Hey guys,

So I never really worked with 613 hair let alone a 613 wig, they are a little harder to make look realistic so this is my best version of it. if you are a stylist and you want to leave some tips on what I could've done differently then feel free, I would really appreciate it. There is a difference between HATE and Critique.

anyways this is my first time really putting on a wig by myself so don't judge, thank you guys so much for watching. Below will be my social media links and music information. Don't forget to like, comment, share & Subscribe !

I will not be promoting the hair because it did shed alot and by the time the hair was taken out it was very dry and brittle !

So you guys welcome back to my channel. My name is kate hill and i am back with another video today, i'm going to be showing you how i got this reverse ombre hair color on a 6 13 wig. This wig was sent to me by maylid hair company um. This is 26 inches and a 13x4 frontal wig. The wig came with this satin bag so that when i'm done with the wig, i just toss it in there and it came with two light brown wig caps like the one on my head. So right here, i'm just showing you that the lace is transparent. You can see my cap underneath, of course, because it's not you know, finesse how i would usually finesse it, but i'm making some parts right here and i just want to show you how deep the lace is. But once i tint the knots on this, it's gon na be like it's not gon na. Look so wiggy. If you know what i mean so initially, the hair was very thick from the roots to the ends, but once i washed it, you know did everything to it. It did shed a little bit. Okay, you guys. So since i am watercoloring this hair, i'm going to tone it with the shimmer lights, uh, purple shampoo and i'm going to pour it in the bucket with water. I don't want to put it exactly on the hair, because it will turn the hair gray and that's not what we want. So the reason for using this shampoo in the first place is to get some of those yellow colors out of the hair. I personally don't like the barbie doll blonde, but you know if you like it go ahead. Okay, you guys. So i put the hair to the side and now i'm filling up the bucket back with more water so that we can start the rest of the dyeing process. So the first color i'm going to use is this adore 107, the color mocha, and i'm going to pour this inside the bucket and mix it until i get that brown that i want. Okay. So now i'm gon na take the wig that i pre-parted, as you can see. I put that part in it, so i can know where to die falls and i'm going to dip the ends into the bucket all the way. Up until how far i want the lighter brown to reach from the roots, so i'm gon na go ahead and repeat that step empty the water and then refill my bucket with new water, so that i can start doing the darker brown at the tips. So for the darker brown, that's at the tips i'm going to use the door 110 darkest brown and i'm going to do the same process that i did with the first brown color that i used and i'm going to pour that in there and mix it around. What i did find out about this color is that it had green undertones, and i didn't really like that too much. So when i was dipping the hair, i realized it wasn't as dark as i wanted it to be. So i added some jet black 121. I mixed that in with it and then tried it again, so this is really just like a testing process for me, but it worked out perfectly fine and if you wanted to use just black instead of mixing the darkest brown with the black, then you could do That, okay, so right here, you see me putting the wig on my mannequin head and i'm getting ready to pluck my hairline just a little bit, not too much so right here, you're going to see me use some lace, tint spray that i found at the beauty Supply store and i seen that it matched my skin perfectly on a piece of tissue, but i want to see if it looked right on the lace. So here you see me testing it out. I really wasn't too sure if i liked that lace tint color, so i went ahead and made my own lace tint and if you want to see that go ahead and comment down below and i'll make sure to make a video on that. Okay. So now i'm going to place this wig right on my head so that i can blow it out and straighten it, but once that is done, i'm going to show you how i install the wig so stay tuned, i'm going to let this part play for a Little bit, but then i'm going to show you how i install the wig okay, so the hair straightened - and i didn't record me putting on my wig cap. I also apologize for the sun being in my face and in this clip like that. Okay, so i'm starting off by putting some foundation the color of my skin on to my wig cap. This helps me because i don't want to have like a piece of tan cloth, the wig cap, showing underneath my lace. So i just want to blend everything in okay, so i have to put the wig back on just so i could, you know see where my hairline starts and ends before i start to put the glue on so i'm going to go ahead and fix the wig Brush it back and then i'm going to cut the ear tabs off so that the wig can actually fit and not like press my ears down. So i clipped the hair back now, i'm going to pull the lace back just a little bit behind my hairline so that i can start adding the glue right to where i want the lace to start. I'M then going to add little dots of glue from one ear to the other. All the way across my hairline and i'm gon na do three layers of this. So i'm gon na do one i'm gon na spread it out. Wait till that dry. Then i'm gon na do a second layer. Wait till that dry. Do a third layer! Wait to that dry! Okay! So here technically i was supposed to wait for the glue to completely dry, and you know the glue is dry when it's clear me, i'm very impatient. So i decided to stick my lace down but right here, i'm taking the scissors and i'm cutting it my lace into three pieces. Before i cut off the excess lace, usually people cut off the excess lace before they glue it down. I like to do it afterwards. I feel like it gives me more to work with so, as you can see, because of how impatient i was, i got glue all over the place, so i'm just going to take some witch hazel or um. If you have alcohol and clean up that extra glue right now, i'm just finding my middle part again before i finish: cleaning off the glue, but during this whole entire clip, i'm just going to be cleaning off that glue. Then i'm going to tie up my lace. Alright, so y'all, this is just how i finesse the wig: okay yeah, you guys. So once again, this is birthday hair, and this is 26 inches. 6. 13, 13 by 4 lace, closure wig. I use two to three different color dyes. To do this style, reverse ombre, and i'm not a hair professional. I don't know about hair. I barely know about my own hair, but i definitely love how this wig came out and on my birthday, it's gon na look real cute with my outfit i'll, probably give it some curls right now, i'm giving off bad so um, i'm gon na leave it like This just for right now, let me see if it looks put both bright them in the front. Do y'all remember how thick the hair was. When i did the initial review, like i thought washed, it was thick too, but i did lose a lot of hair because the hair definitely does shred shred a little bit a lot of it not right. Now it's not shutting, but when i was brushing it out and doing the styling and stuff it was shredding like shedding. I don't know if it got thinner or maybe just because the products i used to straighten it. I could still push them. It'S still pretty thick yeah y'all. So if you like this video go ahead and like comment share and subscribe hit that little bell icon, so you can get a notification every time i post. If you like this little hair series that i'm doing on my channel go ahead and comment down below with some different styles that you want to do different, colors, whatever it is, and i'll get right on it: okay, y'all so yeah, so bye,

Vasilopoula: Been rocking reverse ombré since 2009. Only in the last few years have some companies stopped making reverse ombré like this. I did think to buy a platinum Blonde wig, and send it to somebody who knows how to dye wigs well. But I wish I had thought of this back then, instead of searching every website and even going from state to state (CA to GA), trying to find a reverse ombré, lol. Now I’ll just start buying any style that I like that comes in 613 and dye the ends myself. Thank you thank you thank you! Question: did the color fade at all or get on any of your clothes? And what texture is your hair and do you recommend the chemicals you used on synthetic/semisynthetic hair (I’ve never done any dying).
