#ExtendedBraidPonytail #BraidPonytail #SlickBackPonytailBraid

What'S going on, you guys welcome back to my channel. This is your girl Lily and today I'm gon na be showing y'all a bomb tutorial on how I achieve this star part slicked back braid ponytail. I think this is cute. I probably won't be in for long just because I feel like this style will probably last longer on dry hair versus my natural way, but that's just my own opinion because honey I could see like my hair sprouting out from the braid already y'all, probably aren't going To be able to tell as much as I can tell but yeah it's there if you are new, go ahead and click the subscribe button and comment down below and make sure once you come in, you check out the dope merchandise as well. Like it's available, it's available is here and wait for your purchase if you have already purchased. Thank you so much for the support make sure you screenshot or take pictures and send them to me on Instagram, so I can post them. So that's about it all! The products everything that I'm going to be using is going to be in the video and linked down below there's literally like two products. Three, including the hair y'all, enjoy the video what's happening. I am going to be doing a slicked down slicked-back ponytail today. You guys see - I already have like my part carved out, and my hair, for the most part, is detangle so for the supplies for this video. You already know you're gon na need a comb, some brushes, maybe even more than one type of comb dependant on your hair and how you do what you do not as far as the supplies, the hair product, I'm gon na, be using some regular eco, styler gel And their new eco style, black, castor and flaxseed oil 48-hour edge control. Now, if y'all watched the twist video that I did the I mean the soft locks video, I use this to lay down. Basically, like the you know, the top parts of my hair and I use it to kind of keep my hair together as far as like when I was braiding it or whatever. So I'm going to load this eco styler gel the what's left for the most part onto my hair, because of course this is a lot of hair to tame and to get into as slicked-back ponytail as well as I have my spray bottle right here. To make sure everything is nice and controlled, so I'm not gon na do too much talking as far as laying the hair down, I am going to use this to go ahead and make sure my part is defined. Just you know knock that out the way right now, I'm not laying down any baby hairs. Okay, so ponytail is finally secure. I have 100 pounds of gel in my hair and I'm going to try not to watch it too much because you know that can tend to make the back look tango like it's not smooth, and I can already feel that that has happened back there. So that's what we want to stay away from, so I'm gon na get a scarf and just lay this down. This is my bag of hair synthetic hair that I use for braids twist the locks anything out of hair styles like that and y'all. Don'T fancy just took my earrings, I don't know if y'all noticed, like they're reversed, the dangly one is like the first earring down here and on this side it's like the third and at the top what's coming over earrings. If you are even know to say - and I do want to check out what it looks like in the back of my head - I'm gon na use one of my palette mirrors it's not as smooth, but that's, okay, cuz. This is a natural hair style nurturing. Our Styles tend to, of course, not be a smooth because hair's not dry and with the scarf I'm gon na go under the ponytail and I'm a wrap it lightly. I want to have some movement still cuz. You know if you wrap it too tightly your neck and your heavy stuff. Okay, move nowhere and I'm gon na get out this hair that I'm gon na be using for the braid. So I think I'm going to try to work with this hair. I think I might have a better outcome: ooh, I'm nervous, because it's not a lot of hair. This is all we have all we have by the way. I can't do this ponytail when I'll scarf um. I think I'm gon na just put it like a bobby pin right, so I'm going to start to break this hair this hair in my hair, I need to make sure it is in an equal three parts. Yeah just wish. I had a clone that can do my hair, so I'm just gon na start right in like normal. I'M not gon na adhere until a couple lower rotations down, because it will be a huge braid and then it'll be way too small, too quick. So I think I read it maybe like three parts down and now, when I start to add hair, actually need to have a clip couple Clips handy to keep these sections separated. Okay, I'm gon na separate it, and this isn't gon na be like a super long right. I know some people are doing like the crazy long braid it doesn't have to me. I just want a braid. The best thing to keep in mind is try not to brace so tight like we all understand that we want the hair to not slide out, but in order for you to fluff the braid, you need to be able to not break it so tight. So I finished the braid in part. There is certain parts of the brain where my hair is actually poking out from the braid itself, which I don't even care. Some people trim the braids. I'M definitely not gon na. Do that because I'm going to be cutting my own hair now, what we want to do is go ahead and fluff. What I was just talking about is basically trying your best to gently pull up the braid out, like literally fluff, each part. This needs to be dipped in some hot water. I'Ll do that later, I'm not gon na show me different in hot water. Everybody knows how to dance there just make sure the water is not too hot, because it will burn there and then the texture changes. It makes it weird baby, air time I'm gon na leave my baby hairs down with eco style gel, not the edge control, because the edge controls it has an oil base to it. So it makes my edges like curl back up after, like a certain amount of time, I need my baby hair to be slid down and stuck in place, not moving Wow. You guys, you guys finished baby. Here'S our lay nice sauce and you know I'm saying leg, dive leg to the side pressed Friday. No, we ain't fried we leg to the side go so like I said before. I don't think this baby's gon na be in no longer than maybe two days. Three days at the most, this is cute. I really like how it turned out. I wish it could be a little bit more, even but you know first time and it's cool like I said it's not too long. It'S just this like this is cool admission on bears all out of frame. I like the braid is soft. I dipped it like. I said I would, but it really didn't change the texture of the hair. I don't even feel like it made a soft fur. I think this water - I mean this hair, maybe he so it may not actually be affected by the heat. Oh, like you know, from hot water. I forgot what hair this? Is you guys, I'm so sorry, but I know that it is like the type of hair where you can do braids with it's. I don't know, I really forgot it. That'S that's my like. Not a good thing just go to be smart store and get some braiding hair. That'S not like super silky smooth to do this with, unless you are doing it on dry hair that you probably would like to have some. You know some softer hair yeah. Let me know what y'all think down in the comments kind of this video was is if it was helpful if y'all enjoyed it getting a little closer. A closer personal with y'all will probably have some pictures on my Instagram or my snapchat. Just like it's a story or whatever yeah, so that's about it. I will see you on my next video how this was helpful. This is cute. I am
