Diy Turning Any Half Wig Into A Headband Wig! No Lace, No Leave-Out, No Combs!

It'S all venus here and today we're going to be doing some half half and half we're going to be making some headband wigs out of halfway. If you don't recognize this all time, beauty and favorite by outre, this is annie. It just me or were half wigs like made to be had been wigs like i am the more i'm looking at this, the more like i'm in love, yeah, like the volume, it's just everything, and i love how comfortable it is. I can just move and be mean cute and chill out and because there's no columns, i don't have to worry about my edges, disappearing on me and having random, bald spots in my head. Just know that under this i want well moisturized and soft hair, while my hair be soft. I want my roots to be manageable. I don't want them to. I want to do better. I want to be better so, with winter coming up. We need something convenient because quarantine's, a beach, okay, that's not gon na work, all right! All right! I need to take a break. You can wear something like this um. I don't know. If i have any examples, let me see oh getting straight into it. I have here annie behalf wig from outre she's, a kinky straight babe halfway. So in order to wear her, you would have to wear your natural hair out. She has combs in the front and in the back and straps adjustable straps in the back as well. I'M just going to try her on to show you guys what she looks like with the comb still in. We are going to be removing the combs for a flatter appearance when we put the elastic band on so i'm just going to go ahead and put on a headband, so you guys can see what it looks like with the headband as well. It doesn't look too bad. You can totally wear this out, just as it is straight out. The package just put it on and slap on a headband as well, and it looks pretty good, but oh yeah, that's not acceptable. This is why we're going to alter this halfway in order to make it uh more comfortable and easier to wear, so we are going to go ahead and alter this wig now to make it into a better headband wig. So we're going to start by taking out the combs, i tried to use scissors, but it was better just to use the small razor. So i went ahead and i cut out the combs in both the front and the back. This way nothing is pulling on my edges or snagging onto my braids, which can cause quite the discomfort throughout the day. I much prefer just having the security of the elastic bands to secure the wig on my head, especially if you are wearing a wig cap. You can't really use combs if you're wearing a wig cap, because the combs can't go through the wig cap from here. I'M going to slide the wig onto my wig head, making sure that it's aligned from the back and the front and pinning it with my t-pins with an elastic band that i got from amazon description or link in the description box down below i'm just going to Measure out the elastic band to about 18 inches, which would stretch to about 23 inches on my head for a comfortable and secure fit. I am going to cut a piece of string and thread, my first weaving needle i'm just using basic weaving thread and some weaving needles from a package or a set. I also got off of amazon. This all came in the same weaving set. I will be leaving the link in the description box down below. If you are interested, you can go ahead and check that out um, but i'm just going to go ahead and weave these needles. I like to have all my needles weaved in the very beginning, just to make sure that i don't have to be interrupted so with the flow of sewing. I don't have to worry too much about going back and forth with cutting and scissors and thread. Instead, i can just continue on sewing, which makes the process a lot easier and a lot quicker. Oh me, yeah now that i have finally gotten in this needle threaded. I am going to line up the two sides of the elastic bands making sure they're lined up together, so i can sew the two sides together, just taking the same needle and thread i'm gon na be going back and forth. It does matter what type of stitch you do, but it doesn't matter that much so if you are not the best sewer, your technique doesn't matter as long as it is secure and it will last you, the duration of you wearing the wig.
