Imho: Drag Queen Wig Tutorial

The third today we are going to play with some art of wigs, so our twigs, it's based on Chicago. They hooked us up with three wigs. We all get the same way. We are very special colors, okay, y'all, look away because I will show you what's up product, this one's Dixie's color. Obviously this one is Alexis's color, obviously, hey yeah, this one's me. Okay, tell me tell me now: okay, I got the Matilda and pumpkin. I can tell that in titanium vodka, I am thank you, not Spanish Brown, they winning or just we're gon na be sprinkling this episode with as many tips and tricks. As we know, we are not professionals, I'm not a professional, but I have played with a lot of weights in my time: okay, all of mine and 90 % of Dixie's. So I do know a couple of things that I find helpful number one. Is I used to throw these little nuts away all the time? Why are we using worth it? I think it's just to keep the lace flat, not brick, yeah. Now you most of my wigs yeah celebrities, wigs. This is just like a detangling brush. I got this one I was on. I love it. It it's really good at detangling and smoothing, not smoothing but just like brushing through. I also have my little apron because I'm lazy and I really hate bending over when I drop for teasing this is a spore net. This is the little wonder. I got this one Amazon. It also comes in something called a big wonder which looks like I got their big big girl. Alright, this is what I usually use, but I can't find it right now, so I'm using the little guy yeah you can this one? No, you just like wave it over the wig and it immediately jumped two sizes big. This is what integration use and it's amazing. It'S also good for smoothing and then from is cracker. I just want. I just learned: you just use one of these little rat tail. Combs and that's for the set out at the end, I'm gon na section off the front portion and just worry about that later: the top middle, that's what I was going to do, yeah and then I'm just gon na put it put it over here. I have a little clip, I'm just gon na put it here and like we're gon na worry about that later. Well, I got ta get my clip and then also the two sides down to the ear you can grab whatever you want. Imma grab. You come here, but just like the side, all the way down, you can kind of see where the lace makes it appear on both sides, and I'm just gon na move this out of the way I'm gon na worry about this. Later again, I don't know this is how you're supposed to do it. This is just how I'm doing it, then you just take. So this is the back half I'm gon na tease all this, so it goes like this well Walt um. Usually the end of your brush and it okay like a like a straight line, that's rate so for new baby Queens people try and drag for the first time. You don't know how to do anything they're, so pro tip brush it you've heard of the term shake and go. Don'T don't need us go to Russian and put like a put a hat on it whistle blows yeah version. Yeah the thing that I love about this brush is brush right after they're after you just have to use this, but you go down down down, but then you pull it out away from the wig, and so it crinkles it all down to the base. And then it separates it. I don't know if that makes any sense instead of that one little curve. Now it's a whole little flip and doing that way you can do better sections so, like what I like to do, is I like to do rows so I'll? Do this and then I'll go this, you know around yeah, don't just small section! I'M gon na do a little bit of a wider section like take the width of your brush. You just go down down down down down and then you pull towards down down down down down pull. Sometimes you just go down pull. Sometimes that's all you need to do that's to get it really high and then, if you want to get even yeah and there's also the angle, something that helps me to angle at which you put your brush, you don't want to put it flat inwards. You kind of want to tilt it so you're catching the outer edge of your brush, like oh yeah, yeah, I'm done so. What I like about this is you've already got it going up all thing: I you just take it and pull pull these up. You can see what I'm saying so, instead of uh, so instead of seeing this map, you separate it and it makes like a fan account, but only family. Oh, so you don't even have to go down that down. You can just go in and out in and out like this, I'm like yeah subway and then same for you. Do you see how this is beautiful? You'Ve done this. This is what you did down there to get that now. That'S what I do when I get home! Oh! Oh! Okay, I forgot to mention this is gon na pump it up, but I put it in a different bottle. Cuz, I'm like that. I can't do that. Spray right is the pump it up bolt spray this in your cheesing. Let it dry, you could even use a blow dryer it hardens instantly and it makes it a helmet yeah, and then this I think, if you're a drag queen, you know what this is. This is good for, like spring flyaways, a FPS rage, that's cockroach spray right. There now I feel, like I've, really learned what I need to do to make a professional wing, but professional professional, I'm happy for you, so this is I'm just gon na come very close to my face. I think it's very important. Also that's what's really important. Is that all of a sudden, your back is fighting you don't know why? Now you can do this without looking at it now you mind if I prefer, because I feel like I'm about to get hit in the teeth. Yes, then, you just do a lot of what I'm doing. I think mine was just like a very clear path, like Cleopatra style, blunt bang, like Jessie J. A lot of she goes if I give you $ 5 yeah after you've done all the teasing. I just take the ends, and I just kind of brush them with my detangling brush to kind of get it ready for when we smoothness again. This is just my homosexual opinion. Yeah, you just kind of brush the ends and then because you don't want to mess with the teeth, you don't want to you don't to brush the teeth out. This is one of the scariest video really cleared it up. For me. Take you to this guy and then smoothing all it is, is just running like the very tippy tip of the ends of the comb teeth of the comb you're just gon na run it over top, like barely even touching, like a whisper like just barely touching, and Then you kind of its like putting him in place. You don't want to dig deep down in you just want to like just graze, and sometimes you use the end to kind of. If there's like a big loopy like this one, you can pull that through and then you just go over and this takes the longest. I think because you want to do it and then not have everything and while you're doing it, if you do feel like you're kind of flattening it out, you take the end and you push to be like use your just, not so smooth and shiny. I left a layer out oh yeah, yeah, but then I think you just kind of work with it, and this is where I'm still figuring out work. You I'm still figuring it out like as I'm going down, I'm kind of like valio yeah like this one already has a bit of a wave in it. For me, it was finding the correct brushes to use once I found that spoor net, because I used to just use. This is called a rat tail teasing comb. I used to just use and just pack it all down and that just creates like gnats. So for me, it's less about packing it all down, but using that special brush to like you kind of compact it. But then you pull it back out, so it kind of locks itself into this waver fan, and I got that from integration, so finding the right tool for you watch all the videos all of them. I think that another common mistake people make when teasing is that they try to do it themselves. Just get you an Alexis yeah, it's a lot of work like making sure she stays alive because she does a lot to put herself in danger. But if you can keep her moving, you've got a good teaser hunger. Yes yeah, you know. If you didn't tease enough, you just go right back in there with your little TZ beads, and you just tease, tease, tease so that you can always have more.
