Foreign, hey guys welcome back to my channel. It is Brittany. So if you are new to my channel, thank you so much for stopping by and if you are a returning subscriber. Thank you so much for coming back. So if you're new to my channel, I do a little bit of everything over here: wig and hair content fashion, makeup, Vlogs, uh, home decor. I do a little bit of everything. So if that sounds like something you would be interested in, please consider subscribing okay. So in today's video I'm going to be doing my quarter three week favorites, I don't have a lot of wigs to share because I have braids for the month of August um in a little bit of September, and so because I don't have a ton of wigs On here I'm going to include some wig supplies and some natural hair stuff, because my natural hair has been thriving okay, she's been growing since January, so I'll um tell you guys about those products in this video. If you like my wig, I did put up a video, a review on this wig. This is utre Marissa um, so definitely watch that review. If you haven't watched it yet so we're going to start off with the first wig, which is Sensational UD 11, which I have a love hate relationship with, because the construction of the ponytail is terrible to me. It'S the comb on the ponytail part is not very beginner friendly. The Combs are very small and it's kind of annoying, but the look of it is gorgeous. So I have tried UD 11 and I tried ud2 in the springtime and I love both ud2 is a curly wig and it's not like a Yaki curly texture. It'S not like a kinky curly texture, so it doesn't. I can still make it blend with my edge control and stuff, but with UD 11 I like that it's more of a Yaki texture, so I don't have to you know, do too much to make it. You know blend with my hair. So I really like that. But but be warned, the uh ponytail is annoying okay. So next up I have utrecation. I did two synthetic half wigs with headbands and head wraps videos in September and you guys seem to really enjoy those and the people on my Tick, Tock and Instagram. So oh Trace location was one of my favorites. It'S a longer Yaki texture um, it's similar to utre Annie, but I like that it has like layers in it and it has like some bumped ends a little bit, so it has a little bit more. I don't know personality and interest to it than just you know what utra Annie has, but Ultra Annie is classic, but I do for first location over that one. So and it's really perfect for this time of year, because it's a like thick girl, longer khaki texture. Halfway so I also tried, I think it was Nisha h3o three, and that was really nice too, and that was even longer than slaycation. So both of those are really nice, but I think I would lean towards slaycation more um because it's a little bit shorter than the Nisha one. It'S really nice. So the next one is kalati. The kalai hair reddish brown uh kinky straight wig, so I sold one of these in my last wig sale, not because it was wasn't great. It'S because I had two of the exact same wig just from different companies. I kept the one from kalati hair and saw the other one that was from Eunice hair, just a beautiful texture. I love kinky straight human hair, wigs to begin with, but now they have the addition of the reddish brown, which is so perfect for fall, looks so beautiful and I think, in a couple of weeks I am gon na. Do some fall winter wig recommendations? I did that last year, for the first time it seemed like you guys enjoyed it and I like to lump fall and winter together, because I think it's like the same Vibe like the wig you wear in fall is the same wig. You can wear in wintertime. So I look for that video in a couple of weeks and I'm sure I'm gon na have that one featured in there because that's just fall Ready right there. So but I want to try some more fall, colored wigs, so I can, you know, put that in the video, for you guys. I have um the OMG, her hair curly, headband wig. I told you guys. I love headband wigs in 2020 in 2022, more than I did when they first blew up in 2020.. I like this one in particular, it's because, because I have a shorter length with this one, I'm pretty sure I just probably sprayed some water on it and put some. You know shea moisture, curling mousse in it and the curls pop it looks so pretty and all you have to do is gel your edges, down with some style Factor, Edge, booster or whatever edge control. You prefer put on a headband and it's a look. I will forever stand for headband, wigs because they're so uh universally beginner friendly for most people and they just look good with not much work so and one of the last wigs I want to mention is Janet collections, Jenna, that's another wig that I Revisited um. I have this series that I just started called: let's revisit and that's what I'm gon na call it. Let'S revisit, because I've done two I've done one on utre, kamalia and then Janet Collection is Jenna and I have the Jenna from 2019 that I originally reviewed on. My channel um and she still looks good three years later now. Did I wear her every single day in the last three years? Absolutely not, but have I worn her a lot? Yes, which is very rare for me that I wear a wig as much as I've, worn Jenna. That was one of my absolute favorite wigs of 2019. a lot of times. I don't like to glue my wigs down and all that stuff, like all the time and when I was recording my fall decorate with me, video for my kitchen and dining room, which you guys should watch I'll, have it on the info card. I wanted something that had like, like a natural texture to it, but I didn't want to lay any lace, so I decided to wear Jenna as a half wig. It'S you can wear. You can make any wig a half wig. I can make this a half wig. If I wanted to all you all I did was I jumped my edges down and then I put Jenna half halfway on my head and I Bobby pinned it and then I put on a headband and boom. We have a half wig, so I'm pretty sure Sensational has a half wig that looks like Jenna and I'm pretty sure it's Rainmaker and I have Rainmaker. But I have Rainmaker in the color number one and I never wear number one. So I accidentally purchased that when I was on Amazon in a number one, instead of getting a 1B or two so that one is super super cute. So that was all of the wigs that I wanted to mention in this video. But let's move on to some of the natural hair stuff and just hair products in general, so I told you guys if you've been watching my Vlogs or just you know. Listening to me, since January, I have been on like a holistic Wellness Journey with mental health, with my natural hair, with like weight, loss and stuff like that. So and I wanted to do a holistic Journey, because what, if you were so hyper, focused on your your hair or uh losing weight and not your mental health and then you couldn't really enjoy it, because your mind wasn't right. So I wanted to do everything more holistically. I have never been good at taking care of my natural hair ever, which is you know, which kind of birth to this channel, because I was like, I really don't know how to take care of my real hair. So I'm going to wear wigs and it caught up with me, especially in January. My hair was super thin and unhealthy and damaged. So I did some research and I found this natural hair stylist here in South Carolina she's in Easley, which is like 45 minutes away from me, and she has helped me get my hair on track. So I'll show I'll show some footage of what my hair looked like in January. It was in bad shape now I'll show it looked like a few days ago. It'S a lot thicker and a lot longer. So I am very impressed with the very impressed and proud of you know how much my hair has grown and and a lot of you guys. You know when you guys see me wear my natural hair, like when I'm doing ponytails and stuff like that you'll be like oh, your hair's grown, and it's because I've used some of these products that she recommended to me. She actually did like a analysis when I first, you know, started coming to her and she made me a PDF with with a healthy game plan for my hair, so with my hair type um, the hair needs for me, my hair goals and products that I should Use for my hair type, so I think she said I have low porosity hair so these products - these are some of the products that she recommended for me to use and I have been using them ever since January, so olaplex system, I really used to think olaplex - Was only for white women, but it's not true. It'S for all hair types, including ours. Okay, so she told there's a lot of different olaplex items, but she told me to use Olympics three for the shampoo and five the conditioner. I actually did that yesterday yeah. I actually did that whole thing yesterday and she recommends for me to wash my hair once a week. I can't go a super long time without washing my hair, because my scalp is screaming when I do that, it's very sore, sometimes I even develop like sores and stuff on my scalp. If I don't wash my hair probably once a week - or at least you know once every two weeks or something like that, so some people can go longer without washing their hair. But I can't really do that um, but the olaplex items can be expensive, like 28 dollars a bottle, but I I mean it's working for me. It seems like my hair likes it, and she uses that at the salon, and I use it at home when I was doing my research on natural hair and stuff and what natural hair stylists say like yeah, I go once a month for her to. You know maintain my hair, but you have to maintain it at home. So if you're not keeping up with your maintenance and stuff at home, you know it's not gon na, you know grow and stuff, so my hair is doing a lot better and I'm really proud of the progress and she does my sister's hair as well, because my Sister, I told her about like her doing a healthy game plan for me and sending it to me and everything, and I would highly encourage you to go to a natural hair stylist that understands hair and not just like wigs and stuff like that. Even though I love my wigs y'all know, I love my wigs, but if you are wanting, somebody to you know really take care of your hair. You might want to go to a professional um, because I'm not a professional. That'S why I don't do uh hair on my channel like real hair on my channel like natural hair, because I don't know how to do it. Okay, I stick to what I know so, and I also want to preface this by saying: I don't have any medical issues or anything it's just. I have lack of knowledge and now that I've been, you know, being taught a lot about my natural hair. I'M excited about it like wash days, aren't so daunting. It takes me about an hour to do my natural hair and it's gotten thicker too. So I try to keep it at an hour and I'm gon na start doing it, probably every Sunday um or, if I'm really busy every other Sunday, so also she recommended the my L Rosemary mint oil, so um. This is a continuous flow spray bottle. She told me to put some of that oil in a bottle and dilute it with some water and spray. My hair, like every day, to give it some moisture. I do that do I do it all the time. No, but when I take this wig off, I'm probably gon na do that, because I just washed my hair yesterday after I braided my hair down and after I washed my hair and braided my hair down yesterday, I did put that in between my braids. So, there's that I also wanted to mention my Felicia Leatherwood brush. Now I have this in Black in a bigger size, but I don't ever see the bigger bigger one that I bought two years ago on Amazon. I always see the mini ones now, and I use this one as well. It'S like one of the best detangling brushes, I've tried um and it doesn't break because I have you know thick Type 4 hair and I need something. That'S sturdy, so it bends with your hair highly recommend this for natural hair, and I also use this for my kinky curly wigs. I also want to mention the Revlon dry brush. I used this yesterday, along with the olaplex and the Maya oil. I was washing my hair and letting it air dry in braids and she told me you need to make sure your hair is completely dry, so I'm not going to be letting my hair air dry like I was so I wanted my hair to be completely dry. So I use I use my Revlon dry brush and um. That'S how I got my hair stretched enough to braid it down and Gladys and Cameron Monet. They put me on to that like two years ago, and it's been, you know really nice to have in my Arsenal not only for my natural hair, but also for my thicker textured synthetic wigs to kind of tone them down and kind of thin them out. A little bit without actually thinning them out so um. If you have Anisha wig from 2019, you probably want to get a blow dry brush to kind of tone it down a little bit because those wigs were very thick. And lastly, I want to mention the Amazon head wraps, so I have been talking about these head wraps a ton. Okay, I featured them in my braided, I in my braided styles, video hairstyles video and I featured them in my headbands and headbands and head wraps videos that I had on my channel last month. They are, I think, it's a good deal. You get nine of them on Amazon for 40 bucks, nine of them for 40. Bucks is pretty reasonable for me, and I like that it has such a variety of solid colors. Now I do like head wraps to have Prints, but I do like solid color head wraps as well to kind kind of jazz up an outfit or bring some interest to it, and they have a lot of different color varieties on this. One listing that's everything I wanted to feature and my quarter three wig favorite, but I also wanted to mention some wig supplies and natural hair stuff, because I did uh when I did my UD 11 video, my get ready with me video. I did have a few people ask about um like how my natural hair Journey was going with getting it healthier and everything, because it does visibly look. You know thicker yeah, so those are the products I've been using there, but keep in mind. Everybody'S hair is different. Everybody has different health issues and stuff like that that contribute to your hair growth and genetics and all that stuff. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends and family, and I will see you guys in the next video bye guys, foreign
