I've been wearing this wig for weeks so it was time to wash it and remove it and get fresh braids. I hope this video is helpful to you guys! Oil-based adhesive removers are 10x better than using rubbing alcohol because you're not drying out your hair or skin.

Hey guys, so I'm just going to give you a quick video on how I remove my lace, frontal, wig and don't forget to check out the video on how I actually installed this wig. So I'm just pulling all of my hair to the back. So I can get a good visual of my hairline, so I'm going to use the c22 solvent. This is found at your local beauty supply store. So I'm just going to start spraying this around my perimeter on my edges just to actually soften up the adhesive and the glue that we have on the hairline make sure you also have a cloth or towel or anything handy and I'm grabbing some cotton rounds. And I'm also going to use this salon Pro wig adhesive remover, I'm just placing that on the cotton round and at first when I was doing this, I realized that it wasn't really doing much. I wasn't getting much product on my hairline. So later, you'll actually see me directly applying the salon Pro adhesive remover directly to my hairline instead of using the cotton rounds, so you'll see that in just one second, so I found that this method was a lot better to actually remove the adhesive. So I'm just applying this to my hairline, the exact same way that I did for the c22 solvent and this product does run. So I'm just getting my rag and I'm just cleaning up around the edges where it ran a little bit down on my face and I'm also massaging this product into my hairline to soften up the adhesive. And you can honestly apply as much as you need. Just to make sure that you're not pulling at your edges and I'm also going back and forth with the salon pro and the C 22 solvent. So I'm going in circular motions, but I'm not dragging my hair when you do drag your hair and twirl your hair around in circular motions. It does create bald spots, so I just recommend just to hold the rag and then move in circular motions without exactly moving the actual hair. So here you're just going to see me attempt to try to lift up the lace. I am NOT pulling this hard. I am very gentle and if it doesn't lift up like I want it to right away, then I'll go back in with the c22 solvent and the Salon Pro adhesive, removers and I'll repeat those steps and then I'll try to remove it again. I don't want to tug at my edges and pull those out, so I'm being very careful so after spraying that c22 solvent on. I did wait about one to two minutes and then I'm going to try to lift the lace once again and I see that it's not budging. So I'm going to repeat those same steps with applying the adhesive removers and then we are just going to try again to actually lift the lace up. You see right there, it's actually pulling at my skin, so I don't want it to do that. So I'm just going to gently tug, it should pull off exactly like it just did, and I cannot stress this enough, but please please, please be very gentle with tugging your lace off of your hair. You want to actually protect your edges and not pull them out. So just make sure that you're, actually tugging very gently and you're not actually ripping it out or pulling it way too hard and I've seen a lot of people use rubbing alcohol to remove lace, glue or lace adhesive whatever I don't recommend doing that because it does Dry out your skin, so I would recommend using this oil base these oil-based products instead of using rubbing alcohol because rubbing alcohol can actually dry out the hair as well. So once Thule starts lifting up, I'm also going to apply some of the adhesive remover underneath the lace onto my skin as well. You you so right here the lace was attached directly to my hair, so I'm applying some of that adhesive remover directly to my hair and then I'm just gon na. Let that sit and then I'm going to try to pull that off and I'm also applying the c22 solvent as well. So, yes, I did have a wig cap on, but apparently it got stucked on to the lace. So I'm just gently removing that and notice how I am still letting the wig cap sit on the spot where it was stuck to my actual hair, because I'm letting that solution kind of dissolve in soften up the adhesive and voila. It came right off so to remove the rest of the adhesive, which is the ghost bond of glue. So if you hear me saying adhesive, it's just the ghost bond glue that I use to apply the weak, so I'm using the Salon Pro adhesive remover to just remove the actual glue. That'S left over around my hairline there's still some stuck in my hair. So I'm using that to just remove it and the best thing about this product is that it is oil-based. So I'm not drying out my hair. So I have taken out my braids and did a mini blowout, I'm taking this black, castor oil, and I am applying this directly to my edges, and this is just to help my edges grow out more and then I'm just going to grab this small comb and Just smooth that Jamaican black castor oil throughout the parts of my edges that I want to work on and that is it you guys I'm going to repeat the same thing on the other side, so you guys don't forget to like this video.
