How To Start A Wig Business During A Recession In 2022

What'S up beauties welcome back to my channel in today's video, i will be teaching you guys how you can start your wig business even during the recession, because it's not stopping nothing if this is something that you are interested in then keep on watching. Let'S just hop right into the video starting. A wig business during a recession does not have to be a hassle. In fact, it can be a good, lucrative, very profitable business for you. If you do it the right way, and in this video i'm going to be breaking down everything um. What audiences you should kind of try to target and just really the whole nine, so, let's just get right into it. I think to you that i want to get across to you. Is that, even though um, even though we're going through a recession about to go through a recession, whatever the case is um? I just really want you to get inside of your mind that, just because the world is going through a recession does not mean that people are broke. You can still start a wig business. You can start a luxury jury, but you can start whatever business that you want to. Even if it's a high-end business during a recession, people still have money, people have money, saved people have their ducks in a row. It'S everybody's not going through a financial hardship at this time, so i just really want you to put that in your mind and just really just know that it is still possible for you to start a wig business, because we do know that wigs can come off As expensive, depending on what you are doing, especially if you are going to be selling custom, wigs um people, they still want to look good, regardless of what's going on in the world, it can be, it can be hell going on outside. People still want to look good, so just don't don't exclude yourself just because we're going through a recession, because people still got money. People are still spending money and people are still purchasing during a recession. So i just wanted to get that out there um. When you are starting a wig business, it doesn't matter what time um you're starting it. You want to make sure that the first thing that you have set in stone is who you are targeting, because the reason why i say um start with this first is because it does not matter what vendor you pick. What website you choose what colors you want. Um, your pricing, none of that matters until you know who your target audience is, that is going to play a big factor in literally everything every business decision, everything that you make in your business um. You want to know who your target audience is. First, with wigs, are you targeting girls who are going to college and they want to have a more affordable approach, but they still want to look good. Are you targeting the girls who are in corporate america? Don'T got time to go to the salon and get their hair did, but they obviously they are um, doing things that are putting them in the front of everything. So they want to make sure that they look good at all times, even though they can't make it to the salon. Are you targeting the girls who have a quick, quick, um hairstyle and they don't they're not really into the human hair raw hair, but they want a good nice synthetic wig like who are you targeting? You want to make sure that you have set in stone first? Who your target audience is because this is going to play a factor in everything else that i am going to say once you figure out who your target audience is and who you want to target um. You want to honestly start finding vendors for that particular target audience that pacific customer that you're going for um. It doesn't make sense to try to find a raw hair vendor try to find the best raw hair vendor. If your target audience does not even wear raw hair, they may just be comfortable and okay with regular virgin hair because it you know the prices will be more cheaper, but they can still get that quality. So you want to make sure um. Once you have your target audience set in stone, you want to make sure you start looking for vendors for that pacific target audience and also too another thing to keep in mind too. You want to keep in mind what type of wigs you want to sell. Do you want to already have vendor wigs so that you you just basically just ordered the wigs already made from your vendor? Or do you want to give a more hands-on experience and you want to make the wigs yourself and take custom orders so once you figure out those things and find you a vendor, you want to go ahead and start getting your supplies. I will be dropping a video this week on the wig supplies that you will need to start your business um so be looking out for that. But you want to make sure that you start ordering your wig supplies. You can get your wig supplies on amazon alibaba. Your local beauty supply store because i'm pretty sure a lot of beauty. Spot stores are being helped to wig makers and they are carrying um like the camping heads and things like that in person um. So just look out for that video. I will be dropping everything that you will need to start your wig business um. Once you get your wood supplies, you want to kind of um go into your branding. What is your custom? What is your target audience looking for? What is the messaging that you're looking for? Of course, you will not be talking to a 18 year old, the same way you would a 40 year old um you not so a lot of people, don't you know like to be addressed as cis. They want to be addressed by their name uh, depending on who your target audience is that will determine what your brand messaging will be um. Then you can go into um, creating your logo, making the um coming up with the color schemes for your business um developing packaging. What do you want your packaging to look like um? Once you have those things set in stone, then you can go into actually creating your website um, creating visuals for your website because then you'll have the colors you'll. Have your brand messaging you'll? Have your target audience in mind, so everything will kind of start going in alignment and cohesive with one another once you have your website done. I then, at that point you can start making your social media accounts um. Once you make your social media accounts, my advice to you is to start promoting your business before you even launch. If you can promote it three months in advance, that will be amazing, if not at least promote between two weeks up to two minimum two weeks, but up to a month before you launch, you want to make sure that you're creating hype around your brand. You want to make sure that people are excited and actually tuning into your brand um, if all if, if you can at all cost, avoid launching to a co-audience, avoid launching to nobody, basically build up your hype around your business, meaning posting beforehand, um you want to Make sure that you're collecting leads collecting email lists or, if you're doing, text messaging for your audience, make sure you're collecting those um phone numbers for your um audience so that when you do launch you have a email list or a text messaging list that you can Shoot a text say: hey um, we just want we're, launching i'm going to give you a special discount code or give you vip access to the website. Since you have already uh subscribed - and you know your you have shown interest in my brand. So once you do launch, you can just continuously keep promoting keep working with other people, make sure that you are collaborating and just really just get into this bag um. It'S nothing really too. It'S not really rocket science to start a wig business, a lot of things, a lot of reason why people don't start or they are stagnant, is because of fear, and you really just got ta punch it in the face. Unfortunately, it does not matter what level you're on as far as your business fear is going to be there um doubt gun is going to be there.
