Welcome back to my channel hi YouTube, I'm gon na say the same thing. I say all the time. It'S been a long time. Where have I been busy been doing my summer postal? Where have I been I'm a mess? You know you really got to make sure. I, like you're gon na, do this: do it right all right, don't have anything yeah I've been ma. I was in an accelerated program, and now I finally am free and literally it was like summer - and I just took my summer and I ran with it, and I was really just trying to enjoy my summer. Mom spend time with people that I didn't get to spend time with, because my head was in a textbook for 10 months and also with my family of course, and as you can see um I have switched it up. I actually switched it up and I went super platinum blonde in the spring and I never shot a video with that and then now Here I am. I am like two months deep with the gray hair and I'm finally shooting a video. So when I shoot reviews, I feel like people know that the hair is brand new and they're waiting to see how it is before they order. And you know they have to kind of wait until somebody shoots an update for them to see how the hair is holding up. This is two months deep. I'Ve had this hair since June. I'Ve had this hair since June now July. Now in August, and it it looks just like this - I washed it three days ago. I don't put anything in it, so this is it three days after washing. I have some surprises for you, so I wanted to like make some changes. I am just looking around for different ideas, so the inspiration for this ash gray, we'll call it hair, was coochie-coo russia. She was my inspiration, I think it was the beads he award not this year the year before that it was definitely 2015 and she had this ashtray hair and I fell in love with it. I also saw pictures of Rihanna circulating with ash gray hair, and so it was like I'm gon na hash, gray hair and I was a little worried. It was like funny on me, especially now that I have a tan in the summer, but I am loving it and I have to say that this is the most the most compliment I've ever ever gotten. It is super flattering I mean I can't really take that much credit, because I did not dye this hair myself. I literally just bought it like this, so I'm really excited to tell you all about it, I'm all over the place with this hair that I'm wearing. I purchased myself. I have to make that note. This review is just me and keeping up with my hair blonde. I like to share my hair experiences. I that's all I do all day is just watch vlogs on YouTube all day and look for different inspiration, ideas. So I first got into wearing units I'd like to call wigs the unit's, because I feel like we need to throw some respect on with names no um. But this is a unit and I started making my own units at first because, like I said in all my other videos, so ins we're just taking a toll on my hair and I didn't want to just sew in to all my hair. So I started out making my own units, and now I want to do all these fun colors and I'm finding that dyeing. The virgin hair that I'm buying is ruining the hair, it's a waste of money, and then I also found that buying hair, that's virgin hair, but then it's been dyed by the seller is extremely expensive. I'M like literally like a hundred to one hundred and fifty dollars a bundle for dyed hair. I think the money for that. That'S like five hundred dollars. I don't have peas, I like to worry about four-ish, bundles and my hair about four bundles, so that is the beginning of my journey and then I want to do all these fun. Colors, like I said, and I'm on a budget and working at my job that I work at now. I service women, mainly woman. I mean I do service the men, but mainly women, and you know I was noticing that these girls are coming in with their fly units that I'm like well nobody's. Gon na tell the difference. If I make a unit, if I buy a unit, if I'm wearing it, if I'm wearing this going, you rock it right, nobody go and tell, but I do share. You know the lady's share with me. They'Re, like oh, my god, k-town like don't like you know, they're like no, I'm like. Yes, on the note of switching things up um, I want you all to just take a look at the hair, anything that you like and don't like before. I ruin the surprise for you and let you know that this is not virgin here. This is high heat, synthetic 1 % synthetic high heat fiber hair, and let me read it exactly what it is um. This is a two-tone synthetic lace front, it's gray, silver hombre hand, tied whatever hand tied means, and this pair is from a Naugle hair wig store on Aliexpress. I'M going to sell it at the bottom of the screen, because I can't pronounce it. It is from Aliexpress - and this is my first unit - that I'm purchasing from Aliexpress and I paid $ 40 amount for the like one, because it was really long the longer that you want the hair, the more money it's going to be. This was 24 inches. I did, I did 24 inches right now, it's about like 22 to 20 inches. Let me stand up and show y'all. I cut it as you can see, and I want to just share my experience with you. So, ladies and a gentleman if he wants to take part in this discussion, this synthetic hair has pros and cons. I want to say the pros of synthetic here is that you can get it any color that you want. You can do fun colors without damaging it. It is wake up and go here, but you have to really take caution of wrapping your hair at night, so be careful of how you wrap it at night because it will take form too. However, you wrap it. My suggestion is, is I take my hair and I twist it in the back and to a bun, and then I put my silk scarf. You can take a look at myself. Take a look at myself scarf hanging on my mannequin head. I put that right. On top of my bun - and I call it a night when I take it out - my hair basically comes out with him like this, and the other Pro I want to say is that it is so inexpensive. Like I said, I paid 40 bucks for this. I actually paid about $ 30 for express shipping, so mine came out W dollars, I'm still willing to pay, but is because I was going away and I wanted to have my hair before I went away but other than that $ 40. And you know: Aliexpress has free shipping, but this store. The shipping was, they said 7 to 10 days and I'm the time for that. So I'm like you know you need to DHL it. It'S gon na come real fast. That came in three days. I told him it would that communication for this store is excellent for this dollar I reached out to them after I placed my order and then I reached out to them and because I wanted them to know that I was really gon na pay. This $ 30 - and I said if you know I said, I'm really nicely if they could please ship this hair, because I'm pulling them away and I really needed to come in about three to four days, and I mean they were a little nervous. They warned me that it might not come but they're going to ship it as soon as it could. They were super nice about it and they said they shipped it the next day and it came on time and everybody was happy. I was super happy. I want to insert a clip of the hair as soon as I took it out the pocket pattern that it came with, I'm pretty sure it ordered it wavy. It was more on the street side, but it's whatever. I really liked it. It seemed like packaged you really tightly. It came in three plastic, the child, one, the clear one in that green one, and then it also came with a weaving cap. The weaving cap was so cute. It comes with instructions on what to do. If you have plans on taking it on and off, but mine is Sonnen, so I didn't even use that so moving on so cons of this hair cons of synthetic high fiber high heat synthetic high heat, no high heat high heat synthetic fiber. So it's not really hair, so cons of it is don't. Take your flat iron and pump it up to 400. That'S not high heat, I want to say everybody's flat iron everybody's tools, curling iron, whatever you're, using to prom. This is different and my setting I usually do about 230 to 300 degrees, is the max that you could put on this hair. From my experience, I use hot and gold and I also have a cheap flat iron and both of them work well from 2:30 to 300 degrees. I will not suggest that you use a wand like I have a one that does not have a temperature setting. Don'T do it it's going to melt and if you are going to test your hair with heat use like a strand in the back and just like a tiny strand, because if it's gon na melt with one strand, it's gon na melt with 30 strand, you don't Want to be like that girl on that YouTube, video that melts in her hair off. You don't want to do it up here and now you have a chunk missing. I have done it on a unit that I bought from the previous supply store. I just wasn't really thinking and I just went to on the end, like the whole piece, just melted right off now, if you put heat on this hair to curl it and just drop it, it's just going to bend out of shape. It'S not gon na hold. It to get this to hold a pearl, and I have worn it very curly. You need to pin curl the entire thing you need to let the fibers cool down. It'S not real. Here, it's not gon na hold it's going to just drop it shape. So when you pin curl it you let it cool down because it gets very hot. It'S not real here, so you pin it up. It'S really hot! You get ready you! Let it cool down. What I usually do is by coming into the car I'm taking it out like in the car, and then it's going to hold a curl. Just be careful. You have to really know how to pin curl it, because, whatever shape that you curl it into is this shape that it's gon na say you make some weird s-curl shape it's gon na, be your desk rope all night, so that is a con. So this little curl that I have here is just from me having it in a bun when I work in a bun - and I twist it like - I don't know I twist it - this would be counter clockwise it's facing, and I put it in a bun when It comes out, it has a little flip. If I really wanted to. I would take this piece and I would just like: pin curl it real, quick I'll, do a real, quick and I would get ready and then, when I would drop it, it would cut a little curl but straining it is great. Just low heat, like I said, um, it is not real hair, it's not so you just have to be very cautious. This is not for the low maintenance. This is high maintenance. You want this, you don't have to work for it and I do. I have a lot of fun with it, something that I enjoy to do so I don't mind doing the work. This brush, honestly, is heaven stunt and if you have long hair, i really suggest that you use a paddle brush to it, benefits your meal here and you're. Just watching this for fun. Hey girls go on with your bad self, but I do suggest a paddle brush. It is just so easy you can hear the crunchies. It is so easy to get through your hair, it's so easy to get through the country, and it just you can style it. You can really be yourself with this brush. I got it from CVS. My paddle brush not that expensive, probably less than $ 10, and I use it for all my hair. I don't really use the comb. I don't pass a comb through this unless it's really tangles and that's another con is its handling. Synthetic hair is not hair that you want to be all flashy and show you what you really have to learn patience. You have to learn not to play with it too much because even like the little bit of heat from your hand, can cause the fibers to kind stick together. So I really try not if I'm gon na fix my hair, I like to fix it in bunches and just go like this and have it go down matter then run my fingers through it. I mean you can but remember. The friction from your fingers is going to call the fibers to kind of, like tangle together, also want to share a few tips with you. Do not waste your good, shampoo and conditioner on this hair. Don'T do it. I went to the Dollar Tree. I got a what is it Corinne rain? Whatever dollar I bought shampoo and conditioner from them. You don't really need to condition this hair. It'S not real, but for kicks and giggles. So it's like it smell, really nice. It does help it become softer. Do I know that for a fact I don't know I just feel like in my head. They become softer after I use conditioner how I have it installed. So right now I'm swimming and I'm really active, and so I don't want my weight to come off. So what I do is I braid my ear in a spiral, and now I just tighten the front and kind of just sew it in like half way, I'm also trying to relieve some tension from the front of my head. So I also did learn that from the stylist that put my hair in keep didn't sew the front I just kind of observed that he was doing and he just tie in the front and then sewed from like here on back is sewed in. So that's also. It'S hep, if you do install it, otherwise you could just pop around your head. You can get yourself a mannequin like I have, and every night you take it off, which is what I was doing with my other one, and that way I could just like massage myself. You want to use some edge control for the front that thumb those I just move down. I go swimming I've I was reading. I was so nervous to go swimming in a swimming pool with this hair. I didn't want like the chlorine to like change it or just color it, but I've been in chlorine, pools I've been way in there. It doesn't do any damage to synthetic hair. Anything else I want to say the only thing is is like. Sometimes the ends will get like like this, so I am going to cut it. That'S why I want to shoot this review before I cut it. I wanted you guys to see it in all its glory before I do cut it. I'M probably gon na cut it up to here. Um, I'm, not gon na shoot an update on this hair because, honestly, it's very two months in I love it. I border it a gun, hands down. I love this unit. Now that you guys know you guys could probably tell but don't out like in the beginning, our like. Oh that's what it is. Oh it's unit, I'm very comfortable with my unit. I love the way it looks. I literally I get stopped in the street, and people compliment me left and right. They love it. I am very open and honest. This is like what I do it's one of it is one of my passions. I love to switch my hair up, and so I have no problem sharing with people like you know, I feel like people get taken aback when I'm like nah, it's not mine or not. It'S like a wig, but why would I add nothing to hide? I really don't have anything to hide. I do really. I love the beauty industry. I love switching it up. I love me now they love my hair, love massages. I love it. All I feel like units are a great way to experiment without spending a lot of money. There'S ways that you could tweak it to make it look super real just have confidence and everything that you do. Don'T let the haters bring you down. I have never gotten so many compliments since I've gotten this unit.
