Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, so today i'm doing another colored wig, i'm going to be doing obviously red. As you can see, um i'm going to be using that kids colors crimson. I didn't use the other color, because the other color had too many orange pigments in it, and i wanted like a really true red. Hence why i'm re-dyeing the hair, because the first time i added too much magenta into it. So i just went ahead and um watercolor method dot it again. So that way, hopefully it wouldn't be as pink as before i mean you could still see some of the pink, but it wasn't as strong as it was, but yeah. So i just pulled some water um poured into a bucket, as you seen i pour the color in there um made sure to mix it up and just dipped it all right. So after i let it sit in there for about 20 minutes, i went ahead and rinsed it out as much as possible to get rid of all that extra um red dye, and then i went in with my iron shampoo, just to clarify it. Some more um also, i forgot to mention before you even do anything like make sure to spray your lace with got to be, or some people use vaseline, but make sure you put some type of barrier on this. So that way you don't um. Basically, so you don't tint your lace as you can see, my lace is not tinted at all, even after sitting in a red dye for 20 minutes so and i use the got to be spray, just the regular, yellow one and the um you can get from Anywhere, to be honest, your beauty supplies or cvs walgreens, anything like that, but yeah so just make sure you go ahead and do that before you do any type of color okay, so i actually picked up some more things from erica j's collection. I actually got to hold me down on the skin guard and i also got the um new, her what's the same adhesive, but it comes in a different packaging, it's actually in the tube now. So i got both of those and i'm going to be trying those out today, all right y'all. So i tried a different um wig cap method. Today i actually tried using adhesive instead of the got to be spray um. What i can say is it definitely dries faster. So you definitely save time. However, taking it off is so much more of a hassle, but i mean obviously it'll work out, for you know longevity, but i'm a type of person - and i change my wig every week. So it's definitely a lot harder to take it off, which i mean it's a good thing, but yeah, it's just a whole lot more work. So this is my daughter ryan. This is the little girl, that's always turning off her ring light and always moving my camera and she's such a busybody boy. She wanted to be in the video. So this is her after you clean off your skin with the alcohol just go ahead and spray it with the um skin guard uh doesn't make a difference, i'm not really sure yet, but it does smell good and hopefully it will prevent. You know. I don't know if y'all seen, but people who wear wigs a lot like around their um, the perimeter of their forehead. They start to get like this well, the skin starts to look like a whole lot lighter than the rest of their face, which is hopefully what the skin guard is to protect you from, and i also saw that it helps reduce sweat, so it'll make your installs Last longer, uh did my install last a while. Yes, it did, it didn't really lift, except besides the fact that i made the absolute biggest mistake that i ever did so. Basically, what happened was i forgot to put foundation on my wig cap before i applied the glue and basically what happened was my dumb tail went ahead and put foundation on top of was like the second layer, and then i put the third layer on top of That and basically what that did was reverse everything that i had just done. I i feel like it kind of like set the glue in a way like the glue. Wasn'T sticking how it's supposed to, as you can see why my lace was not sticking properly and i had to go back in again with some more layers, so definitely do not. Obviously, this was common sense that i really was lacking at the moment because i was rushing so just let you know do not put anything on top of the glue. If you didn't, do it just go in with some um lace tint after you do the install, because otherwise it's not gon na stick so so after i did the curls. I went ahead and did my edges um, which took me forever. That'S why i did it off camera, but i went ahead and just did that with the um got to be gel and the black, and then this is the next day of me taking out my curls. So as y'all can see, i use that white um strip. Basically, what they're called snake strips - i usually do not use these, but because i didn't have my um wrap strips uh. Basically, what a wrap strip is. It'S the whole. It'S they're black, but they're, thicker and they're way more durable than those white ones, because i hate them the white ones. They break too easy for me and they also like, as you can see, have like those white pieces stuck to my lace, because it was sticking to the glue and it was so hard to come off. But anyways. I went ahead and went in with my erica j mousse just to go back over those baby hairs which i think came out pretty good. The only part was my russian tail once again forgot a step, and i forgot to tip my lace. So, that's why you can see that white cast um. You can just either go back in with some lace tint and let that set or just go back in with some makeup like i did but yeah. I totally forgot that so here's the picture with flash. Obviously, you can see the importance of lace tint, but i mean it came out pretty good. The curls are bouncing. The makeup was cute. The baby hairs was late and yeah i'll catch y'all on my next one. Bye

La'Joia Creary: Love the red !!Love the installation as always color came out soooo bomb❤️ Awww your daughter is soooo cute

Ny Ny: Beautiful

Tracy Parker: So Pretty

afrodeity: Aww your daughters freaking adorable.

Abbieee.h: This color

afrodeity: Idk if the skin guard would help with that. I'm pretty sure its like a tan line but for your forehead. If you don't wear your wigs all the time you should be good because that part of your forehead is getting sun too.
