The headband is just right here with the velcro strap, as you guys know, and then this is just basically the circumference of the entire wig so now on to application now, putting this wig on is super easy. It'S like one, two three. So what i'm gon na do here, i'm just going to put the wig on just aligning it with where it needs to go and i'm just going to reach under and take the comb in the back and just attach it to my hair in the back. I always do the back first. That way, i can just pull it forward. I guess so what i've done is just attached the combs on each side, one two three and now i'm just gon na go under with the headband portion, and it's that easy to install. It'S actually crazy, oh i'm so excited for this one, because it's so much longer than my other one. So it was like a little long, hair, vibe and now that the wig is on. Obviously this doesn't look very natural. So what you're going to want to do is just you're just going to want to take the headband portion, and i love the headband on this one. It'S so much more thin and just um sleek, which is amazing, so you're just going to fold the headband backwards and that's going to give you like a little bit more of a natural look which is just appreciated because with the headband down you're hiding your hairline. So it doesn't really look that natural and you can even pull it backwards, some more to reveal more of your hairline. Should you feel the need to, and then that's basically what we're working with right now it lays so flat. Do you see that there's no bulkiness everything is just super sleek, and that is nice, so now that the wig is on, you obviously could do your edges and lay them. However, you like i'm, not an edges person, so this is pretty much all that i do. Okay, so now i'm going to show you how well the hair curls and see how it curls again, i've never tried this hair before so i'm very curious to see, and also just show you guys, a quick and easy hairstyle for you to wear and also show You how it looks with the variety of headbands that i do own just for you guys to see how you can quite possibly switch up your look, but overall i really do love the hair. I love how soft the texture is first off and it just blends really easily. I do love the light. Yucky look and yeah - that's pretty much it. So, let's jump right into the hair tutorial do okay, so half of my hair is curled and it curled. So well and there's no snags or anything in here - i'm gon na comb it through in just a moment, but i wanted to like set a little bit longer. I am actually very impressed it's so it's light yucky, but it's like acting like a brazilian wave right now, like a brazilian, some kind of hairy. You know it's like it's not that coarse and i really do like that. I never realized how much i would really like it um, and it does shed a little bit you guys, but not like alarmingly, like a lot, but it does shed a little bit. We just want to add that in there here's a close-up of the texture with the curl, beautiful, beautiful beautiful. So now i'm just brushing out the curls for a more natural look. So pretty i love the hair. I love how soft it is. I'M actually very amazed. Um at how soft and silky it still is, even after the heat, very lovely, so that's pretty much it you guys very natural. I love how this looks. I love how thin the black band is. It'S really really really thin. I love that so much and um. If my hair was relaxed fail or like straight, i would totally show you guys how to like, take some hair out and like swoop it over. So it looks like it's not even a headband wig, but i don't have that much hair, so i'm so limited with the styles that i can do so that's pretty much it for the video i'm just going to share with you guys some really quick and easy Hairstyles that you can possibly wear your headband wig in for my simple girls out there and with that being said, thank you guys so much for watching this video and i'll see you guys soon.
