Headband Wig Tutorial L Braided Bun Headband Wig Ft. Her Diadem

Hello flawless beauties if you are interested in learning how to create a braided, headband wig stay glued and we have a surprise for you so stay glued to the end of the video, because we have some gorgeous products to review. So, let's jump right into the video. We are going to be using the cornrow cap from make your own wig, and this is what the wig cap looks like. I decided to use this one because it's going to prevent any spacing from happening when we create this crocheted headband wig. No, it comes with adjustable straps. I just used these when i had the cap on the mannequin head, but on my own head i did not adjust these. I just placed them neatly away because it would have made the cap too small for my head next up. We'Re going to need some velcro; this is, i think, a half of an of a yard, but i used about three inches to two inches of this, also going to need you a needle and a thread, and this is weaving needle and thread, and this is the Brand over here that i use, and the number of packs that i used was just two packs additionally you're going to need you a scissors and your crochet needle so placing the wig cap on the mannequin head here. I'M showing you the pattern of the braid all right so where we're going to apply our crochet braids is right between hair from the underside and then we're going to join these two braids here together and we're going to repeat this on every single section. So we're joining together the two braids and then we're going in between joining together and going in between. So let me show you what that looks like so taking my crochet needle i'm going under that loop there connecting my crochet braid closing that needle pulling that here gently through you may need to use a little bit of strength here. Sometimes so. Just take your time with it, then i'm going to open up that needle head again collect the end of that braid close that needle head and push that crochet section that loop up to the head of the needle and pull that braid through. Then i'm going to make sure that when the braid comes nice and tight, that that loop is nice and flat making sure it's nice and neat simple and easy boom. Now here i'm showing you i've done a couple before so here, i'm showing you how it will lay so it's going to lay in between the spaces so that the actual cornrow of the wig is going to hide any extra space in all right. It should look like that when you put your hair up in one now, let me show you how to combine the two braids together so you're, going to take your crochet needle pick up one end of that braid and go into the other end of the other. Braid connect you, your crochet braid close the head of that needle and pull straight through. It'S going to be a bit tighter here. So just take your time, then we are going to drag that braid, nice and gently through collect the end of your crochet braid hook. It up to the head of the needle needle close the head of the needle and pull the base of that crochet through release your needle and pull that braid with your hand, making sure it's nice flat and neat simple. It is simple awesome i like to make sure i have at least three braids together, so i can see where the braids are going to fall, so here i'm showing you that i'm just collecting three three braids together um, so you guys can see how i like To visually so i'm just using a hairpin to fasten the um middle section of these braids, together onto like the the color they had so yeah. This is what we are looking like. Now, i'm going to go ahead and repeat these steps. So here i'm just fastening. The adjustable straps to keep it nice and neat on the head of this mannequin so we're to the back of the wig cap. So when you are crocheting the back of the wig cap, the back is much different from the front in terms of the cornrows. So just keep your braids as neat and as close as you possibly can without overdoing it, okay, because it doesn't have as many braids um to hide the spacing at the back of this wig cap as it does the front. Alright, so just make them nice neat and close together here, i'm just showing you once more how you can attach your crochet braid, and this is also showing you how close i am placing these braids together and, as you can see, to the right of this wig Cap, i've already done a majority of them, so this is what it's looking like so far. So now i'm going to place my hand into the direct center of the mannequin head and i'm going to gather all of these braids together in the center um. Why? I'M doing this is not necessarily to uh put it in, one will be the same part of barbados, uh uh, so as to take it off and put it on my head. No, this is for me to see you know where i may need to add another braid, because i want to see where these braids are laying um what space is being shown and so on. So this is the reason why i am putting this in one here. Are a ponytail uh which will be, i guess, a familiar term face so right here needs um a crochet braid and i found some other spots as well that are in need of a crochet braid. So all in all, i used every single braid from these two packs. This is just a loose um, one or ponytail, as well as you guys will call it um. So here you, as you can see, there's a bit of a space that i can put another crochet braid, and so i'm going to go ahead and do that make sure to take a look at your space to see whether it is a space where um you Would need to join the braids or if you can go underneath the loop, so just follow the same pattern right around and that is in real time. So you guys saw how quick it can be done boom there. You go e z, so we're just searching for some more spaces and we're going to go ahead and fill in any spaces that we find so you're going to take your headband and cut it. If you have a seam cut it close to the seam, my headband did not have a seam, so this is what it looks like after it's cut now i attached the velcro and also neatened the edges of this headband. All right now pay close attention to where these are so. The rough side is, on the left hand, side on the inside, and the soft side is, on the right hand, side on the outside. It'S imperative that you do this all right, ladies and gents. I'Ll explain very very soon boom. Here is why this is how it's going to wrap around the head all right, so the rough side is about three inches and the soft side is about two inches. This is how you can adjust it, and this is the reason here, because the soft side is going to be touching the braid, so it will not disrupt or fuzz your braids. Oh, if you put the rough side on that side, it's going to attach and pull all of your braid making them fuzzy very, very fast, okay. So this is how the headband looks so with another piece of that soft side of that velcro. I'M going to cover the rough side all right after i've covered that i'm going to take it and flip it and put it not to the full length of the back of the cap. But to half the width or length of the back of the cap. And i'm going to attach it above the crocheted or not of the crocheted here all right. We'Re attaching this with a weaving middle line. Thread. Take your time with this, so i'm going to take the remainder of the headband now and just pull it right around the mannequin head and secure it by opening up that side that has um the rough side of the velcro and just securing it right there. It'S just to hold it yeah, nothing major boom. Now that we have that we can go ahead and sew the headband on to this wig easily without having to hold that headband. Remember we're going just above these crochet nuts once completed, make sure to fasten your thread. Um, by giving it two nice knots after cutting in make sure it's nice and tight and then just remove that excess thread like so, and that is it you're done, pull down, that's a head. You can feel free to release it, but remember if you're going to wash this wig and someone please remember to put back that um piece of velcro to protect your braids from being attached to that rough piece. I am telling you from experience: okay gorgeous goody, so this is what your headband wig looks like. If you feel free uh, if you want, you can feel free to use different braids and so on. Take all that protective velcro attach the actual velcro and you are good to go okay gorgeous if you recreated this wig. This is what you will have i'm going to give you. I don't know like a 180 as much as i can turn so you guys can see how the back and everything is nice and close up. There'S no spacing. Even if you get a little bit of space in you are not it's not going to show like that, because really and truly because you have the braided cap, underneath it's not really going to show like that. So if you have a small space, if you have a big washy space, it's going to show okay, but just make sure your spacing. Is nice and neat as you are crochet and you are good to go.
