Hi everyone Aaron here from real wig fun. So today I'm going to take a look at one of my very first long styles that I ever tried when I first started wearing wigs. So obviously this isn't a new style, but this is John renault's Alessandra and I have it in the color Laguna blonde, so stay tuned. So you know what I'm thinking back to two and a half years ago, when I first started thinking about wearing alternative hair and trying this hair on for the first time you know coming from somebody that has never been able to grow my hair. This long certainly never had you know the fullness that you get out of this piece to me. It was a bit shocking, but also exciting right. I was like oh my gosh. I can actually have hair that I've always dreamed of. So I was really excited to review this one and revisit this because I haven't had this style in some time, so this wig is from my friends at wigsby, Patty's, pearls.com com. You can find this style and any of the wigs that I wear at wigsbypattiespirls.com. So you know what, as you can see, Alessandra is a long layered style, it's really quite beautiful, and for somebody like myself that could never grow my own hair like this. It was really quite exciting to try this style on. For the first time, two and a half years ago, so Alexandra has an average size cap. It'S made out of synthetic fiber, it's not HD, so you can't apply any heat, but I will tell you that this particular color Laguna blonde has been one that I've sort of fought with in the past and for me it's a little bit too warm, but the Other thing that I wanted to share with you is that, prior to doing this review, I did spray this style with a considerable amount of dry shampoo, and the reason why I did that is because it had a bit of an unnatural shine. Now that is due to a coating, that's put on these fibers. That number one helps the longevity of the fibers, but also helps as it gets delivered over to you. So as you wear this wig as you wash this wig that shine will temper. But for me I wouldn't wear it out of the house looking as shiny as it did right outside the box. So if you're the same way as myself take a little bit of dry, shampoo and spray, the heck out of it to get rid of that shine. All right, why don't I do a turn so that you can see Alessandra on all sides. So clearly, this is my front. I would say the density is reasonable. It'S medium density, in my opinion, I do remember when I put it on two and a half years ago and I did think it was a lot of hair, but that was really just because I was so used to having very fine brittle hair myself. So you may find that yourself when you first put on a wig, even though it's reasonable density, it's typically going to feel like a lot for you if you're used to having thin hair like I did myself. Okay, so here is my right side, side I'll step back, because it's so long and the back my left side and then back to the front, as I mentioned earlier, Alexander, has a lot of different layers within it. So this first section, if you will call them the bangs, are eight and a half. The crown is thirteen and three quarters. The nape is also 13 and three quarters and that's where you're getting that beautiful length from and then the sides are ten and a half inches and all together, Alessandra weighs 5.3 ounces. Okay, why don't I get up close so that you can see this hairline on Alessandra now one thing that you may notice that I'm seeing as well is: I can see a little bit of that lace, so it's not totally undetectable um and I think the hairline Is done well what I like about it is: do you see some of the irregularities to me? That'S just more natural than a hairline, where you have that u-shape that perfect u-shape that, frankly nobody's hairline is as perfect as that. So we'll go ahead and take Alessandra off, so I can show you the inside of her calf up. Okay, there is a good amount of stretch in this cap. It'S very comfortable. I have a 22 inch circumference head and it's fitting me perfect. You have the full monofilament top okay at the top here and then you have the lace front that runs into the ear Tab and that lace running into the ear tab really helps to create a natural transition from the lace section to the ear tabs, which I Really like that cap feature, and then you have open wefting on the sides and on the back felt covered ear tabs. It does have metal stays and then an extended nape, which is another cat feature I really like with the velcro adjusters. So I have not adjusted this out of the box. This is where it came, but if you have a smaller head than I do, then just pull these in and then, conversely, if you have a larger head, I do believe that this could fit somebody with a 23 inch. Circumference head really quite comfortably all right. So let's talk about this color Laguna blonde and the code is FS: 24. 102. S12. So the S12 refers to the Shaded rooted uh color, which is a 12 root, and then the base of Laguna blonde is a gold uh brown with pale natural gold blonde blend. It'S a mouthful, isn't it at the end of the day to me it is a light blonde that leans on the warmer side. You definitely do see some of these Golden Tones in Laguna blonde. So you know what there's lots to love about Alessandra. I think it's very beautiful, but at the end of the day my one concern about this style is the synthetic fiber. It'S feeling a little bit coarse for me. Um, I, as you know, typically prefer synthetic HD fibers because typically they feel a little bit more fine and a little bit more lifelike than what I'm feeling on Jon renau's Alessandra. So I hope you've enjoyed this quick look at Jon renau's Alessandra in the color Laguna blonde stay well and stay safe, bye, everybody
