white girls can wear wigs too

All right Abbi, you ready for us, wait already the society so we're gon na do this away from courtier's boutique. The hair is also from as well what's up guys. This is Corey Jay from core Jay's boutique and today I'm coming to you all with a wig install on a white girl. Yes, we're gon na have some fun so continue watching, so we can get right into it. So the first thing you're gon na see me doing is braiding her hair. Someone cut her hair, too short, and that is the reason why she wanted this wig. So, as you guys can see, I kind of parted her hair into two sections. I'M braiding the front of it down and putting rubber bands on it and then I'm taking the back and I'm gon na braid that as well before I put the cap on so just keep in mind that I did do a two part. Braid method. As you can see in the back right now, it's not braided, both by the time her cap is put on. It will be braided in the back. Okay, so notice. The color of the cap that we're using definitely definitely definitely use the lightest cap, which you can find on a Caucasian woman, so that it can resemble her scalp and look very, very, very natural okay. So this is a step that you don't want to miss. So everything from this point is pretty much standard. We'Re gon na do the ballcap method as usual, using the gossipy glue spray we're gon na. Let that harden and dry take it off and apply the lace, as I usually would on any other woman. So this is another important step, just make sure that you use the person's foundation so that it can match their scalp as much as they possibly can. If I would have used my own foundation, it would not look like this this way. It looks very, very, very flawless on her right now, thanks to her foundation and that ball cap method so make sure you guys definitely use their own foundation for that. So in this step, I'm gon na do it just how I usually do cutting the frontal into three parts so that I can kind of apply it in three parts. Just to make sure that when I am applying the lace that everything is becoming glued when you try to apply the glue across the head at one time for me personally, that doesn't work if it works for you awesome. But this is what works for me. So just make sure you guys cut the lace in three parts and then apply the glue also in those three parts I usually start with the middle, and then I go from one side to the other until everything is glued and intact, just like I like it. So, as you can see after I apply the glue, I ask my clients to help me hold it in place, while I blow-dry it completely dry, just to make sure we don't have any lifting afterwards and that her install is flawless and looks as much like scalp As we can absolutely make, it also keep in mind, while you're watching that idea to use multiple layers of glue, I'm only showing you guys one because it gets repetitive, but I did use three layers of glue every time I applied so after making sure the blue Is dry and everything was in place? I went ahead and cut off the lace. I hope you guys can see that I'm not cutting her hair straight across that I'm like twisting and twirling my scissors so that everything can look natural, not sure to cross at all, because this is a Caucasian woman. I felt it was very, very, very important for her hair to be melted like to the gods, because, if not, it will look very Wiggy and we just did not want that. So just pay attention how I'm twisting my scissors and not going short across and then even afterwards, I'm going back in with some glue and making sure the very edges of that lace is completely down for a very, very, very flawless. Look. The last thing that I do before the baby. Hair is no matter who you are, what color you are what size or race you may be the hot comb, my best friend, I always always take the hot comb and smooth that hair down. So we can look as natural as possible. Now this satin rises from 4js boutique. Of course you can shop, Corday's, boutique calm for the wig or the set of wrap, but it is a holy grill for me to keep the edges down. So, as you guys can see, I'm Juan curling her hair really fast, just it's not about the long curls. It'S about melting, this lace! Okay! So if you want your melts hit lace to look like this make sure you purchase a set and wrap from Cory. J'S boutique calm and also a wig from Cory. J'S boutique, calm, let's get into the edges, so, as you guys can see, I'm doing her edges pretty normal. If you want a more detailed baby hair tutorial, I do have one on my page. You can look at it there, but I'm kind of going through it fast, just because I've showed this a lot a lot of times, I'm using my same method on her as I would anyone else to make sure that her baby hairs are flawless and her looks Like scalp, so here are the finished results of the baby hairs, the melted frontal and almost the curls. I want to thank you guys for watching just make sure that you guys subscribe and shop for gaze boutique comm, follow us on social media at Quarry. J'S will teak that's Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Thank you guys for watching and I'll see you next time.

Chelsea Irving: As a white girl who has hair loss at 26, I'm trying wigs for the first time. You are an angel thank you for sharing this with us edit: thanks for so many likes!!! I've never had this many. I feel blessed and at peace I'm not alone on my hair loss journey. y'all are still beautiful even if your hair isn't as thick anymore ♡ love y'all

Amy Walker: I love how you didn't judge a white woman needing a wig I get stares when I ask for help lol... My hair is falling out as I get older :(

Briahna: She’s very pretty and I thought her short hair looked bomb af on her. But it’s always nice to be able to switch it up!

Tiana Doolin: THANK YOU SO MUCH. It has been so hard to find "white girl" wig help!! Totally totally appreciate the tips and tricks!!

RealIsRare: The look on her face when that first cornrow was laid...she understood the phrase “beauty is pain” . She’s very pretty.

Jeanette Merryfield: I recently shaved my hair due to chemo and starting to try out wigs. This video is really helpful to me and I just want to say thank you so much.

Amber Cole: As a white girl with extreme hair damage and loss, you are a BLESSING! Still not confident enough to do this on my own but I wish I could!

Jessica Ann Youngblood: This is very nice! I have a question. After braiding, gluing the cap ect. How long will it stay? Should you remove the wig every evening? What do you suggest to keep skin integrity and the longevity of the wig? Thank you.

Mileetn: KoreeJ what an awesome job! I loved watching your technique. I wear lace front wigs but if I lived close to you I would love to have you "work" on me. Fantastic job! For everyone that thinks there aren't that many women with hair loss or really fine thin hair, trust me, there are lots and lots. I belong to several groups on FB devoted just for that. Also I am wearing a front lace wig in my profile picture. Stop stressing and buy you a wig or 2 or 3... Just be careful, they are addictive and you will soon be covered up with them! The only regret I have about wigs is I wish I had started wearing them sooner.

Laurie Solis: I've always wanted to have this done! It's such a hassle dealing with my own hair. This just always looks amazing!

TeQuila Buckhanon: Woah! The install was incredible. Love seeing the diverse videos we ALL love to switch up our looks . Keep up the great work!

xo love Annie: Hey girl! Thank you so much for this. I'm a stylist and I install a lot of wigs! The twisting cutting method is great thank you

Lauren Weaver: I'm going through chemo and I'm totally lost when it comes to front lace wigs but this video was so helpful! thank you ❤❤

Kaylaa Natalie: No judgement.. however, in my personal opinion.. baby hairs should look natural. Plucked & cut & not around the whole head.

Beautiful WoodsII: You did that miss lady looks absolutely flawless I love how you melted this lace oh my goodness absolutely gorgeous you a bad mamajama hands down you go ahead gorgeous and thank you so much for sharing this video and showing your methods truly truly appreciate it and you gave her a whole new look. Compliments her face absolutely love it you the bomb%

Cathey McKinney: I wanted to see her hair completely done! I love watching these type videos. ESP since I have lupus and it took my hair. It’s growing back but left lots of bald spots I wear a hair topper but really been wanting a wig to look natural. Maybe one day. You did an amazing job on hers!

dana mai29: Used this video for my first wig installation on myself today thank you amazing!! I have been using weaved in hair extensions at my favourite afro Caribbean hair shop in my area the lady there is amazing!! Black girls have such a talent with hair. Mine doesn't look as good as this but I would say unless your a wig wearer you wouldn't know. My only question is I have some excess glue I need to remove on my head I'm a little bit sticky haha

🌻 Alexandra Imani 🦋: I fuck with the inclusivity. Also, I thought her short hair looked amazing on her ❤️, but this is why it's nice to have wigs, so you can switch things up when you feel like it.

Kimberly M: I'm white and I've never thought about getting a wig before I saw this video. I want a wig now mad skills!!

Megan Kendall: THANK U so much for sharing this video!!! As another clueless white chick, looking to educate myself on the world of wigs due to hair loss. ❤️

Xgamer437: Thank you so much for this! I’m white and my hair has thinned so badly from medical issues that I finally did a big chop. My partner encouraged me to try wigs and I love them. I want to make sure I’m not appropriating anything tho, and I try to shop local and seek out advice from stylists that do installs and extensions regularly and properly.

Caitlyn Lewis: Thank you so much for the inclusivity. As a white woman, I almost feel like I have to have a "valid reason" to want to wear a wig, like alopecia or hair loss. I don't have any kind of medical condition, my hair is just thin, fine, and extremely difficult to style. It doesn't hold volume or curls or anything. I am not confident at all in my hair and it's an extreme insecurity of mine. Thank you for showing that it's okay for a white girl to get a wig simply because she wants to.

TAROT, DREAMS & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN: That 3 section technique makes a big difference and you did a very neat job with the glue I got zero anxiety watching lol. Nicely done ✔

Crystal C: Just wondering, do you do this every day or do you keep the wig on for days at a time? that's a lot of work for one day!

Veronica L: Gorgeous, great job! Love the transformation.

Amanda Bailey: thanks for the video- you did a great job!! How long can the install be worn for and is it multi use? How can you install the wig again after the lace is cut off?

Key Alameer: I’ve gone into four ethnic salons to have this done and they were rude or laughed me out. One had a girl that picked up a tiny pinch of my fine hair and said no I can’t do nothing with this.

Jetcitygrl Jewels: Beautiful job. I watched the 2nd install of a wig on a white girl, first. You mentioned that you did not put as much product on for the baby hairs on that one, and, that you felt you made a mistake here. I think it still looks really nice and that you are an amazing artist, who does incredible work. I am a white girl with long hair. I also have fine-medium hair. I have always wished that my hair was thicker. It is nice to know that I could achieve this with a wig or extensions.

Charlotte Knutsen: Thanks for the informative video. The wig you applied looks completely beautiful and natural. New subscriber!!

Rachel P.: I love your glue/doing it 3 sections technique! I’ve seen that method before! ❤️

Kim C: That's truly an art. It looks awesome & she needs to be a model

Brandee B: Thank you for this. My hair is damaged and I lost 14 inches from bleaching I've been looking into a wig because I miss my hair so much.

Misty Wells: Thank you so much for doing this!! Finally a video on how to do it right!

anabel gonzalez: You did an amazing job. Love it.

Bucket, Charlie: I'm ab to be rockin a 24" wig on Halloween and have never installed one before. This was helpful, thank you.

Erika America: Looks very naturalGreat job and I love the way the baby hair looks, the way it makes little swoops looks nice

Trish R: I can’t believe I watched that whole thing and no finished look

dogiit1: I've watched three or four of these you're beautiful with or without the wig but you are definitely artist and I can't believe the trouble you go through to make your hair beautiful

Cecilia Kirby: I have never known about this method. Awesome work! Looks totally real. Thank you for sharing!

Davina Banks: I’m sure the finished look probably turned out nice but to all of you watching this who are new to lace wigs DONT EVER PLACE THE LACE GLUE BEHIND YOUR HAIRLINE ! YOU WILL HAVE NO EDGES!

Raven_🧿_Still_Rise: Thank you for doing this and teaching others how it’s done you área true talent STATUS!!

macpduff: Wow. Thank you for sharing this. What a fabulous job you do.

Loving Life with Destiny: Love how you explained everything! New sub!

Anons1 Sefcik: Great job, looks beautiful. Wish I could have sen the finished product with style..but it looks amazing

Amanda Whitney: I have recently gotten into wigs over the last month. I personally couldn't imagine putting a wig on that I can't take off after my experience with them. I get such bad headaches from my wigs and particularly from the small tight caps . The second I get home I get so excited to take it off.

Raven: I have looked everywhere for something that looks realistic on a white girl, and this is the first thing that I have seen that gives me any hope at all. I've lost most of my hair and would love something like this, but I have absolutely no idea where to have it installed, or how long they last, etc. Thank you for sharing!

Zingergorl Leigh: I used to have thick hair but now between chronic illness and medications hair loss is my life. I wish I could get a wig install, as I cant keep my arms up thT long. This is AMAZING

Anna Pennington: First of all you're an artist! Second I came across this randomly. I really enjoyed it I always wondered how wigs worked when they look so natural. This is just the neatest thing. Like I said you are an artist.

Yaya Doll: Thankyou so much for this!! I have a Caucasian client soon and didn’t even know the type of tips I should’ve been aware of before hand!!

Elizabeth von Hillmann: Thank you for this post. My hair is thinning and I am considering this. Being Caucasian I was unsure about lacefront but glad to know it’s an option. You are kind and sensitive to her situation. Peace ❤️

Fran Bihary: I dunno how I got here, but I am hooked. You have magic hands. Love watching you work. You make it look easy when I am sure it is not. I don't think her choice of hair suited her, but you are an artist. Bravo.

teresa hall: Thank you!!!! You just made my day! I’m a white girl that wears wigs! You have the best video out there!!!!

Brandie Lee: I just found out the meds I had to be put on for my heart condition can cause my hair to thin. Ive worn lacefronts for cosplay but with my hair possibly going to thin, I'm heavily considering a wig full time. This is lovely of you to do. ❤️

Anthony Mathon: you left us hanging, we didnt get to see the final look, great work anyways!

Ingrid Stowers: Best wig install..i learned a lot from watching. Thank you!!!!

Melissa Pantuso: Yes this is amazing!!! We need to be wearing wigs too!!! It’s a lot of work... but it looks sooo good. I want some wig love

Celia Hardwick: Wow you did an amazing job. Beautiful!

Meemaw Diana: Sooooo very helpful!!!! Thank you!!!

Melissa Petzold: Thank you so much for doing a wig install on a white girl!!!!!! NO ONE around me knows anything about wigs...so I have to search the net. So happy I found your videos!!!

Lisa Herrera: Beautifully done all the way around.

sweet Mik: Beautifully done..great technique

BooBelindaBoo: OMG I love this I wish I lived near you to get my hair done. AMAZING! <3

Terry Beter: You did a great job with that wig!!

AnAhitA Nazari: Girl you are an artist on this method Thank you

sasha: Very helpful! I want to start wearings wigs as my hair is thinning out and is just looking lifeless and tired after bleaching it a few times without going to a professional will deffo come back to this video when i’m applying it!!

Sonja O: Holy crap this was the most helpful wig video I have seen. Thank you!!!

Rachel G: THANK YOU!!!! My hair is falling out because of meds, and I'm seriously considering shaving my head and using wigs. But I've not seen clear instructions on how to do it for "ehite" girls, and I wasn't sure of there would be different needs. Thank you!!

Melanie aponte: I don't think all the baby hairs looked to good maybe like two would've been fine

Lilleypod1925 H.: She looks beautiful without the wig, especially after you braided it. She has a very pretty face. Young girls are so self conscious and it really sucks that they all go through that stage, even I did! I didn’t realize how pretty I was until I got so old it didn’t really matter. And now I don’t care what people think. You are very sweet and professional. You do an excellent job! ❤️. I’m white and I’ve always had this frizzy natural curly hair and I would like to have a wig that I could just where in the summer when the humidity is so bad, I mean I can smooth my hair to look fabulous and step out in the humidity and POOF....it’s all over. I usually keep a hat to wear, especially at night when it’s even worse. I just wanted to say you do great work and I think you’re awesome! ❤️✌! Good luck in your business. I was also wondering where your located, I’m a travel nurse and I would totally come see you if you happened to be in a town or city I was working in. Maybe you could email me if you don’t want to put it out there. I’m currently working in NYC. So please let me know. Thanks

Lisa R: That was awesome! Definitely got some skills. Would have really loved to have seen the actual fully completed hair do though

Andrea Hood: You did an amazing job!

Chantelle661: Absolutely love your video!!! Wish we could've seen an overall reveal! But still looks so beautiful

AndraLa Kiera: Thank you for posting this it’s very helpful and educational

Jessica Hill: Her blonde short hair is so cute on her! I mean she’s gorgeous either way...but shorter was cuter js lol!

Mia Zanchen: I’m very impressed with the work of your stylist!

Melissa Petzold: One more question...what can we do to help prevent our scalp from itching with an extended wear of the wig? I have a healthy, not dry scalp but it get so itchy right around day three.

Tabatha Gibson: You are amazing. I love your professionalism. Her hair looks great!! Yours is also gorgeous.

Billie Jo France: This is so cool! How long does this wig stay on? How awesome!

BLiNGyourALARMclock: She is gorgeous! Great job!

Sunrise5: Wow, that was amazing. A true hair artist can work with any type/texture of hair.

Jen P: Thank you for this!!! ❤️

Suzette Lawes: So nice to see people get along... BTW her hair looks very nice

Liz Shaw: I am a caucasian woman, and I don't have very pretty baby hairs that frame my face. Whenever I've seen an African American women wear this look, I thought it was so beautifully artistic, like every detail was perfectly executed, right down to the baby hairs. The swirls remind me of Picasso, right? I guess I am surprised to hear that people don't love it.

Mimi B: Thank you for this video! Nicely done!

Jazzy15: A lot of work done beautifully by this woman for her.

Leila Candee: So you are absolutely amazing at installing a wig i wish u could achieve that look when I install mine your a super star girl☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I love Christmas: Hey! I wanted to see the outcome of the full style after it was curled! The color was rich!

Makeuphairjunkieover40: Wow! That is amazing! Question, how long does this stay on? Days, weeks?

Soul of Songstress: How long does the whole process take? I am losing my hair due to alopecia so might have to do this almost everyday

Mom Of Many: Dang..wish we would've gotten to see the end of the look but I already can tell you killed it.

Elizabeth: How long does setting the whole look takes?

Maria Devic: Fascinating process to watch, you are really good at your work. I wish we had hair artists like you in Croatia. Stretching those laces evenly over the brow and ears must take some practice. Does it give a temporary face list too

Celi Keli Rodríguez: Girl you did a great job holy hell! Man that looks so good.

Alora Joelle: How long can you wear these? I’m new to looking into this due to hair loss :)

Raewyn Brown: I love the artist that made this happen, her hands are magic, she knows ♥️♥️♥️

Makeuphairjunkieover40: Wow! That is amazing! Question, how long does this stay on? Days, weeks?

Misti Hopkins: How long can you wear the wig after glued down?

Hilliary Barbour: The edges were slayed! Why didn't you show the completed result? We want to see the final look... you finished work!!

Heidi Stump: Your an angel ! Thank you for doing a video for all us pasty gals out there !!!

Cris tian: Baby hairs like that make it look wiggy even on brown girls. I wish there was a method that did like small scraggly baby hairs that dont need to be jelled down that help mask the lace. I have one unit like that but the hairs did that over time.
