The Most Natural Headband Wig From Neflyon Wigs | Kinky Curly Texture | Lazy Girl Approved

Hey guys welcome back to my channel. This is stephanie nicole h, if you're new here welcome. So today i am doing another hairband wig review, so this unit was actually sent to me by me fly on wigs and it came in this beautiful, pink bag and today is going to be a kinky curly unit. I'M super excited about this. So, let's just open this up, so this is the box that it came in and inside the box, the unit in this bag, this headband - and this is a tube headband. So i'm excited to see what this looks like. Also, this silky headband a couple of clips edge brush and then also just a thank you card with all um the hair care tips. Okay. So as far as the unit i'm going to go ahead and take this out and this unit is 20 inches long color is a natural black color. So probably like a 1b, i would say so here is the texture just straight out the box close up so standard construction on the unit, three coats on the front, so two on the side, one in the middle, the headband piece also comb in the back and Adjustable straps, so i already have my hair molded. So for those of you all who are new here, i have a pixie cut, so i really don't have to do anything to my hair. Just put a stocking cap over it. So let's go ahead and try this baby on all right guys. So you have seen me: do this a million times so i'm just sleeping this wig on my head and placing those combs through my hair in the front and then also placing that comb in the back through the nape of my hair and i'm just going to Fluff out that hair just a little bit trying to see what it's looking like and now i'm just attaching the headband piece in the back with the velcro alright. So this is the hair just straight out the box, so it is very kinky and but, as i'm running my fingers through it, i'm only getting like a few pieces of hair as far as shedding. So i do want to go ahead and put some water on this unit and um, maybe some mousse, or something just to see what these curls actually look like and then we'll get into some styles. So here i am just trying to wet down this hair. I'M spraying it with my water bottle, trying to get it as wet as possible, but with this kinky texture hair is really not absorbing the water as much as i would like it too. Now i'm taking my argan oil foaming, mousse and applying that to the hair. As well as you can see, this water and mousse is really not defining the curls, but it is fluffing the hair out to give that natural, fluffy, kinky texture, and now that i have the mousse applied, i'm just going to comb through with my detangling brush that I purchased from amazon, i'm definitely going to put a link down in the description box below so you can check it out. So here is what this texture is looking like with water mousse and a quick comb through so now to some styling. So first style is going to be just a quick flip over so separate it on one side and flip it over to the other. So next style is going to be the same flip over, but just on the opposite side. So, just separating the hair on one side and flipping it over to the other. This next style is going to be two space buns up top, so i'm just separating the top portion of my hair into two sections and then securing those two sections with elastic bands. At that point, i'm going to twist the hair around into a bun on each side. Next style is going to be a half up, half down so just taking the top portion of my hair, securing it with an elastic band and there you have it half of half down so with this next style. I'M just going to twist that hair from the ponytail around and secure it with a black rubber band for a top bun with the rest down. So with this next style, i'm just going to take a bobby, pin and secure the hair down on each side. For a different look of just wearing the hair down, so now i'm just going to try out this tube hair band that was sent to me. So i'm going to put it on as a headband with all of the hair down and now i'm just going to pull that headband back, which gives a totally different look. So now i'm just going to throw all of the hair to the front and pull that headband up in the back and kind of gives a fluffed out updo sort of kind of look. So now i'm trying out this silky hairband that was sent to me. So i'm just pulling it around the back of my head and tying it in a bow in the front and, lastly, i'm just going to secure the hair in the back of my head with an elastic band for a low ponytail, alright guys. So, let's get into the specs of this unit and then i'll talk about how i feel about this hair. So first, let's talk about this head wrap. I absolutely love this and i know this can be used as like a neck gaiter or a um a mask as well. So it's basically a two in one, but i just love this look again. The texture is kinky curly and this is 20 inches long. The price for the specific length is 189.70. They do carry lengths that range from 12 inches all the way up to 24 inches. It'S 100 virgin hair, which means it can be straightened. It can be dyed. It can be washed all of the above um 150 density, which i would say is like a thousand percent density and that's just because this unit is extremely full. This is the most natural headband unit that i have ever tried, and i am here for it. So if you have natural hair, this would blend right in if you're thinking about going natural. This is a perfect unit to try if you have been natural and it wasn't for you, but you are thinking about going back. You could definitely try this unit as far as shedding it did have some shedding when i was combing through with the water and the moose, i will say this unit. Water and moose is no match for this unit whatsoever, like, as you can see it's already back in this natural state. It really doesn't have a defined curl pattern, but i am thinking about doing like a twist out on this. Just to see you know how this hair holds up to that, and i'm probably going to do that towards the end of the video, but this hair is going to be my go-to for the entire month of february for black history month. I mean this makes me feel like a goddess like a lioness like a queen. This hair is it. I guess that really gives my opinion on how i feel about this unit. Like i love this texture of this hair, it is very pretty it's a very natural and very believable, like i'm pretty sure if i go somewhere today with this unit on people will definitely think this is my natural hair and the length is 20 inches. I think this would be pretty as a shorter length or a longer length. I just think it's so perfect. It'S just the most natural hairband unit. Right now that i have ever tried do i have any cons on this. The only con would be the shedding aspect, but natural hair sheds and it mimics natural hair. So and it is a lot of hair on this unit 150 density, so you have some hair to spare, even if it does shed quite a bit. So i mean that's not really a negative for me personally. As far as the cap size cap size is very forgiving, so in case you have a lot of hair that you need to put under this unit, or you have braids that you need to put up under here. You will be perfectly fine also as far as the versatility of this unit. You can pretty much do whatever style you can think of. Since it does mimic natural hair, you can do any kind of natural style you can. Think of. I want to just give a close-up and appreciation for this texture. It is giving me motherland vibes and i am loving it. I am here for it. I am going to be back because i want to do a twist out on this, so i'm going to do a quick, co-wash and then twist up this unit and let it dry overnight and then i'm going to come back at the end of the video which Will technically be tomorrow to show you the end results, hey guys, so i'm back! This is day two. So here is the unit. It'S been drying overnight with these twists that i put in last night, so i'm gon na go ahead and try this on and take out these twists and see what this twist out looks like. So if you're wondering what that is on my head is a silicone headband, it's a non-slip headband, so you actually do not have to use the combs on the unit when you have that on i'm going to put a link down in the description box, so you Can definitely check it out. I purchased it on amazon and i'm just using some garnier fructis anti-frizz serum and just putting a few pumps in my hand and running that all through the twists and now i'm just untwisting the twist and once i have all of the twists untwisted i'm going to Separate each twist into two try to say that two or three times so, as you can see, this hair did very well being twisted, which means it can also do well with being braided for a braid out or a rod set or flexi rods or even blown Out for a silk press - and this is all because of this texture so - and this is just me going over - making sure that i have every piece separated right guys. So here are the results of my twist out, so i am in love with this. This unit has so much versatility and it's all because of the texture of this unit, so i do want to say if you're looking for more of a curly defined unit, this is not going to be what you are looking for, this unit mimics actual natural hair. I want to say, like a 4b 4c kind of texture, it's so natural, looking, no one would be able to tell you. This is not your hair, like you cannot tell me right now. This is not my natural hair, it's gorgeous, so they hit the nail on the head with this texture, i've seen a lot of kinky curly textured headband units out there and they all seem a little more on the curly side rather than the kinky side. This one is actual kinky curly hair, so it's amazing it's gorgeous, so i highly recommend this unit two thumbs up for sure, so that is it for this unit.
