Easy Low Middle-Part Ponytail + Trying Out New Ors Olive Oil Products | Allaboutash

Foreign, hey guys, welcome back to my channel all about ash before we jump today's video make sure you hit that subscribe button and subscribe to my channel, but in today's video i'm going to show you guys how i got this kind of super cute low middle part. Curly ponytail, i'm also going to be trying out some new products from auras olive oil. So if you want to see how i got this hairstyle and what i think of some of these new products, then just keep on watching okay. So this is how we're starting off with my hair today is wednesday. On monday, i washed it deep conditioned it all of that tuesday. Yesterday, i just wore it in my everyday low bun, so that didn't require much product. So this is kind of what my hair is looking like as of now earlier today, i just kind of took a wet, washcloth or kind of a damp washcloth, and i just wiped my edges a little bit because i had a little bit of edge control, but Yeah just want to let you know how we're starting off with my hair, it's fairly clean because i just washed it on monday, so yeah, let's get into this hairstyle. So as you can tell from the intro, we are kind of doing like a low middle part. Kind of curly long ponytail, a really simple style that i like to do sometimes, but today we're going to be using all new well new for me: rs olive oil products and i'm just gon na. Let you know the products that i'm going to use so the first product i'm actually really excited for - and this is kind of a newer product for aura s2. So the first product is the auras olive oil, ultra hd, gel sleek, smoothing so yeah. I'M actually really excited to try this gel out. I'Ve been wanting to try a new gel for a while now and this one just looked really interesting to me. So yeah we're gon na try that and then two other products which are new to me, but they're. Not kind of new from aura s, so one of them is the ors olive oil fix. It super hold spray, which i actually hear a lot of good things about people kind of use. These two products, when um installing their units, their wigs stuff, like that so yeah. This is just kind of like a really strong hairspray and then the other one is the ors olive oil fix. It super hold wig grip gel, so this again is kind of used for laying down a unit, it's kind of like a tacky kind of. I don't know how to describe it, but yeah. It'S really good for installing a wig, but i kind of wanted to use this as kind of an edge control. Then last product i have just the ors olive oil edge control, which i have used here on my channel, i'm actually running out of this stuff but yeah. So those are the products that we're going to use for this hairstyle today. So i'm just going to start off by parting, my hair um, you guys know i'm not the best at making a super straight part, but yeah. It doesn't have to be perfect. This isn't like a super sleek hairstyle, it's just kind of a cute easy. It'S kind of sleek, but it's not the sleekest that you could get so yeah. It doesn't have to be super perfect, but i feel like that is good enough. When i look in the camera, are my elbows ashy a little bit? But when i look in the camera it looks a lot more crooked, but when i look in the mirror it kind of looks straight so, okay, i feel like that's good enough like i said it doesn't have to be perfect. So now i'm just going to go in with the ultra hd gel. I don't know why i smell things, but i like to smell it, but this it doesn't smell like not that a gel has like a scent, but it smells like a conditioner or like shampoo. So that's nice actually smells really good, i'm just going to start off by taking some. Oh also, it's like black. It'S not like a clear color, it's definitely tinted or like a dark brown. Whatever you want to call. It kind of looks like that. So i'm just going to start taking some and smoothing it on my hair. This is a first impression. I have never used um this product before so hopefully this comes out. Well, so yeah, i'm just gon na start, smoothing it all. On my hair, i'm just gon na start off with a little bit and we're going to brush it back and then, if i need more we're going to go in with more okay, so i'm just going to leave that much right. Now i'm just going to take my brush and start smoothing it. So one thing i feel like i can tell already i feel like it - has kind of a strong hold for a gel, like i feel like it's already starting to set, so you may want to work kind of quickly with this product. I'M just going to take a hair tie and put my hair in kind of a loose ponytail. Oh yeah, it kind of sets pretty quickly so work fast with this product, i'm just going to apply a bit more okay, so i think i'm almost done it just always takes me forever to just smooth the hair, all the way back and just get everything kind Of somewhat flat, i think i'm about to call it a day, but yeah this gel has like a pretty good hold. I don't know it's good for like everyday, simple styles, but it gives you more of a hold. So i kind of like that, like i said you just have to kind of work fast with it, so it doesn't completely set, but i think i'ma call it a day, i'm getting hot. From doing that, i feel like that's good enough, i'm just going to secure it with a ponytail or a hair tie. I'M gon na do like three loops. Oh my arms, getting tired! Okay, like that ponytail secured okay. So now that we got our ponytail, i think i'm gon na move on to edges. I'M gon na do edges. Now or later we can do our edges now, so i'm going to take the auras edge control and first i'm going to kind of part out the edges that i want don't mind. My edge control brush it's a little bit dirty. But honestly, i feel like it works better when it's kind of hard and has a little bit of build up product rather than when it's like fresh, clean and soft. So i'm going to just kind of map out the edges that i want. This is like my favorite part of this hairstyle, so yeah. I find that when you kind of take your edges out first and then you apply the edge control on them. You kind of get a cleaner nicer look, so i'm just gon na go ahead and do that yeah this um, this gel it has like a pretty good hold it's kind of like a gel mix with the edge control because it has like more hold than you Would think a gel would give you, but it's not exactly as strong as the edge control okay. So i kind of map my edges out, so i'm going to take a little bit of this edge control. Now this edge control - it doesn't kind of for me that won't hold my edges all day in place, but i do like using it first, so i'm just going to use this first and then go over it with the um wig grip gel. So i just kind of smooth down hold my finger and then brush back up okay. So now i'm going to go in with the wood grip gel and i'm going to take a little bit of this and just apply it over my edges. This it kind of smells like it smells like gummy bears to me honestly. All of these products they kind of have a good smell um. So i guess that's nice, not really that scent makes any difference, but it does smell pretty good. I probably like. Why is she smelling everything now, i'm just going to continue to do my edges. Just pretty much do everything over again there we go getting that nice hole that i like for my edges. You can see that and this stuff kind of sets pretty fast too. This um wood grip - gel - i probably should have done my edges before i did my makeup, but it'll be okay that is stuck on there. So i'm just going to take a little bit more of the gel and we're just going to kind of apply it where all those little hairs came up from doing our edges and we're just going to smooth everything down. I'M just going to take the soft side of my brush and just smooth everything in together. So now i'm just going to go ahead and braid kind of the rest of my ponytail, so we can add the extension on top okay. So i just finished braiding my ponytail left a little bit of hair out, but honestly it's okay, you won't notice. So this is the wraparound ponytail that we're going to be using today so yeah. I got this ponytail from my local beauty supply store. I want to say it was like 12. I have worn it before this. That'S why it kind of looks like this doesn't look bad. Oh my voice, cracked. It doesn't look bad but yeah. This is how it looks, so it is a wrap around ponytail. This is what it looks like on the inside. It has a comb right here that you just kind of stick into the base of your ponytail, my exposure. There we go so you stick this comb into the base of your ponytail and you literally just wrap the rest around. It'S pretty simple and easy. I kind of have a love hate relationship with these ponytails they're kind of easy to do, but sometimes they're not the most secure, so it really depends on a day. If i really want this to be secure, like i'm going somewhere, i will kind of sew this around my actual um braid, but on other days like today, i'm just going to use a couple bobby pins to secure it. So yeah, that's what we're going to do! I'Ll kind of show, let's see if i can show you guys the best that i can so i'm going to take the clip and i'm just going to stick it into the base of my ponytail or my braid and at the base. I always like to add one bobby pin, so i'm just going to stick that down in there, so i'm just going to kind of hold the clip and the bobby pin as i do this first wrap around i'm going to try to show you guys the best. I can, but it's honestly hard, but so just hold it, and then you literally are just wrapping the ponytail around your braid, like it said it's literally a wraparound pony, so i'm just going to wrap it around, and at this point i think i'm going to add Another bobby pin i'm going to continue to wrap now. At this end, you kind of see the hair is kind of sectioned off with like an extra piece, not an extra piece. But this is a piece of hair that you're going to wrap around the base of your ponytail to kind of conceal the tracks and everything. It'S pushing those bobby pins down, so i'm going to take this piece of hair, i'm just going to continue to wrap around the base of my ponytail, just smoothing it out as i go so then i'm kind of down to the end of the wrap i'm just Going to keep on wrapping until i can't anymore and i'm going to take another bobby, pin i'm going to secure this at the bottom of the ponytail, and then there you have it your ponytail is on. So you guys this is pretty much the finished hairstyle. I'M just going to go ahead and go in with the fix it super hold spray that smells pretty good, i'm just going to spray everything really lightly so that it kind of stays in place. I got something out of my mouth that does not taste good. Okay guys, so this is the finished ponytail hairstyle. I just really like this hairstyle, because it's cute, but it kind of looks like you put in more effort than what you really did. It'S honestly really simple to do. As far as the new products that i tried out, i really do like them this gel. It'S really going to keep your hair in place like i don't think my hair is going anywhere, especially because i sprayed some of this fix. It super hold spray on top, but yeah. I do like this gel. I feel like it's kind of a mix of a gel and edge control, so it's going to give you a little bit more hold, so you do have to work a little bit faster with it. But overall i mean it's going to keep your hair in place as far as this wig grip gel. This is like my edges. I feel like they're kind of glued onto my head, which isn't a bad thing, because i want my edges to stay in place. I feel like this product would be really good to use in the summer time when it's really hot and you're kind of sweating. I don't think your edges would go anywhere because i'm literally feeling them right now. It literally feels, like my edges, are glued onto my forehead onto the side of my head, so yeah this is a good product, so yeah. I really do like this again. It is a super. Hold grip. Gel so be careful if you use this, but if your edges are kind of difficult and they don't like to lay down, i would say: try this. This will probably help and then the spray i just kind of used all over. So i'm going to have to use this, maybe installing a unit to actually see what it's really like so yeah.
