Full Wash Day Routine For Dry + Color Treated Natural Hair!

Hey boo in this video, i am going to take you along my wash day routine now that my naturally curly hair is color treated. So i dyed my hair burgundy myself a few weeks ago and i'm definitely still trying to maintain healthy hair, so definitely keep on watching to see the whole process. So if you know me, you know that i always start my wash days with pre-pooing, so i detangle my hair before i hop in the shower and wash my hair with shampoo, because me personally, the knots that i have the tangles that i have are just a Lot like my hair, gets tangled super fast and when i shampoo my hair, i just want to be able to reach my scalp with my fingers right. So that's why i always pre-poo um, and sometimes i use a conditioner with a lot of slip to detangle my hair, but today i'm going to use like the african pride pre-poo, it's a miracle product. It melts away tangles like butter. I love to use it. It'S like my holy grail, my staple i've, been using this for years. You guys know that if you watch my channel, you know how i rave about this product right. So i just make sure my hair is wet and then i apply the pre-poo and i just detangle my hair with my easy hair detangler. This is like the detangling brush that i use. If i have a lot of knots and my hair was at this point very matted up - because i hadn't taken care of my hair for like 10 days um, i had a super hectic week and i was a bit sick, blah blah blah so yeah. I was not able to take care of my hair, so my hair was super dry and tangled up right. So it's definitely time to make a difference in that, and i need to be very careful because now my hair is color treated, which means that it definitely needs more moisture and hydration, and i definitely need to level up my deep conditioning game. I now i'm going to deep condition every two weeks with a moisturizing deep conditioner, preferably because it's just yeah, i can definitely feel like my hair - is a tad bit drier than usual, because you know i did color remover. It was a challenge so yeah now that that's out of the way now that i detangled my hair, i'm just going to help straight into the shower. So once i'm in the shower, i rinse off the pre-poo product. Obviously, and then i go in with shampooing my hair - twice: okay or maybe even three times if it's really necessary, but i never shampoo my hair just once. Okay, so this time, i'm using the olaplex shampoo i've always been a fan of oloplex products. It worked amazing on my hair when it was still black, my natural hair color, but now that my hair is color treated, it works just the same. It works so well, especially the shampoo love it. A little bit goes a long way and it gets rid of all the product build up, but my hair doesn't feel stripped at all, because if you don't know about olaplex products, olaplex products are focused on repairing broken bonds and rejuvenate your hair. Their products are formulated in a way that they increase strength and restore elasticity in your hair, and they protect the hair follicle from further breakage. Okay, which is amazing, especially if you have chemically styled hair like mine, or, if you often heat style. Your hair, such as flat iron, silk press, you know curling iron, all those type of heat styles. If you use oloplex products, it will give you a super good base to protect your hair against all the heat styling. All the color damage that you may get right. So now i'm going to use my conditioner to again detangle my hair, real quick in the shower i'm using my tresemme conditioner. This is like the one that has a lot of slip and a lot of moisture. I love love this conditioner. Some people say it has silicones in it. Um honestly me, i don't care, i really don't care, it works great on my hair. So that's why i love it. I'Ve been using it for years now. It'S also one of my staples. It melts again my tangles away like butter, not that i have a lot of tangles right now, but still like it just feels good, and i let that sit in my hair for about five minutes and then i go ahead and rinse it out. So now that i shampooed and conditioned my hair, i am going to style my hair in the shower on soaking wet hair, and this is the leave-in conditioner that i use the as i am leave-in conditioner, the classic one amazing stuff love it. It defines my curls making my make my hair super soft um, so i'm just going to section my hair and i'm putting my products in my hair. I'M just going to do a wash and go. I don't do wash and goes often because it just creates a lot of tangles after a few days, but it looks good okay. So next thing i'm going to use the mich bounce curl, defining cream, love, love, love this cream to the farmer curls. It has an amazing scent. The texture is very rich. It is a bit heavy, so a little bit goes a long way and it clumps my curls beautifully. It makes my curls look fine, so yeah. This is like my new favorite curl, defining cream over the shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie yeah. This is my new staple okay. So then, i'm just gon na apply that and honestly, those are the only two products that i was using this time. Usually, i would use a gel on top, but i realized i ran out of my favorite curl defining gel, so i'm just going to work with those two products. Right and honestly, it works out great. You guys will see the end results in a second, so that day was actually a very hot summer day. So i let my hair air dry for a few hours, and this is my hair, how it looks um, it's not completely dry. Now, it's almost midnight! So don't mind the face, but i was very tired. I was getting ready for bed, but i noticed that the back of my head was still a bit wet and mushy. So i went ahead and diffused my hair until it was completely dry and then this is my nighttime routine for my wash and goes by the way i just put my hair up in a pineapple with a very large silk scrunchie, and then i just put on My bonnet and that's it that's how i preserve my wash and go at night, so it is the next morning i just took a shower and i didn't remove my bonnet at all. My bonnet didn't even lift during the night. I love my bonnet. I got it from, i think amazon or so i don't. I cannot even remember i've had it for so long and straight off the bat. This is how my hair always looks when i remove my bonnet, but i know it's gon na work out. It looks a bit flat, but i'm i'm gon na make it work all the time i always make it work. I just fluff it out a bit, and this is honestly the only thing that i do. Sometimes i would use like a curl refresher spray. If my hair is really flat, but today it was fine. Okay, my curls are now a bit stretched. I don't have a lot of shrinkage and i like it that way. Okay, so this is really the only thing that i do very simple. I just use amazing moisturizing products. I make sure that my hair is protected at night and that's it and i could have had even more defined curls if i would use my gel. But honestly, i like how it looks this way so yeah girl.
