What is a 360 Wig? It is a wig that has a 360 degree frontal and with lace all around the perimeter of the wig so you can have more versatility in styling the wig. You can part it wherever, put it in a ponytail, etc.

I see that arm fat just jiggling. You can't do that honey subscribe to my channel, hey guys! Welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, jennifer internet. So, if you're on social media, do you see a lot of ads for headband wigs? I mean they pop up everywhere, so i really just wanted to find out why i have vmware so popular right now and if you want to see what i find out just keep on watching. So if you're like me, somebody that rarely wears wigs in the first place, because i'm just not really well versed in the world of wigs. I was wondering why headband wigs were just really really pushed so much and why they got popular. So quick and by the way, what is a headband wig anyway? Well, basically, a headband wig is a wig that is designed to hide the transition of the track that is associated with wigs and headband. Wigs are designed to not use any lace. So if you are familiar with wigs a lot of the times, people use lace to make wigs for the front part to have as much of a natural hairline as possible with headband wigs. You do not have to have lace, you literally just have the headband part and you can hide it with a decorative item to hide the transition of where the headband part starts and the track ends. So that's primarily what a headband wig is a wig with no lace, so heavy and waves were probably around before uh the global pandemic started, but i think they became very popular wigs with frontals or closures. They were more popular because people primarily like to buy wigs that they could customize, but kobe 19 happened, and then we had this global pandemic. A lot of suppliers had to shut down due to workers not being allowed to work. So what do you do in a pandemic when you have an abundance of hair? You come up with a way to sell wigs that don't require lace, which means have been wigs. That'S why you also see a lot of ads for wigs with bangs or wigs with sewn in baseball caps or people started to buy more u-part, wigs or just wigs that do not require lace, lace being in short supply due to the pandemic, with perceived associations to China and the pandemic, i think a lot of people were very hesitant to get supplies from china and a lot of hair that women purchase for wigs are from china. So i think a lot of people had the idea that it could be contaminated, so they weren't probably buying a lot of products hair in this case from china and again lace, especially from what i was learning from my research. I think a lot of lace - good lace comes from switzerland, so their production had to stop due to the global pandemic. So lace was in really really short supply, but honestly guys i was just interested in headband wigs because i'm a lazy natural and this works well. For me, so if you were wondering about pros and cons of headband wigs - and this is just from my perspective here - you go the first pro of a headband wig is that it is easy to install. It will literally take you less than five minutes to put a headband wig on, even if you don't prep your edges before it. If you just wanted to wear your headband like really really close to your hairline, where it begins, it can still work. But honestly it's such an easy hairstyle to wear and you can't beat that so for someone that does not like lace, wigs to begin with on me, not in general, i love i love looking at wig videos, i just personally don't like to put on a lace. Wig, let me just make that clarification, but anyway um yeah. I i love the ease of just putting this thing on and just being out the door, but i must admit a con to wearing a headband wig is that you cannot customize it. There is no customization. There'S literally just this i mean you can put it in a ponytail and you can wear it up and i'm pretty sure there's a couple of other hairstyles you can do. But honestly, that's it with a lace wig. You can customize. The part you can. You know. Do all those things and you can really showcase how really good you are at melting, the lace and making it look like your hair and getting those compliments and people thinking that it's your hair, like that's, really really cool. So when i see people wear wigs and you have a flawless, you know lace and that just makes it 10 times better and it makes you feel, especially if it's a 360 wig and you can customize the front and put it up and do all the other Stuff, that's just really cool, so that is a con to a headband wig. You really can't customize it as much because you're really just restricted to this, or maybe a ponytail, or something like that. So a pro for me for a headband wig is that for me it is a it's more of a protective style, so i can still have my hair braided up underneath and that's it and all i'm doing is putting on the headband wig and then that's it And optional, is this part to you know, slick down your edges? That is a very optional part, because i literally can just you know, pull the headband down further and not even worry about the edges. If i really just wanted to go all natural in terms of nothing on my on my natural hair - and i know what you're thinking well technically under your hair when it comes to a wig with lace, your hair is braided up as well. Well, yes, but you're not putting the spritz on there, you're not putting makeup on there, you're not doing any of that, and then, when you take the wig off you're, not peeling off any of the glue you're, not doing anything with the headband wig. You literally just you know, put the wig on and go, and this is optional, but the con is that i feel like with a headband wig. You are getting less product for your price. I feel like with at least with a lace, wig you're, getting more money for the price, because you're getting all of the hair, including the lace part of it, it's all hair, whereas the headband wig. They are substituting the part where it could be hair with the headband part, so technically you're losing money. In my opinion, if you purchase a headband wig because you're not getting the hair that could be in the headband part, so the con for me if you do purchase a headband wig and not a lace wig is that with the lace i feel like you do Get more hair, but with a headband wig you're getting less hair for your money. So i know that i did say that a con for a headband wig is that there is no customization but technically. For me, that is a pro for a headband wig. Is that you don't have to do any customization for someone that doesn't know how to pluck or someone that doesn't know how, to you know, make sure that the part matches your regular skin tone when you have that part in your lace or for someone that just Really doesn't know a lot about wigs these wigs with these heaven. Wigs are really really really beginner friendly. You just pop it on and you go so the no customization can be a con for some people, but for me for someone that doesn't really know how to do wigs. It is a plus for me, because i don't have to make it look, really really really really natural with a lot of work. You just have to make sure that if you do want your edges to be out that those do look a little decent depending on the hair you get, because if you do get something like maybe a little bit a little bit more kinkier, which my hair naturally Is a little bit more kinkier, but because this hair a little bit, is a little bit more wavy. I wanted my edges to reflect that. So that's why i gel them down. But if i had a kinkier hair texture, then i probably wouldn't even care about my edges, because it would probably match the texture of the wig. So no customization is a pro for me, even though it was a con earlier for people that, like to customize for people that don't like to customize, it could be a good thing, but a con to that is that there is no visible hairline. I think with headband wigs, you literally know that i'm wearing a headband wig because i'm wearing a headband that doesn't mean that people with lace, wigs, don't wear headbands, but if they wanted to take the headband off and show the hairline they can do that. If i take my headband wiggle you, you know, i can't do it yeah, especially with the 360 wigs. You know you can really get a full different look just by you know, having a wig that you can customize the the visible hairline with and then, if you wear it in different styles, you can give the illusion that it it's not a wig, whereas somebody that Wears a headband wig nine times out of ten. You know it's a wig because it is attached to a headband and you see my natural hairline. So that is a con for me because you know i i do i don't mind wearing wigs. I don't mind wearing this headband wig, but at some point, you're gon na realize all right. Well, that's probably a headband wig because she always wearing a guide dog on headband. That is. That is something to think about so another pro for me for a headband wig. If you buy a synthetic one - and this is a real hair wig, but if you buy a synthetic one, synthetic wigs are notoriously more affordable, especially if you go to the beauty supply store, you can get a multitude of headband wigs and by headband wigs. I do mean half wigs, they don't necessarily come with a headband. They just come with the the harsh ending, but not a headband. Attaching all you have to do is buy a headband, and i have a full video on that that i will link down below. But if you buy synthetic half wigs that you can wear as headband wigs, you can buy a lot of those depending on the cost of it. For example, one of them that i bought was less than 20 dollars. So this this headband wig cost around two hundred dollars, don't judge me, but if i'm buying a synthetic one for less than twenty dollars, i can buy. You know up to ten for two hundred dollars and have different styles of headband. Wigs versus just the one had been wig and just the one style, so you can have straight hair. On monday, curly hair on tuesday wavy hair on wednesday kinky here on thursday and a whole bob on friday and it'd all be a headband week. If it was synthetic and it was affordable, the downside to that a con is that if you do buy synthetic headband or half wigs is that synthetic usually goes a little bit downhill quicker than a weir, a real haired wig, no matter how much you try to You know keep it intact. That is something to think about. That'S why i did one i wanted to invest in some hair. That i knew was was what i hoped was real, so that i can kind of get my money's worth and i wouldn't have to worry about. You know having a synthetic wig kind of you know, go out on me and in in a short amount of time, because synthetic wigs, the shelf life diminishes drastically the more and more that you wear it, whereas when you have a real hair wig, it can last A little bit longer so you're really getting your money's worth. So those are just some of the pros and cons that i have experienced while really trying to decide on whether or not i was going to buy a headband wig. But i hope you enjoyed this video. It was just a quick, you know pro con of headband wigs, because i was just really curious as to why you know starting back in march. I was just constantly seeing all these freaking ads and it's really just because they just had an abundance of hair and not a lot of lace, because lace was in short supply due to kovitz. So they came up with the idea to do this and it kind of kicked off. I like it, because i'm a lazy, natural other people like now. Let me go, get the lace player because they want customization, which i'm not mad, and i completely understand. But let me know down in the comments below if you have any personal cons and pros about headband wigs and if you want to know the specific details about this headband, one that i have on right now, i'm going to post another video right after this one, Letting you know the specifics about this headband wig and i'm also giving you guys some other lazy, natural hairstyles that i wanted to showcase just in case. I already have a video on my channel featuring some quick hairstyles and i will link that down below and i did that about a couple of months ago. But i want to do a part two, and i want to show you guys the details about this wig and i want to show you guys a u-part wig, and i want to show you guys some hair clip-ins for people that want to use real hair, but Not necessarily lace wigs, so i hope you check that video out. I hope you subscribe to the channel to help you check all my videos out come on anyway. Thank you guys so much for watching. I will hopefully see you in my next video bye. You
