Why Haven'T I Tried This Until Now?! | Different Ways To Style A Headband Wig | Julia Hair | Ch

Welcome beautiful people i am Chev b, welcome back to my channel for today's video, we'll be styling this unit from julia here on aliexpress and the hair that i got to try on, for you guys is a blonde highlight wig and yes, girl. It is a headband wig, so i'm just showing you guys what the wig looks like straight out of the packaging. So it is indeed a body wave wig and i'm just running my fingers through it to you know like test the shedding with the hair, and all of that i wasn't getting any shedding with the hair, which is a plus and the hair is full. So, first things: first with headband: we you already know we got to do the soup. Do you do you know we got ta, put them edges together, um, you don't necessarily have to do your edges, but because of the texture of the hair - and i mean my hair is natural - you know what i'm saying, so you don't want to look like my Edges is still in jamaica and this wig is from china. So i need to make sure that my edges are slicked back. So what i'm going to do is i'm using a edge control. She bomb edge control. You can use whatever edge control works for you and then we're going to create a little bit of edge soup to do type of situation. So i'm just going to style it i'm keeping it real simple, i'm not going to do any extra swoops. You know just two one on each side: keep it simple and balanced, and then i'm going to install the wig what i love about headband wig. It'S super convenient to use, so it has um about four combs in it, one on top one at the bottom and one on each side, and it comes with the adjustable wig band straps on the inside. So you know to get the wig super fitted so um your hair doesn't fall to the floor, just because you don't want to say so. You got to make sure that the hair is fitted. So i'm just gon na remove the hair like lift it up, so that i could make sure that i tighten the band as best as possible so that, like the back part, doesn't stick out and make sure that it is fitted properly. So once i adjust the actual band of the wig, i'm just gon na push it back just a little bit so that you know my hair in the front. Like the lining, you know just blends it blends and looks nicely so um. This is how the hair is looking um, so i got the the idea to just do like a maybe a side swoop - type bang with the hair. So i'm just going to try different things like you, guys probably saw in the beginning of the video. So i'm just taking this wax this flyaway teaming wax and just smooth down the hair in the front so that it could like be an easier process to do this. Now this looks harder than it look. This was harder than it looks for some reason. I thought this was going to be super easy, but to get the hair to stay in a certain angle took some time and some patience, so i'm just trying to do like the side. Bang thing you know like try to make your headband wig super versatile, because that's the thing with headband wigs, you can literally do anything with them and they're super easy to use. So i'm just going to like try to knead it up, try to get it in the position that i want for that side banging situation. I didn't even sure if i like it that much but now looking at the video i'm like okay girl, you should have just worn it for a minute to see how it looks so, as you can see, i pull it up because i'm like i don't know If i love it or if it looks tacky or ridiculous, so i'm just gon na leave the hair down for a minute. You know until an idea comes to me now. The second style that i went with was a half of half dome type of style. So basically just get half of the hair at the top and then just get a hair tie or elastic band or whatever you have to put the top in one and then i'm gon na take a little piece of the hair and then wrap it at the Base, you know just to create a nice ponytail and also to hide the band of the hair. So this is my second style with this wig and then i change my mind once more, so i'm gon na switch it up again and i just went with a high ponytail again using some of the hair to hide the band of the hair tie and yeah. This is the look that i came up with. I like how free-flowing it is. I love the color. I love that loose curl unkept. Look like i'm really digging it.
