Hey guys, hey guys, welcome to lick lick, we're on day number five and if you're in the chat, give me a thumbs up and say, hey, let me know your guys's names and we'll chat. Y'All can see the title. It'S obviously something we're passionate about, so we're gon na get straight into it: hey Danielle, hey Sean, hey, Yong, 555, hey what dad honey. If I say your name wrong, just correct me: Martha. What'S up Danielle daydrian Tiffany from Philly? What'S up Billy, I love Philly. Today, I'm in my office slash wig lab, so I thought I thought I'd come come on tonight and talk about this topic that I've been getting like a lot since I started youtube like you know, when I get like hate comments and stuff, it's always surrounding the Topic, those black women and wigs it keeps freezing. So if you guys can see me and give me a quick thumbs up, I would hate for it to freeze on my first live stream and I might got ta know if the mic is working. Am I good? Am i freezing for anyone real, quick, good good? I can see you so if anyone's having a problem. Seeing me, let me know give me a sad face or thumbs down. Okay, we good be good, so it happens to be like the center of. Like all the hate comments I get. If I hit any, I'm really appreciative of all the love I get on my hair videos, but every now and then I get like either show comment or like some hotep or some person who has a problem with me or how I wear my natural hair. So I'm just wanted to talk about like black women and wigs since we're doing wig week, and it gives us something to discuss. Thank You Kendall. She said you're, so beautiful don't pay attention to that bull. I think that's the whole point here like we know that, like black women, we we are very aware very hubby's here helping me. So if I'm doing something wrong he's allowed to tell me, I love my videos. Thank you guys. What'S up Akili, Oh Jamaica in the house, we're very versatile exactly! I feel like that's the whole point great topic: it protects our hair okay. So what we're gon na do? Um! Thank you. So much Rumble over my first life. First of all, you guys so what we're gon na do before I get into why I wear wigs. I'M just gon na talk about like some of the week. Some of the reasons why I wear wigs in the past or some things - people just don't think about because they're more focused on trolling and hating, and actually you know why a certain person decides to do what they want to their hair. And if you guys are wondering about my league, this was wing week, video number one, all the details are there I feel like this is one of the perfect summer box. I just threw her on coming home from a long day of errands. Yes - and you know you need this wig. Obviously I think the videos titles you need this week, but yeah you guys. So, let's just start with in college, my work-study job in college was kind of like like an office, job or administrative. So what the hair styles? I used to wear then was for like offers friendly, so I used to wear a lot of, like you know, just medium length, a little bit of curl dark, colored, wigs. Just because I used to wear like you know, dress, pants or cardigans or button-up shirts or whatever. The case is for my office job in work study in college. But that was that was just for work. And then, when I didn't have the job anymore and of course I was still doing YouTube that allowed me more time to experiment and where the heck, where, whatever the heck I wanted to wear um. So I started to do more. Like crochet techniques, I started experimenting with color. I was like you know what I'm going all out. I want blue. I want red, I want purple, I want. What are the codes? Have I done blonde now? I did all the colors you guys so that reflected like a different stage. You see what I'm saying and no we're in the process, because I was wearing a certain type of wig or weave or whatever just to make it convenient for work or because I wanted to experiment with my youtube channel. Not in none of those cases did. I do it because I hated myself, you see, I'm saying I wouldn't try to cover up anything. For me. It was like a creative journey um, but now you look, you have to look good for your husband. That'S that's why you wear wigs. You look pretty good. All colors, thank you guys, so let me know in the comments. Let me know in the comments why you guys were waiting before I get to like now why I wear wigs those clothes look really good on YouTube. Thank You, girls. Thank you. We'Re very versatile. Your lipstick is poppin. Thank you guys and I I think, I'm doing good on my first live stream on YouTube. If you're doing good, just give me a thumbs up, you guys to make sure you can hear me that I'm not rambling but yeah. So the on my lips, I'm wearing I'm wearing four lipsticks, so I had what had happened was I wanted to do the lipstick I wore in my first wig video? So it was the colour-pop ultra satin lip. This was a Larry's collaboration, it's in Redmond and then I put the NYX soft matte in Morocco in the middle. But I don't know it worked that day, but it wasn't working this day. I don't know why you guys, but I was like you know what it's not working for me right now. I'M gon na go with my usuals, and these are my staple Reds they're, both from coloured raine, a great great great black, owned business. Long lasting super good formula um this one is cherry blossom and then this one is this: one is vanity rained, so yeah, mainly these two and they give me the perfect, read perfect, read for brown skin. So, let's get them to the chat. Let'S see why you guys wear wigs, what's that, so if someone says I don't, but I love your tutorials, you look great. I get that a lot because a lot of people look for me for like natural hair inspiration, you guys know. I have thin fine natural hair, but I rock it just the same. I rock it as if I had like really thick big hair cuz. You know it goes out of my scalp and I'm proud of it. I wear weight to be able to switch it up on a whim without damaging my own hair. I feel you on that like what, if you were like what, if you were in a wedding and the bridesmaids, have to have the same hairstyle or like something at school, if you're in school, for like a like a performance or something that would be like the Easiest thing just to get a wig so that everyone can match so you don't have to damage your own hair. Someone says I got ta go back in the chat. You guys are commenting like crazy. I need a break for my natural hair and to keep my natural hair protected. I feel you on that, especially during the winter. That'S why I wear my ways in the winter as well: cuz, it's cold where I live, and your hair gets really dry really easily. Like you put moisturizer in there and then you go outside and then snow falls on your hair and it's just a mess. Someone says I wear wigs because my hair is short and my boyfriend likes long hair. Hmm, that's an interesting! Take! I wear wigs because my hair is short. My brother, my boyfriend likes long hair like why? Does he like long hair? It'S just. Is it like a like his preference, or did you used to have long hair and he missed he festal it? He light. That'S a really interesting take on it. I learned how to make wigs from your videos and other youtubers. Yes, I love you too personally, because it's like how to sensual. You can learn how to do anything, and it's not just from my videos that I I want you to find out how to do this live stream. I want you to figure out how to make this or how to make that. I want YouTube to figure out how to edit videos you can do anything. Someone says I wear them, because they are quick, fun, easy to change or switch hairstyles and protect natural hair from heat. I feel you want that. Someone says I heard good reviews about that. Scent Leclerc, yes, colour-pop is bond, I'm a huge fan of Ellery. Did I say your name right the first time I hope I did but Big Ups to you, Ellery she's, she's awesome. I love her. Someone says I wear wigs because I love my natural hair lol. I choose not to relax or dye my hair, so why not wear wigs to search out my look, you know why not! I feel you on that. Like some girls, some girls wear wigs to get something. That'S not on their head and some girls wear wigs to mimic what's already on their head. So let me know like which one are you are you like someone said they'd help me look different with different styles. Protects my hair, so it looks like so looks like you guys, love expressing yourselves, you like, protecting your hair, you like switch-hit it up. I love doing my own wigs effect. That'S me being done by myself same-same the fact that I'm making my wigs is a special part to me. Let me get a drink, y'all mmm! This is so good. If you guys follow me on instagram, you know I'm addicted to coconut water, organic coconut water that is so freakin good and for some reason, it's more hydrating than regular water. To me to me, it hydrates me in a quick minute what happened? It'S hi, Dodie love! You hey love, you too, you got wicks and mattre, not cheap as well as Falana curls is too it's too hot to wearing. I feel you sometimes sometimes it is actually too hot um, for example, to crochet with the crochet wig. I showed you guys to make on how to make on the last video it's in general is too hot, but that wig has like holes in it. So you do kind of breathe. So when it's hot you can make your wigs are like shorter um. So your neck can breathe or you use like a you, do a crochet wig. So it's a lot more breathable but yeah. I feel you on that. That'S why people wear like braids and like things like that in the summertime as well, my hair is naturally I don't like the straightener of me. You love that around Chaka Khan. I feel you on that said that somebody said the real Pocahontas was bald well. That Pocahontas story is like that is another story, because the real Pocahontas was almost none. Other thing that you see on Disney. Look from Atlanta, you look so pretty love your hair. I love to braid my hair when it's hot okay, we got a troll, we got a troll bye. It was good happy in here, not wigs, aren't very inexpensive. Also, yes, I feel you will use selling wigs um. What do you think y'all want any of those back there? Let me see so far. I have lunch yeah. I got at least 20 wigs back there Disney white wash yep Disney white wash too yeah. I feel you on that. I brought highlight puppet. Oh wow. I think I, like I wet the brush, you know I was trying something new. It'S like blinding. I want them all. Okay, okay, so I see you guys wear wigs because you want you want to protect your natural hair if you have natural hair, because sometimes it's just not always practical or you don't have the time to upkeep, because you know some of us are in college. We have jobs, we have kids. So that's one reason and then, if you're like me, like how experiment on my channel you just like to switch it up, follow the trends like if the owner Taylor is wearing orange. I'M gon na try orange gosh darnit, so so for those reasons as well. So I see you guys, I kind of like me. We were mates for different reasons now, like in the stage I am now like, I'm like super creative now and I do whatever I want to do so. I might grow into I'm grow more into like being different, because when I used to try like different colors like purple or like a really short cut or whatever the case is you know you got to go places you got to walk around, you got to go To the grocery store - and I live in like like a white neighborhood, so I got to go to a grocery store in, like 22 inch purple hair, you know or like a head scarf one day and then 22 22 inch purple or the next day, and then The next day I have a cute summer Bob, so I have to go in public like that. So now it's like I'm more comfortable. So it's like f what everybody else thinks I just do what I want. So I make wigs just just for the art just for the fun of it and you didn't. I just started wearing wigs and we're so in four years you got tired of the maintenance, so wearing wigs is new to me. Also my natural face off saying: I feel you um somebody asked: how does my husband feel about me having wigs on we'll talk about that? We'Ll talk about that in a minute, someone said: the problem: is I'm a 15 year old Brook kid? So I take what I can get, which is synthetic news same girls. Same same same so when I was in high school, I was super poor. When I telling you, I didn't even go to the grad night, because my mom didn't have any money right and I almost didn't go to prom. I think my mom paid my comfy late tell us another story, but I had to have to UM do with what I had, but I still did all the coolest stuff. I did my own cornrows. I did my own Fox berries. I did my own pony tails. I did my own weaves, it was like it was a lit. It was like, even though I had like no money, but you find a way so someone says which guinea are you wearing. Now it's from my first wig video, I did a like a quick recap of three of the hottest summer bonds. I think that would be great this summer. So many questions you guys. Thank you so much. I love so many different wigs long straight big curly. You want to try a shortcut, big ol crochet. Can you review how to crochet wig I can buy from the store or online all right mate. I saw the other day. I saw a crochet weight online from one of those beauty supply store companies. I didn't know they existed, so I'm guessing they started making them now. I was curious as how they actually look or how they make them, because they have to like mass manufacture that I'm so much sure if they're handmade. So I'm curious, I forgot which brand it was you guys, but now I'm more even interested to try it. But like um, someone said: what's that, oh, oh, that online already made, I have a few some girls, I know, do so crochet wigs. I want to try almost it was a name trust trust I tresses from taste pink and I've seen some girls on Instagram, that's so crochet weights. I haven't because I know how to make my own anyone else, but if you guys watch my last video I'll be making a few of them, so you can sign up to my mailing list and then, whenever I'm, whenever I make them again I'll give you a Chance order here she is that's one of my crochet wigs, so guys what were you talking about? Yes, I'm saying where, where I am now it's like, I have to go into public just with who I am and it's like not normal, but who cares if it's not normal, but it's who you are, I think he just has to go with who you are Rather than being normal, which doesn't exist and then not being allowed to express yourself, you don't and I feel, like my eyes - black women - that's a revolving door for us, because I was talking to my husband today and we were like, like if a black woman wears Her natural hair right, we were just recently learning how like to take care of our hair to make it like flourish. Look soft, feel soft and be healthy. A black moon works for natural hair like if it's not like at its best. We get clowned made fun of whatever the case is, then we straighten it and then we get clown made fun of again because we sure in our hair we don't like the natural state of right here when we just wanted it to be more presentable. So, okay, no natural hair, no straight hair, so we got a sew-in. Why? Because it last longer, you can have the same look every day now the Sun is like too much tension. Why you paying all that money to just you? Don'T like your hair white! If you know that money to get white woman's hair exponent, so we're like okay - well, I mean wigs are a little bit cheaper. These are more convenient, so we're wearing wigs and now we're getting bashed for wearing wigs to protect our hair. So it's like, you just start the cycle all over again, so you take off your wig and then people wonder why your hair looks like that because you take off your wig like. Are you okay? You know so who agrees with me that was loaded. I was a loaded at conversation, but we were just talking about it's just like a revolving door. We can't we can't do anything without being really ridiculed because I feel like I feel like only when it's a trend are we like appreciated and in our hair tubes. Oh, my gosh, so many comments. Oh yes, yeah hit. The like button. People show her some love exactly you agree and you get it you get it. Somebody says why people don't know. They'Re chefs we go through just to make our hair look good, amen. Young! You know what's funny: it's like it's like we're, so we're hyper visible, because we don't realize that white women wear extensions as well and they wear wigs to. I don't know like if it's more or just as much as black women do. But it's almost like that's kind of ignore its it's. Not it's! Not it's, not it's not in our consciousness, to critique other races for doing the same thing like I was just thinking like when you launch real a house of it Real Housewives of Atlanta right. I don't watch that so more, but I see like on Twitter, you know the whatever happens and you know not have the primarily one White House, wife, which is kin, have y'all ever seen: Kim's natural hair, where the hair that grows out of herself I'll wait. The answer is No Kim wearing wigs every single time. You see her right, but you don't see Kim as the lady with the wig. You know, you see Nene's weight, you see, Porsches wig were Kenya's wig or what's the other girl's name, a really rich one. You see Kandi's wig, but you're, not saying oh Kim, doesn't love her hair because she's wearing a wig every episode and she has that burnt. Leave on the front. No Kim doesn't get the same critique as Nene when Nene is experimenting with the wings that she loves. Where she gets an upgrade and her salary, she upgrades her wigs and then she's made fun of for it and then even another short watch was a shark tank. If you guys love um, you know like on investor, investing, shows or pitching shows like Shark Tank, where they have like the billionaires and really rich people. You saw them in your business I and then sometimes they can invest in your company um. Thank you guys for the comments, yes damned. If we do damned, if we don't so I'm watching short tape, and I have a good eye right, I know when somebody wearing a wig, even if nobody else can tell I can tell just by one look. So I'm looking Am I my wig dark. My wig darn goes off. If you guys know Laurie, which, if you don't want short tank shark tank, is one of the really rich women on the show um. So I see her hairline, I'm like. Oh, that's a cute Eisley and the more I watch her the more I realized. Yes, this woman wearing wigs like a lifestyle - I don't know she just doesn't want to like burn her hair to like stir in it. Maybe she has a certain pattern: that's not manageable! For her busy lifestyle, yes she's super rich, but I'm thinking Laurie she's not known as a woman with a wig on the show, even though she wears. Maybe nobody ever talks about it. But if it was a black woman it would she would be like. Oh, the woman with the make on shark tank and I'm like well, nobody has ever commented on the fact that she wears a wig like it was a bad thing. It'S almost like never discussed or it's never in our consciousness. Somebody said: do i watch let my hip hop ACL? No, I don't watch anything. I watch netflix. It got so much. It got too much to keep up with y'all 11 hip hop ATL New York, Miami of Beverly Hills Hollywood. Then there is Real Housewives. There'S that the other then there's there's somebody shows it got too much. We keep up on it, but once in a while I go on and then I'm like yeah. What'S she wearing today and I look at the hair styles and stuff come on. I wish somebody said: can we get away collection? Video do you're, my husband in background. Come come on baby, sure sure. So some of you guys cuz he's helping me he's helping me with alive cuz with the technology and stuff. I don't know how to you know, set up. He said on my mic for me. So thank you, husband, hello. Everyone. Can you hear me hey so I said hey. You know it's funny. My true personality comes out when I'm around my husband, yeah cuz. He gon na be like clear Jamaican, I'm like yeah, but it's like sweet peace, as I'm sure I'm not shy. Unless he's not shy, actually he's not shy from Jamaica yeah we're both of Jamaica, but it's like when I'm around him. I feel more comfortable, but because I was raised here, if not, if I'm not around another Jamaican, it's like, I I retreat to American mode, that's a weird thing to unpack, but yeah you guys when I'm around my husband, I I talk a little slang or I Get more comfortable around him, how long have y'all been married five years this month, you guys so people are asking. If how do you feel about me wearing race? How do I feel well in her case, it's different, because it's mostly for work, I mean I don't have a problem if she wears a wig every now and then every night every day I mean it's different. She works she ready for work, and I understand that she's showing you guys like how you can take care of natural here and not have to you know, spend a whole bunch of time doing it to the mornings like, for example, I just started growing up my Here and I'm realizing that it's a lot of work to keep it natural here, well moisturized and healthy, so you know I get it. I don't have a problem, they never know. I mean I want to see it or not. Go here, though, so every now and then you see it every day I mean like well, I see that would be yes when I started you like wearing it, because he got a stretch of his class so often for the videos. I don't seek that much well. Actually, what you think yeah I mean you know I'm fine with over a big, sometimes and they're. Not so here sometimes it's. I understand I understand I'm not like okay like like, so I love it. I love it because he's seen this certain way, so that kind of repels other women, but once you get to know him, he's little charm charm of the pans out for you yeah exactly it's so much shiny, yes muscle tips! You were saying I was sympathy for me. Oh yeah. I was gon na say that I know that some black men - they have an issue with it, but you know being with someone who wears it all the time and you know she does tutorials and all that stuff for you guys. I understand why you guys would hear me so I'm good, so I wouldn't know from you guys like what do your significant others think about your lifestyle? Could you follow me you've experimented at least a little bit, so I just want to know from you guys how the hell jeez? How do your men react? Do I name my wigs yeah, some of them some of them, but it's like so many then after a while I stopped naming them happy anniversary. Thank you, she's. Some. I think you should make into yes. Yes, I was fun fact you guys. I was born in Jamaica. I know I don't sound like it. I was raised in Florida he was raised. He was born in Florida raised in Jamaica, so long story short. We ended up in the same place and I think that's. Why were together yeah that University working boy, so I said my hubby loves that he never knows who he'll get with the week when the wigs with the mix which up? I know that means. I know that means that's funny. I feel you with especially with that on Rihanna and savage lingerie, get you a new wig in some drink sure as he was looking at it today. Tell me what happened when you're like oh I'll, get some party line yeah, but you were like. Oh my god, she's like I didn't, expect some of the pieces. So it's so cute. Someone says Synthetica right here, so guys, I'm wearing her name is shawni by outre. She'S synthetic, but it's a texture that makes it look real and she's like a like a wet look, wavy bob somebody says I'm married to McDonald's. I think my chicken nuggets don't mind my wig, you guys. Let me pull my wig off at any time in the car in the house. I don't care same and someone asked what's my most embarrassing week story man, I have one, but I don't remember right now. Well, I can tell you yesterday cuz, you guys know. I have like like weird acne or acne, but I can't explain it so. I'Ve been getting chemical peels to help get like a lot of small bumps off my face, so I have to go there every week umm. So yesterday I had to film at the film before I went so I put on my headscarf. You know my African print head start for the top, not bun. So you know I go in welcome to the live facial appointment on okay, Jackie, her name Jackie, like jacket, jacket, Decker Decker taken, but I go jack on the hey Jackie. I laid down Jackie's like none now family, I'm gon na have to sit back starfox. Okay, okay, I just took the scarf off and - and I had my wig cap on in the in the spot, to get my facial done. So it's like it's something. That'S it wouldn't be embarrassing. Otherwise - and we cap it at the small - I what's her name, my Felicia braids it would, it would be embarrassing of some people, but not nice. For me, we got Felicia Ruiz um from Friday when they say bye, Felicia yeah. I think she crackin, I think Felicia always want to borrow some somebody's TV or something yeah. Someone says synthetic pigs are in and someone else says they are, but some women try to throw shade at other women for wearing them. I mean that's what I don't get, but I feel like this world is like full of so many different people and even among us, black people, people have all different kinds of opinions. So I'm like getting used to that now. I don't see it. It'S like team. This or team that, like it, used to be like team team youtubers showing out of your hair versus team professional stylists that pay for their education and charge to do services used to be like team stylist vs. team youtubers. But it's like it's just an opinion. You know so if someone can learn how to do something online for free, I mean that's a different value than someone you go and save your time. You save a lot of time. You go pay the money for it, so I don't have to. I don't see it as team this versus that, and if someone raised synthetic wigs because they only have 20 dollars in the pocket or they can buy five of them - 400 dollars versus buying like a third, a third of their savings for a real human hair wig. It'S like that's, that's their that's their shake, that's their that's their that's their um! That'S what they like. So a mask is questions they're like discrimination when it comes to weeks like synthetic versus yeah. Originally, here we yeah. It'S, like. I think it's a lifestyle. Wigs are a lifestyle like um, I feel like if the women who are really into like the lace frontals or like the human hair, wigs that'll drop like when eight sex like $ 800 $ 1,000 on hair and installation. All of that, some of those like a small percentage of those people, despise people who are synthetic wigs but there's another there's another person versus a different lifestyle, which is you know, convenient, easy and cheap but and they'll think oh you're, paying that much for a way. But they'll say well: they'll disagree with better the person who spend like $ 1,000. Oh my hair insulation up, keep it, but it's like why can't we just do what we do. If that's, what rocks your boat yeah, I mean we, I feel, like some people just spend money, what they spend money on, what they want to save money on yeah yeah. Some people don't wear weave our makeup at all I mean. Is there some wrong fat nope? But they when they go to the club, they go to the bar or they're, invest in like purses or cars or shoes. You know we're technology. A lot of people have every iPhone that comes out. That'S that's a splurge or an investment or a lifestyle and do a bash iPhone team. Iphone. You don't see. People like I'm telling you hit yourself. Can you buy an iPhone and you just drop $ 1,000 on phone yeah? Sometimes sometimes we don't make any sense amongst each other. Honestly, Oh wish. Somebody said the wish app gives great Remi lace fronts at a good price. I have. I have like a love-hate relationship with a wish app because I hear a lot about it like good things, but they want to be using my pictures like what's up with that. What'S the wish, though, it's like, like a cheap sight. Kinda, like a you know like a Aliexpress or one of those sites, he gets em for cheap, but it's like a knack. Okay, can you get anything like an Amazon, maybe for like for cheap stuff, but they all use my pictures. Without my permission, I'm like nothing. So that kind of repelled me from using a wish up, so am i doing like a giveaway giveaway for the summer? Yes, I am. I have a lot of stuff to give away. It'S just a matter of giving it away. I have bundles. I hope on this giveaway I have. I have some crochet here, it's a giveaway I have so. I hope - and I also have a 500 cake coming up so so get any 500k and I'll. Do it real big guys, but at the at least next week. I'Ll have a giveaway coming. Somebody said I love both iPhone and galaxy. Yeah like I have. I have Mac computers, but I have Samsung phones. I don't know why because notice me, he forced me to get it. No, I feel like a note. 8 is like a business man's phone, but is like an entrepreneur's for my culture when we have enough money that he said, yeah cause this thing: yeah. Okay, so it looks like some people love which some people hate wish. They say they say some thick stuff. Someone says someone said they had a good experience, Oh a phone case, so I said yes because I'm 16 I'm smudged, make me swear, but I find it hard to buy bundles to do reviews on. Yes, you don't have to you. Don'T just work with your budget. Yeah yeah Chan now we're talking about like all different kind of stuff, so we're stopping what we're on phones we're on leak bashing. Someone says how you had had your wait ever falling off when you always make it and you always make it out, we don't make out with a we go like I mean we're married. So the short answer is no marry it so like it's. It'S pretty sure it sometimes sure hey Jody hey. Should I not never use the wish? Okay thinking. Thank you so much for repeating that question, because I once missed it so I said: can we get an Amazon wig review haul? First impressions? Yes, I was looking. I Amazon I've seen these wigs. I was like. Oh, these are true, but I mean you know you can't trust everything you see online. I was looking at the reviews and thousands of people seem to like these really cheap, wigs and they'd be like pink blonde. Blue gray, I was like oh and then I saw it's my ray-ray. She did a video on it, so I really want to try one. How do you know if your 613 bundles are over bleached Chaves? That'S a good question. I don't know I feel like there's. There'S a color scale, so um you can probably find that online like the color is that it should be when here gets to its lightest. Amazon has good ways: Oh your sister just bought one. Today she likes it. Yes, I want to try what a new super cheap. All right guys are we talking about? Oh, so you got the one that raver got. I want to get that one two guys you got clippings from Amazon, you love them so and we love Amazon. Then sorry y'all, sorry y'all wish fans. I guess team Amazon have. I ever use no doula, I'm guessing. She met in a doula here nope. I only trust like one company. Why don't you companies or Aliexpress and that's the one I do - reviews them. So hey guys. The lake with the lake verdict like do we do we care at this point, are we just gon na keep going through the same cycle of defending ourselves against something that shouldn't even matter? It was funny outside outside another story. You guys what's funny, I thought about this recently again and I guess it's a story time so story time. I, when I did a video about a month or two ago, it was about like at least like doing your own, so in so I made it like. I showed you guys hide your own so and I show you guys how to make your own, whatever the case is, but the clothes you're on, but since up rentals have been out, you, girls have been asking me. Well, how do you lay the front to like how do you do that without damaging your hair or whatever? The case is so, I feel like a so in video with the frontal, and it went viral like on, like on a hair forum sees me, you know, you don't want to tell them what you here for um I mean we can I just hate the black Home like hate here, I'm telling you so I yeah so video went viral, I'm like so many people are talking about this, but someone had linked me in one of my videos: they're, like girl, you're, getting dragged, I'm like what so it went. It'S like pages and pages and pages and pages of people talking about like why we asked me as black Commission, you put it on that on their head. That'S why I Harry can't girl or it's not for me. That'S why I were in this, and I were at that or she did this and she did that best too much, but I'm like okay and, like obviously, some people actually do we're in the hairstyles like. Is that so hard to come to terms with like? What do you want us to do so they be like? I said we do one thing we're bash. We do another thing, we're bashed, but then at this point we just do whatever the hell we want to do and people still have a problem. So I think our conclusion is that the world can just stay bothered. You thought yes, I fun making that video. It'S always cool like doing new things. I was like okay, this worked this works. I can write this for a while and then you go on to the next one and you like learn from the experience like making beats like installing that they gon na head. Luckily, it was a summon, it was a summon and it was. It was so easy for me that time I was like wow. This actually works can ask question sure what do you think I'll get on a livestream? So what do you think like, for example, beyond saying yeah, we're mates and everyone will love her, but even like a someone, that's alone? Yes, we're going here, but as someone who's not like a celebrity hits a bunch. I hate for it even from the same person that you know, loves these celebrities and pose them like an agency. Oh yeah, do you think that's something I've been thinking about a lot lately, because I think what we like the trends we follow has a lot to do. Someone says peak of blush Beyonce. Are you guys? Are you guys, beehive or many curious, but anyways like a lot of what the trends are are based on? Like entertainment and people don't realize it sometimes like? If you see a lot of girls wearing like a certain style, all at once is probably inspired by like a Beyonce or like whatever technique they use in the entertainment industry. You realize that, like the the concept of white lace, at least closures mm-hmm, they weren't know. I knew like how Beyonce did it for like a long time until people finally found now and all the regular girls started wearing it, and then they figured out how to do Beyonce's like blonde that looks super natural and then all the red new, regular girls started Wearing it, let's see, so would you what were you saying? Why do they like the unthinking yourselves yeah they like when celebrities wear it? If he's like their friend or something else, is kind of like laughter, she's, weird cuz, we I think we idolize people sometime, not me, but as a society, we idolize people based on like images and like um like what they do in entertainment in the videos. The way be honestly, it makes people feel they kind of Revere her. You know higher than higher than like a common person. Alright guys, I thinking, looks with Q & A soon someone says I love, I love both Rihanna and Beyonce. They used to talk about our edges, it all founds. It all falls down some money with the Beyonce thing she's staying with on here, someone says I have to get her a concert in August and know I'm not a fan. I would love to stay, but I got ta work. Bye, bye, your own. She got work early tomorrow tomorrow, Saturday, the work life I want to do. I want to do it yard sale in the morning. Do you guys do like to go 13 Arad sailing? I want to I'm looking at him because I want his buying. You got ta go with me. We can do it a Saturday morning. Is it gon na, be tomorrow I'll go myself? If someone says I like Christina Aguilera, I take that she has a really nice voice, really nice natural voice. Okay, let's speed it up, people find anything everything about their just dance room: okay, I'm gon na address your guys comments and then we're gon na. Do a Q & A don't come from me, Beehive lol team room eat yeah like I have a love. I have a deep love for Rihanna like her her I kind of mean over her own cells like she does, whatever the hell she wants island. I really maybe I really respect that like and I think her public image she was able to elevate her brand in her public image without the dependence of like a man where I wasn't, they were defined by her relationship or who she was sleeping with, and I Really loved that I missed, I miss your clothing haul videos. Yes, I miss them too. What had happened was what had happened was. I was in like a deep, like depression because like when it gets cold here and black people, we were already low in vitamin D. So we kind of get like in like a seasonal, affective type of mode and then there's like no more to go when you buy clothes and it's so cold. So now that is summer, I kind of wanna and then and then I stopped shopping like altogether. For a while, I just stopped buying clothes, and now it's like I want to get back into it. So I want to try like more more like, like African fashion, like cute classy, sexy and trendy clothes cuz. I think that's my style, someone says yeah. I agree. Someone said it's because of who they are, why we love celebrities and don't like regular people who do the same thing of the celebrity's me angry in New York City. I would love to I love to UM. Hopefully I can. What month is this me? I want to plan on this summer. Definitely definitely it's funny how like Kim Campbell from short to long, but no one questioned it. I think I hope that well, Kardashian situation is interesting because it further accrues. My point that um that we're desensitized to other races. What other races do, but black women are like the saint billed for all of society's problems, so I mean Kim K wears a wig. No one cares Kylie Jenner invents, wigs or she she wish. She said she started wigs. I'M like okay! Okay, do you do you? I'M team, my dances, okay, I love the art sale. Yes, Monique. I used to do with my mom all the time when I was younger. I missed that nope, not even Kim K stay with one says: babies, yeah ventually. Is this a $ 27.00? Yes, girl, nice. At 2700 we get look so good. Thank you. How are all day China had to go? I had to go get groceries. I went to the gynecologist. I ran some errands. I checked my mailbox, it's I'm. I ran around this week. I just don't like when the Kardashians say they started the cornrow strand. I did. I really didn't like I feel like it's all. It'S all with the media feeds. So pretty like those kind of stories I just like throw it out like whenever I, whenever I take in like these information, if it's not relevant, I just throw it out. So a lot of the Kardashian stuff gets thrown out my mind as soon as it comes in my mind: okay, guys so Q & A session. What questions do you guys have and fYI? My first live was really good. I had so much fun. I just like talking about different topics with you guys and it was it's. It was cathartic to get off my chest about the whole big situation, because I mean being hyper visible online. It'S like it's, like I'm responsible for everything, and sometimes I just get tired of it. You know like I'm, not I'm not because of every problem, and I feel like it's not even though it's not even about the hair, it's not even about the league's. It'S just an online community of people doing what they love to do and we're we're blamed for it. I feel USA, Michigan, Michigan, hey cute babies, I'm sure um we've been talking about our babies, like our baby's gon na are gon na. Have some big thighs, because we both have big thighs? We both haven't yet yeah what else thick thighs and get to you. Someone says what are some good beauty supply store here, that you can add color for a quick leave day. That'S a tough one! There'S so much now like now, the beauty supply store sells virgin here. So I would definitely explore that cuz ever in here, it's pretty affordable. Someone says: where did you get this shirt every moment matters? Where do I get the shirt baby? This is not my shirt. I borrowed from this guy all the time, oh this from your job. Yes, um, nice previous, it's like it's like one of those shirts that you own that you collect. I collect a lot of shirts from like events from college. Whatever the case is, and like it's cute, someone says: when did you start wearing weights? When do I start? Did I glue the back of my wig? No, no, no! It'S a colon and a cap and I'm strapped to order. When did I start wearing it? Yeah? Oh, you know what I started wearing half wigs before I went full full-on least wig, and that was in. I think I was in high school or probably I was like, maybe 18 19, but I did brings all the time I'm going to next. One. Have you ever been skinned by a hair company you call up with. I know this game. I hear companies and I paid money well, even more, even with that time we did a collab and they messed up the Commission here. Does that count? What are you talking about? You don't remember, have ever been scammed. No I'm been scammed. Well, I think they're talking about like wasn't here bad or did they do they hair like burn up or was it like? No, it's company Columbus, my Minsk and like like you did like you did the video. Are you gon na get compensated fairly? Somehow I think that's what you're saying that's like competing with a lot of stuff behind the scenes, like you guys, know every now, and then, when we do like sponsored video, just you know conversate for a time. Let me spend do all these videos on our channel or whatever, or you know, to pay for all these sub enrollees wait for this makeup, but I think I get that last year I got paid, but after that the Commission, the Commission was like messed up and I like yellow, can you check this out and then they were not willing to check it out? Okay, they were not cooperative yeah, so I must have lost some money there, but shorts but yeah. I wasn't like I didn't. I didn't keep it in my heart because that stuff will destroy you, I'm not building any like a resentment or anything. I still get my earrings, we go. Oh my earrings beauty supply store girl, a dollar, a dollar, a dollar. It sparkles a lot which I'm like: how do you do it a back of a 360 week? I actually don't do 360 weeks controversial topic. I don't do them like I'm like. What'S the point because it's like, if they're not guaranteed, to fit everyone, so I'm like how do you just make a 360 frontal? And you know people who don't all have the same head? So it's maybe like on 10 % of the people. Don'T look good! The other 90 % have to do something to make it fit their head. What do you know what may be baggy or some like that? Would you try them? I don't know my head. A small review, I'm just over one can okay, some thinking. What am I going to do? It'S like I'm gon na have to like cut it and then sew it back up. There'S no way. I could fit you something like with the frontal you can put a rubber band and make it fit snugly mmm, but make it bit snug, but with a 360 there's, no there's nowhere to go because all one circular lace. So that's not that's! That'S not something that we took. I like it three six six it took some turns. I don't follow. Sometimes I don't follow, but have you guys try like I haven't, tried full lots, because I can't find a way to make it look natural. My friend Tommy did make a tutorial on how to make it look really cute, but I started the crocheting of it, but I don't try the full locks and I haven't tried 360 frontal. It'S just one of those things about you like I'm, not yet I mean it's just I interested in wanting to try that's right, good things. I don't know just show them your experience, okay, but I won't have to buy it because anyway, I'm having somebody sponsor me and then I mean like yeah. This is trash I'll. Rather by myself. Before I get scammed, that's a good question. I'Ve I've been the brilliant beauty since 2014-2015 around there, but I have my channel since 2011. My original channel name was the named after my little brother, which we used to share an account way back in the day we swatch videos together on the same account, and I didn't know how to like, make a new account. So when I did my sewing videos in college, the ones that went by were like a long time ago before I actually started uploading regularly. That was like 2011. I don't even know how to make an account. So I just use the same. My brother unites issue. Look what inherit world can keep moisture from your natural here. People are your natural here and help eczema on the scalp. Oh, I think we're quick reviews would work. I'Ve heard good things about shea moisture, helping excellent, ok, my ceramic like eczema like on the hands and stuff, but I know tea tree oil mixed in with carrier oils like a hobo, or something like that. If you research, like tea tree oil or I do use Head and Shoulders by my sharp it's good for eczema, and I do use um yeah, mainly mainly teacher rule now, if I'm gon na go the natural route, but you want to look up different, like mixtures And potions that can help with your specific problem. Do you have a preference for straight here or curly hair extensions? Oh curly, hair doesn't work for your face. Shape um, I feel like curly. Hair has a wide range there's there's long and curly they're short and curly. There'S big and curly, like some curly hair frames, your face like like this crochet big right here. You can cut it and customize it to your own face shape, but you might want to try. Maybe Oh, what I do is what I like to do is I go to Google. I type in whatever my face shape is like, for example, I want to cut my hair really low, but I have a long head right. I have a long like oval head and usually with short haircuts people have like square faces or like they don't have like the pointy chin or like the ground like oval face. So, yes, I have to look at my specific head shape with a hairstyle that I'm looking to get so you might, you might want to type in with what your head shape is or your face shape and then writing. Curly hair, like tie curly, hair, natural hair or long curly, hair, formal face or square head or square face, or whatever cases next question yeah, that's what I meant do not get paid for your work. Yeah got pay, but not all of my money, but that's that's. In the past, have you ever met another UT personality and they weren't who they thought they were. I met so many people, but the thing is my: I feel like I'm getting more mature, so my expectations aren't like super high these days. I have the understanding that aren't happy understanding that people are really multi-dimensional. So if someone isn't going thought they were well, what I'm responsible for is who I thought they were so who I thought they were is based on my experience and what they portrayed to me. Do you see what I'm saying so if they were who they weren't? Who I thought they were like? I don't really take it that seriously, but I yeah I meant so pretty like mean or snobby folks, but it's like once you got to know someone. I feel like that's that's what really matters real quick. What'S on your lips, yes, colour-pop, that was in the beginning of the life you for watching the replay. You guys give me a thumbs up again. I did show my lipstick Iringa. Why were you doing on the video yeah not for a while, though, are there any new ponytails? I don't know what type of wigs do to pick when you have a big head. Just Google type wigs for big heads and they'll show you pictures of people with big heads. Can you wash hair that's already glued like a 30-second long? Do I mean if, if you really need to yeah, but usually not usually not, but you really need to me, you just patch up the rest, if it, if any of it gets loose, see, watch jazz Nicole, she makes natural for like weeks, Oh wigs, she makes Her own wigs hard for like weeks they'd, have to go check her out. Oh you always do my favorite color purple hey! What'S funny, I gave purple a break. I stopped wearing purple as much as I did. I used to wear purple hair from her lipstick. Like all the time all the time, but now, as you can see, my color is red on the lips lately. What does the one guess we do have the costing? What was the cause? Hey I'm eight when I make my really cheap leagues, the one the ones that cost me less than $ 20, I keep them for like a year or two and then I clean out my stash and I'm like yeah. You got ta go so two years max longest longest way, guys in length. Probably Oh, what is the longest meet? You have 26 inches. I had a 28 one time and I had to cut it to inches. I should try goddess locked. I definitely want to try it this summer. That'S on my way. That'S on my video list. What'S the fastest way to grow natural hair, I don't know you might want it. I want to see a stylist because I feel like everybody's natural hair is different um. So your stylist can actually assess your hair Earl, so you gon na have to go through like a long experimental process to see like how to grow your hair. What about those growth oils, I don't know everybody's here - is different, see anyone recently getting a whole bunch of interviews. She won't even check it out. It'S from what is from another content creator. Oh you guys watch on Sidora Parris I see. Is that a growth yes or is it like that girl? Oh, I got ta, try that and I got to try to. I need growth because I had like my hair spine in the middle. I'M not picking. It me your head noise things that men don't what is your college degree in? Oh public health, like health, education, like behavior change? What makes people eat healthy? How do you get food access in places that don't usually have food security like in rural areas? You don't let me get started. Y'All know like in rural areas like in the country they have like, they have like Mountain Dew and they have chips, but they don't have like fresh fruit. I'M like that's a real problem or coconut water yeah. They don't have coconut channel okay, guys, oh we're in an hour we're gon na wrap this up soon, quick story, so I went to school.

Patricia Delver: We are missing the point here. The question is not wearing a wig or not. The question is why wearing a wig ( or extension) that emulates white beauty standards? And if we are really honest with ourselves we should be able to identify the problem here. But I guess it's easier and more comfortable for black women to throw "versatility" in the conversation. You know very well it's not 100% true. Most black women do not like afro hair in their natural state and spend their time and money hiding it. Once we stop lying to ourselves we can start talking...

arbitrary_library: Black women should drive these hair stores out of business and reclaim their natural beauty.

inkon kanvas: I'm going to add this. If other people, including black men, are so fond of black natural hair, then why is it that most people treat us differently, like we are going militant on them or something when we do wear it natural, then give endless compliments when we straighten or cover it with something like wigs, wraps, etc. Why? I can say first hand that just about everyone makes a comment about my natural hair or wishes I would "do something to it." They will literally not speak to me in passing or general conversation. When I'm wearing the "proper" hair, they are much friendlier and accepting. People are lying to claim otherwise.

Binta G.: Hello Jodi, I watched your live yesterday and I just want to tell you that you're flawless! As black women, let's just feel free to do whatever we want with our amazing hair and let's not pay attention to people who want to drag us :)

egdowe: Yes other races wear weaves and extensions BUT the difference is the texture- it’s very close to the texture of hair that actually grows from their scalp.

Carolinagirl 1986: I think a lot of black women of my generation who were young girls or pre teens or maybe early teens of the early 90s, born in the 80's or even late 70s (I was born in 1986) had those Just For Me or PCJ relaxers put in their hair by their moms. My mom would NOT let me get one as much as I cried or begged because I thought my hair was gonna look like the girl's hair on the box and I thank her to this day now because my cousins who had them and had healthy hair prior to using those relaxers to this day their hair has never grown back and/or has never been healthy or same texture since and now as adults I think they're ashamed of their hair and wear wigs. I don't wear wigs. Haven't worn one since a child going trick or treating. I've worn braids, but never wigs.

inkon kanvas: Yes. I wear wigs because I don't like my natural hair and don't have half a day every single to fix it. My hair is below shoulder-length, thin, flyaway, without any curl pattern. I simply braid it around my head and stuff it under wigs. If I were I white woman with this hair, I would do the same as Dolly Parton.

Louis Ward: Question..... if you had a 10k engagement ring would you cover it up with a rubber band???? My point is.... if something is valuable in your eyes, you would show it off!!! Face it, MOST black women dont like their own hair or they would show it off like a diamond

arbitrary_library: Wigs are used to enforce white beauty Standards. You see white women out here wearing afro wigs?!!

MrAdhenderson: What I find sad is our peoples perception of beauty It saddens me that our women feel that they need a certain type of hair to feel beautiful! And unfortunately our men have contributed to this atrocity because of their attraction to white women and hair based on round hair follicles

Ginger Henry: It’s identity, a lot of black women lack identity and dependency on weave is their umbrella to water down their blackness. Imagine your whole lives you not living yourself , when they get old they will regret not being themselves

Mya's Wheelstaurant LLC: NO WORRIES, YOUR FACE LOOK GORGEOUS!!! SORRY I MISSED THE LIVE STREAM, I WAS SLEEPING :(

L Ann: Everyone knows its not our hair so why waste moneyÉ

Tina: I think it boils down to convenience. I'm natural, but I stay inside and don't ever really go out for fun because I am too tired to do my hair after working 15 hour days with 2 jobs. I don't wear a wig, but I don't get out to socialize either. Wigs are seeming like an attractive option at this point. Plus they make us look more stylish a lot of the time. There are bw who like me who live in buns, those who wear our hair curly, or rock afros..it's enough variety to appeal to whoever's interested in a particular look.

GOD THOTh 2: just tell them the truth girl.that they shouldn't wear some Else's hair , and all the good pride, and self knowledge stuff. stop fronting try make them think

Ramonafloyd: When u take care of your hair u can have your hair like the wig but some just wanna wear it to make them look like something they are not to be considered more exotic is to be attractive...

R. Higgins: If they wear wigs and weaves because they don't like their. Natural hair, then it helps validate that their hair is bad and nothing to love about it doesn't it? They can't deal with it's kinkiness, nappiness or whatever and like so many want it straight long and flowing. Please tell the truth

Toria Kabun: Your makeup was amazing during this live!

gcmacyman: It makes you think. On just about every TV show the largest % of black women wear wigs or weaves or braids. Not their own hair, but someone else's. Now non black women wear extensions and wigs etc but for Black women it's Overwhelming. AND when you just walk outside count the number of Black women and what's on their heads. Very few don't have someone else's hair on their heads. For Black women it's "not just hair" it's deep rooted in history because they've been told that their own hair is just ugly and I guess they believe it which is why so many wear wigs. Now medical issues, scalp disease, hair loss aside, it's way bigger among Black women and that's the truth. Say what you want, what do other Black women do when they see another Black woman with her own grown hair past her shoulders? Either cringe or comment or suspect and ask "Is that your real hair?" Now how many other non Black women ask other non Black women that question? Very few. Interesting. IN the 60's and 70's, Black was beautiful, women and men sported their beautiful Fro's and embraced the beauty. Then it went into relaxer mode then weaves and now predominately Wigs. Whatever. It's "not just hair" it's way bigger than people try to just nix off.

Are Sounds Electrik?: Very interesting video. Well done. When ever a black woman wears a wig on a reality TV show like Love Island, the twitter feed is full of commentary about the fact it's a wig. Most of the comments are from other black women. From my perspective, it's black woman making it an ongoing narrative, not the general public. All the blogs, videos and voices objecting to black woman NOT embracing their natural hair comes from other black woman. It sounds like 'wig dissing' is very much an internal criticism rather than it coming from outside the black community.

Caramelbeauty852: Hair is an accessory. I love my natural hair but I will wear the heck out of some bundles. People (especially men) need to stop trying to police what BW do with our lives. Much love xoxo

Susey Phoenixx: Ermm .. my hair has been falling out for 5 years now .. it grows back sometimes then falls out again .. I have a dodgy thyroid so yeah .. I love wigs and have over 150 and counting .. and I absolutely love your channel .. thank you for sharing your tips and tricks for styling etc ..

Melinated Vessel: First things first our hair needs babying.Afro textured hair takes lots of work ,it's very time consuming when you first starting learning how to actually learning about our hair and how to care for it properly. Our hair can be finicky, and heat can destroy the follicles so wigs are a way to avoid heat damage to your natural hair.So many reasons. I've been natural for about years, and trust me it's work wife help to switch it up without the damage it's not that hard to understand.

Mika: Love your wig and your so pretty red lips are my favorite too

MolierreSignoga: I think they just like LONG hair not that they don't like their hair. It's long hair they're seeking. When I get an itch for longer hair, I opt for wigs and weave

ifp123: Please, your thoughts: I have nothing against being presentable, BUT - PLEASE educate the younger black women to choose wig and weave hairstyles that FIT the persons natural features. When my daughter comes home wearing a Japanese waist lenght Barbie doll wig with 1 inch long eyelashes, it does NOT look right. Although I'm watching you and a cellphone, I can tell your makeup, eyes, and hairstyle is "tight."

kojo asare: Rock natural hair. Simple!

Monica Randolph: Really enjoyed watching

Olive Muriithi: I think, this is some how true..real talk...

solarLola: I wear wigs because its pre styled and ready to go and that's the honest truth. I do wish I can wear my natural hair out though it will just take time to style before work

MrsRuthie J: I would love for you to review Amazon hair companies that's are using your pictures without permission to see if the hair is actually good... I will send you a link of one once I find it...

Clarisa Raie: Wigs are a mood especially for me. Like how am I feeling what my outfit looks like am I feeling bold or conservative? Wigs are just a fun way to express and Chang up your look while still protecting your hair. I love my wigs lol they are all hanging in my bueaty room now

maverick211211: You can’t have gross faces and gross hair…. Since it’s cheaper to change hair enjoy the wigs

Courtney Henley: Maybe you do. But I love my natural hair, as well as, wigs and braid extensions and weaves and every other way I can play with my hair look. Plus, these are protective styles. Most white women in the spotlight wear wigs too. Do you really think that is Kim's hair? Or most Hollywood stars have their real hair? I say do what makes you feel the most beautiful. Natural or not.

Rayven In Wonderland: Hey girl i like your shirt.

71samrath: I am man from Northern part of Indian subcontinent, and i find black girls super hot, but hate those wigs - especially when I see that glue. It’s sad you girls don’t embrace your beautiful natural hair.

Weezy R: I dont know about other ladies, but I started wearing wigs to protect my natural hair. To keep from damaging my own hair with harsh chemicals from perms and dyes. I love different styles and it's more sensible to buy or make a wig with different styles then damaging my own with heat and harsh coloring. Wig wearing to me has nothing to do with me not liking the texture of my natural hair.

Mannie Ku: Your lipstick details PLEASE :).

Kerem Yolcu: no you dont.stop acting like another person.u dont like yourselves and being mad at racist people for not liking you ?

Super Smart Chick: I didn't know you finished your degree in MS, I'm from Mississippi!! Ayyyeee!! I live in the capital & it's hard to find fresh "exotic" fruit & food here.

Melinated Vessel: LOTS of black men NO NOTHING ABOUT OUR HAIR and the time consuming maintenance it takes to keep it healthy and thriving! MOST of them DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEIRS,THEY JUST CUT IT OFF. HER HUSBAND HAS BEEN EDUCATED ON THE TOPIC SO HE GETS IT! SOME OF THESE MEN NEED TO CATCH UP!

MyTwell: I missed the live stream

Jalandra Davison Smothers: I wear whatever I want. My husband is Korean and honestly never gave a damn about how I wore my hair. When I first met him I was wearing braids. He has seen men wearing an Afro, Braids, Colored Lace Fronts. It's actually is fun because I look different every month. One month I wear a long brown lace front and speak French. The next month I'll wear a green lace front with an Incredible hulk shirt. Then I'll wear and huge Afro and big Earrings. Then I'll wear a red lace front with red lips, my inner Jessica Rabbit. I always lived outside the box. Dress how I wanted, style me hair the way I wanted, love who I wanted, etc. I wear what I want.❤❤❤

missball404: I love the variety, afro, straight, braids, any color, long, short, etc, etc i love it women no matter the race have worn wigs, weaves ESPECIALLY in Hollywood

Kymberlie Montreal: I love this topic! Why are others so concerned with what you choose to do with your own hair? People will judge you for anything they choose so if it's not your hair, it'll be your nose, your tattoos, a crooked tooth, the way you believe etc... I wear wigs because I love them...period. If I had hair issues, identity issues, if I love myself, if I have hair that's long and kinky, soft and thin, bald or sparse....I love me. I see me. We have the right as WOMEN to express ourselves as we do choose! I salute you for addressing ignorance!

BB Tha Hammer Lane Diva: I like wearing weave because I can be a 24 inch blonde on Monday and a red 24 piece on Friday and whoever got a problem . luv your channel

Joe Kelley: ONE LOVE

lovelybutterfly32: I think people say the dumbest things in ignorance. Wig's have been around for centuries, first worn by Caucasian people. I actually have pretty good hair, no chemicals needed. My hair is longer than the wig I wear, past my shoulders. But I wear wigs to protect my hair because styling, heat, products and weather cause damage. Btw, you guys are a cute couple, love your hubby's accent.

Giulia.: Yes you do.

David Williams: This video together with all of the supporting comments is sad. So sad.

Leeza Newill-Cordington: Why can't black people be versatile with their own hair?

alan Donaldson: Just go back to your Affro's they look great

Christine Klein: Forehead so big pull wig down on forehead more. Love yourself be natural black woman soo much better. Save ur money instead of buying wigs.

Memphis10girl 901: Guuurrrr, them doe

Uanne: U didn' t explain the "more presentable" ?

keepthefaith: Afrowomen are becoming like white men is the 16th century. Wigs. I don’t get it.

Melinated Vessel: You look like Garcelle B. from the Jamie Foxx show. They are always using your image on those sites.

Ron Williams: It's self hate

enigma: Anybody got a TL;DW? I’m not about to watch a 1 hr 30 video

TorchBabyCMX: It's not even about them not liking their natural hair , america has adopted the European standard of beauty, that's why shampoo and hair product commercials always depict someone with straight hair and they use words like , lush, and vibrant , black women have been taught by the media and some of their mothers who believe in the same shit that their hair is'nt beautiful unless it's long, curly or straight

Princess B: I realy don't like my natural hair,it's lifeless,no shine, looks messy,i actually wish i was born mixed raced for the light complexion and the hair, everyday i question why we must have this type of hair,it's ok if it's in dreadlocks, but i actually think i look more attractive with the weave and could only dream of having hair like that,it's cause my natural hair to break and become so short and it used to be shoulder lenght,it makes me very sad,i can see why most black women have children with other races so that their daughter don't have to go through the struggles with this cursed piece of hair

Linda Randazzo-Trygstad: Washingtonian here!

Linda Randazzo-Trygstad: Hello from Washington State!

Tun Up Di Ting: lie lie lie black woman look like dude but dude hair grow faster

Ronni j: MOST BLACK WOMEN DONT LIKE THEIR HAIR ITS OBVIOUS...WE WEAR WEAVES, SEWIN'S ,AND CROCHET HAIR AND EVERYTHING ELSE.....AND THIS ISN'T COMING FROM HATE OR ANYTHING NEGATIVE IM A BLACK WOMAN MYSELF...AND GIRL YOU ARE SOO CREATIVE with your weaves, wigs, crochet and all hair things ...i love watching your videos

FlyLeelee: We've been wearing wigs since Ancient Egypt...it's nothing new! Google wigs found in Egypt...they're in museums! Afro textured ones, too!

Katrina Washington: I like to wear wigs because there always a different styles my hair is thick and long i dont hate it i like to do something new

splendor Inthegrass: I think people would stop talking shit if yall just owned it and were truthful. You wear fake hair because you don't like your own. It's not pretty. That's all. (I don't think black hair is ugly. its hair. Yall just tripping too much)

Olinda Ferreira: Heyyy

Jennifer A: Haters get thumbs down . I’m a white girl but love wigs and weaves. You get thumbs up and I love your tshirt

Mr C aS: I don't like black women hair either. I think white women look better. Are more feminine. And have some logic at least. I hope black women come to a realisation. But I think I will stick to the authentic things in life. No point in synthetic white girls. When you can have a real one.
