Life Update! Getting Microloc Extensions + Going To Dental Assisting School

Hi everybody - i am back with another video and in today's video is going to be a life update, so i know i haven't really been posting often on the tube um. So you guys don't really know what's going on with me, you know what i'm saying you guys don't see me in my mom's vlogs anymore um. So you really don't know. What'S going wrong with me, but yeah? That'S why i'm making this video, so i can do a little life update just to update you guys a little bit what's happening, okay, so first things. First, first of all, i had to rush not rush home, but i wanted to beat the rain um because it's looking like it's about to storm heavy, so i'm in florida. If you didn't know - and it's been raining like i mean it - rains like every day around the same time and it happens to be around the same time. I get off work or school. So anyway, i had to you, know, hurry up and beat the rain. So i can get good lighting for my video. You know what i'm saying: youtuber things um, okay anyway, but uh. Let'S talk about first things. First, the obvious, the the obvious, almost change, so i did get micro, lock extensions installed in my hair um. I got them done on wednesday, so a couple of days ago today is saturday um. I got it down a couple days ago and i am so egg-cited so, as you guys know, my first set of locks. My i just had traditional regular locks and i had those i i think i got them done in 2020. No 2021 is when i got them done um. It was april 2021. I think it was april 9th 2021 and i had those in until no. When did i take those out, i don't know, but i had them in until like i'm just estimate, i probably took them around, i think, may i took them out. I took them out in may and i took them out because i didn't. I didn't want those anymore, i didn't like the look of them anymore and you know i was just you know, tired of them whatever um and i took them out, so i took them out like a year later, um and then i was you know rocking my Natural hair for about like a month, if that and i was like oh baby - i cannot go back to natural too much work too much worrying about my hair looks fine, it's just too much. You know what i mean like. I was in that lock lifestyle mindset for a year and some months and going like transitioning back to natural was literally horrible. Like waking up doing my hair, trying to figure out what hairstyles to do you know what i mean like i was like. I never want to go back to this, like i never want to go back to the natural life um well loose natural life. So i hit up my girl b, nico brittany. I hit her up and i was like hey girl. Well, i texted her. I was like hey girl um, you know, i want, you know micro locks, you know i was like, since i did traditional i was like. I should try going smaller. I guess so i was like. Let me see what's smaller, you know, will look like on me. So um i got those installed june 9th was it june 9th. I believe i got those installed and i just had those with no extensions. Just my irregular smuggler hair um. It was really cute. I really liked it and then, like i, i had those in for two months: um no three june july, we're in august now, so i had those for three months. But the thing is, i didn't like about those one, my the length now when i first got them done, my hair was longer because obviously they weren't wet, you know they didn't shrink, but my hair did shrink a lot and with micro locks. The thing is is that they can't come undone a lot and they you know they call it um. What do they call it? Not untying, not unraveling, but basically they just came undone a lot because they are smaller. So that happens a lot. So a lot of my back one, since my back was like shorter than the rest of my hair were just coming. Undone like left and right and it was just very aggravating because i'm like okay, i twisted it back up, but that's just like starting over my journey. You know what i mean now, i'm three months and now this lock itself is done. You know it's back to square one, so i've been looking to get extensions done for a long time. You know what i mean um and i was looking at other hair, stylists or whatever it was charging like. Oh, they were charging like a literally like the baseline was like a thousand and higher a thousand and higher, and i was like - and i was like - i really want these done and also i didn't want any because i didn't know that britney did these, like. I didn't know that um and i didn't want anybody else in my head that haven't been in my head before you know what i mean um. Yes, i was like dang, it looks like i'm just you know i i just can't get them so i was like. Let me just text brittany, you know like hey, i want micro, lock extensions, you know how much would it be blah blah all that stuff. I showed her lengths and everything, and literally this is literally the exact length that i wanted. That'S like the exact length that i wanted. I just told her that i wanted it to be long enough or i can like if i wanted to wear it in a pony. You know it can still go in a ponytail. You know what i mean um, so i told her that and i was showing her you know. I took some pictures off of pinterest and i was showing her that whatever and she said you know it will be 14 inches, that's the length. So i was like. Okay, great i booked my appointment, um and i was like i was so excited like leading up to. I was just so excited because i was so ready because i was watching a whole bunch of tick tocks with people getting it like getting this done or whatever. I was just you know, i'm always like that, though, where did that piece go? Oh, i'm always like that, like with anything, if i'm about to get something done, i'm gon na look at every single youtube: video, every single tick, tock video up until the day, even on the day until i get it done, um yeah. So i was like so i was so excited to get these and i am excited like and my thing is. I know that we're not supposed to really worry about length, but i love length. I'M sorry, i love lint, i will say i love having longer hair. I have never had hair that wasn't like obviously a wig or like just like synthetic hair. Um ever like my natural hair has never grown. You know this long. If i would have kept in my traditional locs, they probably would have gotten this long in a few years, but think i didn't want to wait a few years. You know i mean um, i love length and i know people always say like they always be. Like. Oh you're not supposed to care about length like length, isn't all that, like i love length, i i just think longer. Hair looks better on me. I look better with longer hair, so i was like you know what i want some length to it and you can do a lot more with your hair when it's long, you know um and whatever i don't care. I love one. So i don't like it too long like this is the perfect length for me right here, probably like right here. That'S it yeah, i'm gon na just show y'all a little close up, i'm still in my scrubs, so i came back so i just got home from school. Okay anyway, um yeah a little close-up of my hair. So these are micro, lock, extensions, all right. So i don't know if you can tell, but so my hair stops about like right here and then this is all the extension yeah, but they look so natural and they look so freaking good and she did an amazing job on them. You know and my total my total came out to four almost 500. I think it was like 481. Then i tipped her 20 dollars so um yeah. I like i said i feel so freaking pretty and honestly i thank you. Brittany. Thank you, girl. You know for hooking me up so yeah like yeah, so i got my hair done and these will and you can keep these in for. However long you want to this is human hair, so you can keep it in for, however long you want to, you can take it out whenever you want to whatever, but eventually these will lock like these will turn into locks so yeah. So i'm gon na just treat it i'm just act as it is. It'S my real hair. You know what i mean because it is now. You know i'm gon na have these in for a very long long time. You know what i mean um, if my hair, like years later down the line decides to you, know, get super long on me, then i'm gon na take these out and actually just rock that or whatever you know, but yeah. So that's where i'm at right now with my hair, okay and um, it took me a while to try to figure out what i wanted to do with my hair because, like i said having those locks having my traditional locs, i was just like wow like it Was amazing, you know on maintenance, you know i didn't have to do much to it. It was already like i woke up. My hair was done. That'S what i love waking up. Your hair is already done. I didn't have to do. All i had to do is just re-twist, you know wash it moisturize it, you know oil and water and that's it and let them be, and they were beautiful, they were beautiful. Traditional locks do not get me wrong, because i look at pictures. I'M like wow those those were so beautiful, um um but yeah. I just got tired. I wasn't feeling them anymore. Sometimes i just took them out um, but yeah. So that's what i'm about my hair and i'm not changing my hair anymore anytime, soon after this okay, this is it this. Is it all right, so we got my hair out of the way. That'S the first update. Second update is school. I know you guys are y'all been on my booty about school, since i freaking graduated high school what four years ago, 19. 20. 21. 22.. Four years ago, um i am going to dental assistant school. So i'm going to be a dental assistant, and i am excited um today was actually my second week of school second day of school. Today was my second day of school. I am loving it so far. Obviously i have to adjust because it's a whole new environment whole new things, i'm learning everything is new to me. You know what i mean. Literally, everything is new um and, like obviously it's a little nerve-wracking at first. You know what i mean. I get nervous with stuff like that all the time, so i'm like what, if i'm not good, but i also have to remind myself like nobody's like well like 98 of the time. You know people isn't good at whatever they're doing from the jump. You know practice makes perfect or whatever just practice, practice practice, and i have a good teacher good instructor. I have good classmates, they are literally incredible and supportive and everything like that. You know i love it. So much like you guys, i never been so excited to learn about anything. In my whole, entire freaking life, like i said when i was in school all grades elementary middle school high school. I hate i mean i didn't hate school. I just hated like it felt like a drag like. I wasn't excited to learn anything in any of the classes. I didn't. I didn't care for any of my classes like at all um like every single homework i get i'm just like. Oh, i have to do homework and then that results me of, like you, know, cheating going online and just looking up answers, because i don't care about it. It'S all because it's all just because i want a passing grade. You know what i mean and that's it, but now i'm actually like wanting to learn. I actually want to do my homework. I actually want to. You know actually want to learn. You know, i'm looking up youtube. Videos on you know how to do stuff, and everything like that, like i said, i'm having fun, and i like that, you know what i mean um, so uh the first day of school. What do we do? We? We, actually, you know, learned some of the instruments to use. We used a little sucker thing. I forgot the name of that already, but you know that and the one that you have to press down like bite down on not bite down, but just close your mouth, for it sucks up all the spit. You know we learned about all that and today we actually got to do some cool stuff, so i did impressions today, so you know that nasty gooey stuff that i especially if you getting braces, then you'll like definitely know, but i got to do impressions today, um, So you know i got to mix it up, whip it whip it whip it. I was struggling with the whipping it up like so hard and like doing because, like i don't know, i'm just struggling with that, but when it actually came to putting it in the mouth and getting like the perfect impressions, my impressions were perfect. They were actually really good, but just like mixing it up, you know and like trying to get it because you have to do it as fast as you can, because that stuff dries fast, you guys, so you have to do it like a minute and 30 seconds. She said so i do all of it like mixing it up, putting it in the thing doing that putting the thing waiting all 30, all a minute and 30 seconds, so um yeah. I was just trying to do that and that's what i need to work on. You know what i mean. Obviously i'm not gon na be good. The first time like i said everything takes practice or whatever, but, like i said, i'm excited for this new little journey. Ah, i'm excited. I really am um yeah, i'm wearing my scrubs right now. They'Re actually a little big, and i don't know why, like look like, i don't know - maybe maybe i'm tripping when i first got them. They wasn't this big, but look so cute um but yeah, i'm so excited to you know, learn and everything like that um. What else what else, oh um, how am i doing in my apartment, so i've been? How long have i have i can i talk? How long have i been living here? I think i've been living here, bro may june. I think, may i think i'm moving in here in may anyway may june july august. I remember how many times i paid rent - i don't know, but it's been good like i said i love it in my home a lot not really because i said i work. You know i work and so um, but also i hate now. This is so funny now. Actually i don't know so before i moved like out like when i was still with my parents. I wanted to stay in the house as much as possible. I didn't really want to go anywhere. You know like that, but now i've moved in here, which is so weird i like like when i'm at home, i can't even y'all y'all y'all. Remember i used to watch tv shows like this. The newest tv show i'm on it this this. You know i want it like that, but now i can't even do that anymore bro, because i just like, i can't just sit at home and watch tv for like six seven hours. You know what i mean. I can't do that anymore. I do not know why, even though, even even when i'm not doing like, even when i'm not at work like, i can't just like sit at home and just be home for the whole day, even though i've been waiting to be home, you know for a whole Week, you know to get off work. I'Ve been waiting to get home, but i can't i don't know why i can't so freaking weird um. I don't know i like to you know just at least go outside to do to do something i like to feel the sun. I, like you know, go to target. You know i love target uh. You know just something like that. You know i'll say i love hanging out with caleb my boyfriend. I want him most of the time so yeah um, but that's about it. Y'All um not too much happening, but just some pretty exciting things. For me. You know what i mean um but yeah. I did add some new stuff to my place, so i guess i'll do an updated apartment tour. If you want that, then you know tell me um, i added a little bit not too much stuff, but like this rug right here, a little bit. You know just like little things. I added you know from the last time that you guys seen it um yeah but yeah. That'S it! That'S it that's going on with little old me but yeah.
