Hey y'all today, i'm doing like a afro ponytail hairstyle. So let's get started so i'm just using my natural hair, i'm going to create a middle part. First then, i'm going to part down this side section here along the side of my head and i'm actually going to do this on both sides of my head. I'M going to clip up each section using the large clips that i love to use because they keep my hair separated. So then, i'm going to take that section and then split it in half and then clip back that second half now on the first half i'm going to make this into four squares, i'm using rubber bands to secure each square and i'm making sure i'm not doing It too tight, because sometimes i will put my rubber bands on too tight. So just be careful with that. If you feel like yours, don't want too tight after you're done your hairstyle just like oil, your scalp or oil apart, so that it loosens up the parts in the rubber bands. So i put four rubber bands on that first row and now the second row i'm going to just cross over um. Like two sections - i guess i don't know like it's going to create a square that has a cross. So there's going to be four parts and they're all going to create a cross like you see here. So when i do that again on this second section just twist up the front part and then like diagonally, attach it to the back part and then rubber band. It together and then i'm going to do the same thing with the other one. Usually the first one that you do is kind of difficult, because you don't want to pull in the hair from the other parts and then the second one is a little easier because everything else is tied up. If you feel like you need to use gel or jam on your parts, make sure you do that, but i didn't and if you want to put your edges like swoop them up, go ahead and swoop them things, but i usually don't so now, i'm just going To brush up all of my hair, the rest of my hair into a high bun and i'm going to try to brush it up. As far as i can, i use a little bit of water just to make the hair pliable to be brushed, and now i'm trying to situate the bun near the top of my head. But i didn't really do. I didn't really put it as far as i wanted it to, but i was trying, but my hair is so thick so like it's really hard so yeah, so here's the bun. So now i'm using natural girl, wigs faux kinky, coarse, ponytail, 4v4c afro bun. It'S really long. You can manipulate the hair texture. If you want, it is synthetic um so like you, can roll it up and dip it in hot water. If you want it, but i decided to use it in its natural state, so i'm going to attach both combs onto the front and the back of this bun. Then i'm going to pull the drawstring as tight as i can to make sure it's really tight on the bun and then i'm going to secure it with the drawstring button then bring that drawstring around and secure it underneath the ponytail. It definitely can stay secure. If you secure it with a bobby pin so yeah, so now, i'm just going to finish off the ponytail by wrapping the base with some of the hair. This first piece that i used was a little too thin. So i went ahead and took a second piece which was way thicker and i wrapped the base of the ponytail so that it would cover the bun and all the dramatics going on with the drawstring part. And then i just kept wrapping until i can't wrap anymore and then i went ahead and fluffed as much as i could, because i wanted to make sure everything looked symmetrical and whatever. So this is the final look if you're interested in natural girl, wigs ponytails and other wigs go ahead and use my discount code on their website thumbs up this video.
