Foreign welcome back to the channel. If you are new here, my name is gabadina, but you can call me Gabby call me Mama gabs call me gabs just come gab. I can be singular. I don't mind all right. Welcome back to the channel you guys today. I have something a little different, we're gon na look at um. You know, most of my content is reviewing candles, that's what I love and I'm crazy about, but I I have a new wig to share with you. Yes, I do. I recently started wearing wigs. Well, it's been a few months now and um, it's been quite a journey. You know trying to find the ones that I like the ones that I feel are comfortable on my head and that I can wear for long periods of time and um just the style in general and um so anyway. I just want to share that with you. Why do I wear wigs? Well because I was losing my hair? Why else would I wear foreign? You know some people do wear wigs just for fun. They'Ve got a full head of hair and they like to change it up with a wig and honestly I mean it is a great way to change up your look um without doing you know permanent change to your real hair, so people wear wigs for all kinds Of reasons these days, they really have become a quite a fashion accessory. You know changing up their wig to go with their look just like choosing their shoes or what bag they'll carry with a look. I did start wearing wigs because I was losing my hair. I'Ve always had very, very thin hair and as I've gotten older, it has just continued to get thinner and thinner, and it was getting to the point where I just couldn't cover up my spots anymore, where I was comfortable with it um and I was noticing just Scads and scads of hair on the bathroom floor, I mean just enough that it it made me want to cry, and but I could tell I could visibly tell I was getting to the point where I was just having such a hard time getting my hair to Lay you know so that it would cover a spot and I'd get one spot covered, and then that would reveal another spot and it was just. I was chasing it all the way around my head so anyway so said all that to say I got a new wig all right, so I um my very first wig that I purchased. I did my measurements and I could not accept the fact that I have what they consider to be a large head. My circumference is 23 inches and that is um. What goes into the large category for sizing couldn't accept that, and I had been watching all these videos and um. I came across a few videos where they said well. If the wig is too tight, you can do this and that and the other to stretch it out, you know and and make it fit properly. So I thought I'm just going to order an average size. Certainly it's going to fit me just fine. I can't possibly have that big of a head and I got it and naturally it was too big too big. I had to do all the things all the tricks that they said, and it still was too much to the point where it was. It wasn't so tight that it hurt, but it was tight enough that it was giving me a headache which I already have enough issues with my head. I don't need that adding to it and um it would want to just pop off my head. You know like when you try to pull something on this too tight and and you let it go and it just curls back the other way to retract. That'S what was happening. I get it stretched out on my head and it would just want to retract and pop up off the top of my head. So my very original wig, if any of y'all, remember that one I just I just can't wear it because it I can't get it to stay on my head. It is a fight. I have it on and off on and off all day long. So I finally gave up on that one and I've been buying large size which um at the websites that I look at. You really don't get a good selection for large size. Now there there are some brands that um apparently run larger than others, and so those of us that have a large melon could get away with wearing the average size I hear. Aesthetica is one of those and eventually I want to purchase one of their wigs to try it to see how it fits. But anyway, I am with I I've just rambled on and on. I need to get to the point. I have gotten stuck on Jon renau's ignite, that's what this one is, and I have another one that is uh and just in a different shade of blonde. It'S warmer more gold tones in it um, and then I got this one to get away from those gold and yellow tones. Well, now that we're entering fall, I am missing my darker hair, I'm missing my brown hair, so I got a different one. I got another shade, so ordered this from namebrandwigs.com. This is what it looks like. This is a Jon renau, smart lace, HD means heat defiant, so you can take heat to these wigs and um. Let'S see, let me show you the tag. You know you open your box now. I'Ve already opened this to look at it, but you open your box. They'Ve got it hidden back here. This usually Jon renau is turned inside out. It'S got a little net wrapped around it. Oh here's my tag here. What'S the color toffee truffle puffy truffle, they don't have, they have the number. Oh, they do: FS 6, 30, 27, toffee truffle all right and then with John Renault. So far with every one of these wigs that I've purchased um, they have sent me a wide tooth. Comb and not knowing that when I first started this whole thing, I ordered a wide tooth comb, so I've got lots of combs laying around, which is nice. They say for the Jon renau heat defiant, fibers you're only supposed to use a wide tooth comb and not one of the other brushes, but I've used my little skinny wire wig brush on it and I don't think I've caused any damage. But you know: okay, all right, so here's what we look like. I am going to take the tag off and uh, we'll just take a quick uh tour of this wig cap and then we'll see how it looks. I'Ve gotten so adjusted to this light blonde, which I I've never been this light of a blonde. You know I've always throughout my life. I'Ve gotten highlights lots of times. Oh, I did. I have been this light one time, because I continued to get highlights every time. I went to the salon to the point where I was just blonde all over. It was no longer highlights I'm getting hot. I need to buy my fan all right, so we've got our tags off so with this. This is, it is a lace front and then they've got velvet ear tabs. These are so soft on each side and in the tab is like a state, it's called a stays. I think it's a little metal clip, so you can kind of form that to your head and then you see the open, wefting, yada yada, here's the back. It'S got um. This is a velvet nape! Here'S your adjusters, it's just Velcro and I typically with this large cap I do have to pull in the adjuster, so I'll go ahead and do that now: um, okay, so we've worked our way around the cat. Let'S see what it looks like. Oh look at that. This is like a nice brunette with um, I started to say call uh caramel like caramel highlights, but you know they call it toffee toffee truffle, so here it is from the back from the side. Oh, I love that color. I hope I hope I can wear this tone. I hope this goes okay with my skin tone. Oh my gosh. I can't wait to put it on. Let'S do it. Oh, I need to grab. I need to fix this part real, quick before I put it on. They always come with a zigzag part. I don't know it just must be the way, the machines, because these are machine tied. You know this one does have some permatease in the top. Permatease is like where the um, the fibers, are a oh. It gives it some poof, I don't know if I can, if you can actually see the permatease you can, when you inspect it like when you take it off and you really look in there, you can see the permatease at the roots, it's like short and curly, And just kind of fluffy and Bunchy it's necessary for some Styles, especially something like this to give it some poof and some lift to help. You know this is supposed to be like stacked in the back and oh gosh. I can't wait to put this on. Let'S put it on see how it looks, and here she is, what do you think? What do you think? What do you think? Is it too much it's so hard to pick colors when you're looking on the website at those little swatches? But here we go so here's what it looks like on the left side and spinning. Here we go to the right. What do you think I do like it, though? Don'T get me wrong? I like it it's just hard to see myself like this after wearing that very very light cool blonde for so long, so it's taken some getting used to, but I just really felt like going into fall and winter. I wanted something different and I wanted to go a little darker and I don't know I kind of like it I kind of like it. I love um, the toffee highlights in it. If you can see that, so what do you think? Does it suit me or not? I know I'm opening myself up to just like crazy criticism, but for real. What do you think? Does it suit me or not? I know it's a change. Oh here's, my little skinny brush that I said that I use on it. It'S just a little skinny wire brush. It'S probably cost two dollars on Amazon. I got it in a wig pack with my very first wig. I bought this little pack of beginner stuff, the beginner kit and um heck. It'S even breaking already. If you can see that see how it's coming apart right, there oh shoot, but I like it um, so I may have to order another one on Amazon because they are so cheap and easily um come apart. I just use it like on these wigs. It'S I saw that you were only supposed to use the wide tooth Combs, and sometimes you need a little more of a closer claw to like really get in there and smooth it out. So I I'm just really gentle with it um. Just because I do it doesn't mean you have to do, I'm just telling you that's what I do and I'm very gentle with it. So I've not had any problems, and you know what I do like about this. This is what I'm finding interesting. So now I have three of these ignite: wigs from Jon renau, three of them and the fibers are all different and as far as the way they lay um, I mean it's basically the same, but I like the way this one lays better than that very light. Blonde one I feel like I have to fight with it um, and it has so many flyaways that light blonde wig has been the death of me as far as flyaways that I cannot tame or control I've pulled and plucked. So many of those hairs I've just plucked them out, because I could not get them to stay down even with heat. They just wanted to stick straight up or straight out from my forehead or you know straight down across my eyes. He wouldn't do it. So I plucked him out now I plopped to this thing on my head and I had to pluck two hairs out and that was it and I feel like there's: are there flyaways? Can you see any maybe just minimal you know and regular hair has flyaways. So that's, okay, if it's just minimal but um that blonde one was just driving me crazy so anyway, so now that I have this on, should I wear it or should I put the blonde one back on for the rest of my videos? What do you think? I don't know what to do set up and film or the rest of the week and do I stay brunette? Do I stay toffee truffle? Do I go blonde? What do I do you guys? Well, I hope um if you took the time to watch this. Thank you. I know many of you probably are not interested in wigs, but there might be someone out there that comes across this. That is uh new to wigs and they're, trying to figure out what they're doing and um just keep in mind when you're. Looking at this color, I do have a ring light set up above me and that can um make the color of this perhaps look different than it does under just regular lighting or even outside. I'Ve learned that wigs look much different with indoor lighting compared to outside. In the sunshine so keep that in mind, but if you're anything like me before you make a purchase, you are searching for wigs and the colors, so you can see it on different people and see what it looks like. So so there we go. There is my ignite in toffee truffle, thanks for watching love, ya, bye, see you in the next one have a great rest of your day. God bless
