Watch Me Turn Old Knotless Braids Into Faux Locs

What'S up you guys, it's your girl, ayala, and today i am back with another video and, as you guys seen by that title, i am going to be turning these knotless braids into like fox locks or just like locks in general um. I'M really going for like a really super natural look, so i'm not going to be using any edge control. Besides for my edges and as you guys can see, i've had these in for about like three weeks to a month now, and you know i got that new growth coming in as you all can see. So what i'm gon na do is. These are waistline knotless braids. What i'm gon na do is cut these to about like collarbone length, because i really just want something like short and simple for like two to three weeks, so we're gon na get right into it, but before we do make sure to hit that subscribe button, we Are on the road to 1k subscribers so make sure to hit that subscribe button and also turn your post notifications on so that you can be notified every single time. I drop a new video, okay, okay, so let's get into it. So the hair that i'm gon na be using is this, i guess the molly braid hair. This is the or eve hair, molly braid, not really sure which one. But this is what the pack looks like. I'Ve already used a little bit of hair out of here. As you guys can see, i am doing short locks, so i probably won't need that much hair and then i also do have a little bit of blonde like the color 27 and i'm gon na probably do like a little patch right here or something or add A few blonde locks in here as well - this is the rastafari hair, so just want to show you guys in case. You guys decide to do this on yourself, but yeah as you guys can see. My braids are red and this style won't be red. At the end, so if that even makes sense but yeah, let's get into it, so i'm gon na cut these first and i'm really just going for, like very short, actually i'm not gon na just randomly cut it, but let me see, i also want to make Sure i don't cut my hair too, because it grew and i'm gon na just cut them like like right there, oh, but yeah, i'm gon na cut them right there and honestly i i hope i don't cut my hair, but if i do, i need a little Trim anyways, i'm probably going to trim my hair after i take these out just a little bit because i do want to start doing consistent trims because that's how you your hair, grows faster too, and you prevent them. Splitting they're actually really cute like this. I'M kind of mad - i didn't wear them like this first, but we gon na really just get started, because this really shouldn't take that long. This is given all right, so i'm just taking the kinky hair and basically i'm just gon na one side shorter than the other and just start from the root and start wrapping around. Which way do i want to wrap. It was more comfortable, i'm a little confused. So when you get down to the bottom, you just want to like kind of tuck the the braid inside of the hair and then just wrap back the opposite way and boom they're gon na be a little stiff to begin with. But once i wear them a few times they're going to loosen up, but that's basically what you do you just get the kinky hair wrap it around real, simple, real, easy, real quick. So let's see how long it's going to take me to do this. It'S 11 55. So, let's see 11 55. But let's see how long it takes me, hey baby! What'S your name, let me talk to you, okay, so all right y'all, so i'm on the last the last one. Finally, because what time is it hey? What time is it it's 401, so it took me about four hours to do this and honestly, i thought it was only gon na. Take me like two hours, but we on the last one y'all and i'm excited, because i'm tired - and i don't want to do this - no so yeah as you guys can see, though i did do a patch in the front. That'S blonde. I think it looks super cute. We gon na see. Okay, so y'all see how i'm like running out of hair and i'm not to the bottom of the twist or the lock. You just want to get another piece of hair and just do basically do the same thing and add it on as if you were adding it onto the root and as you guys can see, this is longer than this. So i'm going to just stop right here and then just start wrapping back up now, i'm gon na just cut this and boom so cute. The red braids underneath show a little bit. But honestly, i didn't really care about that. I was just trying to get these done and i didn't want to take too long on each one. So yes super cute. Now i'm gon na just do my edges. Honestly, it looks just fine without my edges even being done, but imma just do it for the video. So, as you all know, i use instant control to do my edges and we're just gon na do a swoop, a swoop and two swoops on the sideburns real, simple, real, easy, real cute so and boom y'all. This is what they look like really cute they're. Actually, a little stiff at the ends but they're loose so like they're kind of loose at the top, because i didn't do any like edge control or i didn't tighten them. I didn't like really wrap it super tight around my root. So i really like that and they're so cute. Yes, i love this y'all. It took me four hours. Oh y'all, see that i'm not gon na do that. I'M gon na do that. Um yeah all right, but yeah. This took me only four hours, so i'm loving it and honestly, if y'all know i just started doing my hair actually in january. So i wouldn't say i just started, but it's been about like seven to eight months and i feel like i'm doing my damn thing. So yeah y'all really time consuming, and i actually did these the red braids that i had. I actually did a video um so check that out. If you guys want to see that - but i wanted to you - know, save my time and not have to do extra parts and do braid my natural hair, so i just did it over the knowledge braids that i already did so now.
