I Tried A Headband Wig! | No Glue, No Lace, Beginner Friendly

Hey guys, it's jaden welcome back to my channel, so i know i'm looking kind of crazy right now, but i just washed and deep conditioned my hair because i'm about to do a headband wig. This is my first time doing. A headband wig like i've, tried to install a big one myself before but does not go well, but i saw these all over youtube and i was like this is something that i can really do myself. So i washed my hair with the niche sulfate free shampoo. This shampoo and i deep conditioned it with the mish, indulge moisturizing deep conditioner and i love this stuff. Their products make my hair feel so good, like my hair feels so nice and, as you can see, the curls are still like really defined right now and all i have in it oops all i have in it is the lavish leave-in conditioner also for me. So i'm just gon na be using all the products today, so i think what i'm gon na do, i think, we're just gon na brush my hair back into a really low bun. That'S like really tight, because i don't want to part. I think it's gon na mess it up so to do that, i'm just going to use the miche curl defining cream, because i really want my hair to moisturize underneath this and i don't really need crazy hold because i've been under a wig, so yeah, i'm just Going to do that to prep my hair for the wig and the products from me, let me just tell you have a lot of slip like the deep conditioner. It'S amazing and like just look how easy my tangle teezer is gliding through my hair, all right. So now it's all brushed back, i'm just going to squeeze out some of the excess product. I usually don't use a towel on my hair, but yeah for just squeezing yourself out. It'S fine for me, okay, so i squeezed out a lot of the excess product and now i'm going to put the balance curl defining cream in there to kind of lay it down. I'Ve actually done slick back with this before and it wasn't like crazy hole, but it definitely still works. So i don't even mind because it's going to be under our wig, so i'm thinking kind of a lot get my edges first and now i'm gon na get my ends in the back like the nape in my neck area. So all that's on. I'M just gon na brush my hair back into a very low and tight bun, and now that my arm is super tired, the final step is use a bristle brush just to really smooth it all right. So now this is smooth enough for me: i'm just going to tie it off with a hair tie and then i'm done with that, i'm going to create a really really tight bun all right. So here is my little bun. I'M just going to leave it like that and i'm just going to go tie my hair down for, like i don't know, like 20 minutes, just to let it kind of step before i apply the wig on all right. So i just want to show you guys that i put the scarf on, but i didn't put it directly over my edges because later i'm gon na pull out my edges to have like some baby hairs. So it's not just like smooth forehead. When i put on the wig but yeah right now, it looks pretty good and i'm just going to wait like i said like about 20 minutes half an hour honestly, i don't know how long i saw them back. It'S been like a good half hour. I just got ready for work, so i have my scrubs on, but i'm ready to apply this wig i'll leave all the way details down below it's from icy hair and i think it's the kinky curly and 22 inches but yeah. I'M back to my edges. I'M just going to do light edges right now, then i'll like perfect it once i put the wig on and see like, what's really going on for real, so i'm just going to use my edge booster as always and a little edge brush to give me some Baby hairs, i think i'm just going to do just one on the side, because i like how that looks all right. So these are the edges that i did for now, i'm about to put on the wig. This is her. I wet her down and i put the same products i put in my hair, so leave a conditioner in that little cream, so yeah, i'm about to put her on we're gon na see how this goes so this has like a black band around it. This is the bottom part and i hope it stays in my hair, because i saw this one girls, video and she was like it - didn't really stain her hair when she just had it slipped back, so you have to put in braids all right, i'm just going To tie this up actually because it's kind of hard to put on right now when it's all out all right, so i just tied it up. I'M trying to secure this to the best of my ability, all right guys. This is the wig. I put it on honestly, it does not feel the most secure, but i'm just going to work, so it should be fine, it's kind of cute i like it. Let me just show you guys the bag, so i can see also for myself, there's like a bump. I think my edges look good, like this looks really natural. It really does look natural. I think it needs like some layers to give it some volume, because right now, it's just kind of flat and dead, but yeah. It'S cute, though i think, should i add another headband with it. Let me see. Another headband looks i'll, be right back all right, so the wig actually came with like three headbands, i'm gon na add this headband. It'S just like a tie-dye, color and yeah put this on all right. So this is how this headband looks with it. I think it looks really cute. I actually like it better with the headband. Doesn'T look so obvious, but yeah, i'm gon na just fix my edges. A little bit because it had been like these look good, but i just want to reinforce them. At least the good thing about this wig is that i can take it off at night and like sleep comfortably and then easily put it back on the next morning and redo my edges, to make it all look fresh, i'm trying to decide if i want to Do baby hair in the middle? Let'S see, do i want to all right yeah, that's cute, oh my god hold on pick up the camera. This is how it looks. I think it looks really really natural, like nobody can tell me this didn't come from my scalp, but yeah. This is so cute. Okay, i actually really like it now. I just think i need to cut it and shape a little, but as of right now i really like it. I think i'm going to wear this on thanksgiving and just i like it so yeah. It wasn't really a tutorial more just like my first headband experience, but i might redo this again a little more in depth for you guys, but i really like this, so i can get into headband wigs regular weights, like i've, had a fencer before for prom with The front so sew-in and i just need to be able to get to my scalp, so i like this because i can easily take it off and put it back on no glue.
