Fire Ginger Wig | Watch Me Bleach The Knots + Install This Wig | All Things Poly

It'S looking like, oh your family, has a recessive gene. It'S looking like hi guys welcome back to my channel we're going to be bleaching the knot, styling, the hair and installing this wig. So if you want to see how we got here, keep watching so starting off with the basics. Here, i'm using bleaching powder and 30 volume developer to bleach my knots, i should have showed you guys what my knots were. Looking like on my wig they're very prominent, and you could see them so they really needed to get bleached, basically you're, going to keep mixing this combination until you get like a fluffy consistency. Almost like a cloud. You want this to be super thick, so it doesn't bleed through your wig and bleach more than just your knots so to help prevent that, i'm going to spray got to be glue spray on my wig, so it kind of has a layer of protection. So, even if the bleach happens to get through, it won't bleach the red part of my wig, i'm just pinning down my wig here on my wig head and i slicked all the hairs back. So no flyaways are out and i'm gon na gently and slowly put on the bleach. It'S sped up, of course, but you want to do this super slow and be very cautious. Do not press the bleach into the wig you want to just lightly put it on top of next. It is once you've covered the desired area, with bleach you're, going to take aluminum, foil and place it over the bleach. So this can help speed up the bleaching process. You can always read the directions when it comes to bleach. I think it says: leave it on there for like 25, and it can go up to like 40 minutes just depends on what you want. I typically only leave it on for about 10 minutes because i get scared and then i go wash it off and if it's not bleached completely, then i will just add another layer of bleach until i get all the knots, so i left my wig out to Dry overnight um, this is the result, so it has like some curls at the bottom. Now, i'm just combing it all out. It'S pretty uh, tangled the texture of this hair isn't the best it's kind of like. I don't want to use the word nappy, but it's just not it's really friendly. It'S like it was a lot to work with. So now i'm going to straighten it all over and later just wand the ends and my guess as to why the hair was like. So um, i guess damaged is the word is because it's like processed hair, you could tell that they used a black wig and they dyed it this color, so it just feels like it's. You know been through some stuff, i'm going to order some silicone mix. It'S like the holy grail and put that on this hair and i'm pretty sure that'll help fix it, but you can find silicone mix on amazon. It'S like a conditioning treatment. You leave it on the hair for like two minutes and it really helps bring it to life and soften it up. Thank you, natural disasters. My baby has been alright every time. I look into your eyes. I see every time me just is don't you love me? Oh yeah, oh oh, baby turn the lights down. So now i'm taking my wand and i'm just going to go through really quickly and just kind of give the ends a bit of a curl. Is it true it true another part of the wig customization that i do is i cut off these clips like their hair clips inside of the wig, they typically add extra ones that aren't really needed to help secure your wig, but all it does is really hurt. Your hair, because when you put it on your head and then try to take off the wig, it gets stuck in your braids or ponytail or whatever, however, you're wearing your hair, so i cut them off because there's no need for them. So now i place the wig on my head and i'm just making sure it fits good and making sure the parts in the middle and, like everything, just lines up well now, i'm going to take my got to be spray and spray. The perimeter of my head and i take my napkin and like dab because the spray kind of runs down a little, and since i'm going to cut my lace after i secure my wig, i only put a little bit of got to be glue spray. At a time i don't want to spray all over because it's just going to dry and not be sticky by the time i get to it. So i'm just doing the front of my head and i'm going to pull down the wig and make sure that it lines up with the wig cap. Underneath now i'm going to cut room for my ears. So i'm cutting the lace at the end and i'm going to kind of cut into the wig a little bit. Some of the hair is going to get cut off, but just so my ears fit comfortably and they're not irritated what now, after spraying, the got to be spray pretty much around the whole perimeter of my head. I'M going to add this elastic band to kind of wrap my hair and just help it seal. My hairline once i feel like the wig, has kind of been laid down a little bit, i'm going to cut the lace off of it because it's in the perfect position, it's not going to move anywhere else. So i very carefully cut the lace off of this wig, because this is where you could make some like mistakes and ruin the wig okay, oh my laptop tied, we really did need that lighting hallie, who, like they should cast me. I want to see more gingery. It'S more like red, slash, burgundy, which is okay, but we'll keep doing my thing on this is: will you try on all your knives? We couldn't uh. This is the annoying part of installing wigs. It'S like just like it's tedious, it's tedious, but we're going to get through it. It'S just annoying and this side i don't even want to start with so we're just going to mess. With this side, i mean that alcohol, because glue is just looking atrocious. Okay, you see that line that's like kind of where it's lifting, but i cut as much as i can. I wan na spray work out to be glued spray on it and then put that elastic band back on it, so it can lay honestly i'm done cutting that. I think that's good enough. My burpee hurts my paper hurts. Am i better than everyone? Am i better? You need to leave, oh, i might take you off my makeup. Little, don't quite like that. Like a my furnace like this is like i said it's this side, i don't know what to look at. I don't i don't want to look at it's not that bad looks like it's winky. This is looking like. Okay, she's, looking like, oh so i'm like pressing makeup into the lace to make it not us and it's working, oh away, i'm trying, but these are coming out horrible. I need a freakiness eyeliner lip liner, but i'm in freaking pomade. It'S not coming! It'S like giving! What'S supposed to give one camera looks okay, but course it looks like bluetay. I wanted to show you guys these curls, because i kept going back and forth with curling my hair and then wanding my hair, and it wasn't coming out right. So i kind of just gave up and straightened it, so this is what it was looking like, but honestly, like one side was better than the other, so i just switched it up. I have lashes on, but this is the final look um i'm trying to find. I'M like trying to search for like the details of everything and i'll be sure to include it, but i want to tell you guys why i have you here um, so this uh, they said when i bought this wig, that it is it's a 13x4 lace front. Wig um, if they said it was a brown color, remy brown, it's not getting brown um and it looks gender which is like what i wanted. But it's like more like red, but it's still like it's still a vibe. It'S like exactly what i wanted um. So the inch is what i buy, that, oh, my god, i bought 24 inches. So let's see 24 inches, just like my mid back like longer than 24. But who knows nowadays, but i got 24 inches um. This is for sure red like, but it's giving like. It'S just getting, i don't know, i'm happy with it. I feel like the red i added freckles, so it gives me like that. You know maybe she's born with it. Maybe it's all expressed. Who knows, but it's giving um yeah. I love it. It'S i don't know. If it's like the best texture, but you can tell that it's like processed hair, but it's it's a vibe. So whatever it's probably this color, it is like you know, getting towards the end of september, so this is probably going to be my halloween hair or something like that get something else, but i think i'm going to go. Ask the girl from a goofy movie um, like the poet she's, like you know, with that like little beret or let me not say all my ideas, so um but, like i think red is like. I think this is like my color, like it's coming out of my scalp. It'S coming out of my scalp like this is my hair. It'S my hair, um and yeah.
