The Ultimate Reinstall Melt From Start To Finish|Beginners Wig|Step By Stepft.Xrsbeauty

Hey guys welcome to my channel it's destiny and i'm back with another video in today's video. I'M going to be installing this 18 inch, 200 density, curly wig. This is going to be a reinstall. So that's why the laces already cut off, but, as you guys can see, it is a clean hairline. They bleach the knots of the front. So i didn't have to worry about bleaching knots with this wig. But i've been trying out this new product, which is this lace tint by even, and i wanted to show you guys what it looks like sprayed onto a lace. So this is one of the laces that xrs beauty provides, which is the clear lace, and i just sprayed a little bit of lace tint on it, and it basically makes it blend in with your skin tone better. So i do actually recommend using lace, tint um and i'm just showing you guys how clear the clear lace is, and this is what xrs beauty provides. They provide clear lace, wigs and they also provide transparent lace. Wigs and right now, i'm just showing you guys the transparent lace and this one also blends into my skin very well. This one is also sprayed with the lace and, as you guys can see, it's like basically my skin tone, so yeah, knowing what kind of lace your wig has is very important, so make sure you guys check that out when you're looking for a wig and check Out xrs beauty because they do have laces that basically look very undetectable. Okay, let's get straight into this wig install so right here i was trying to squeeze the glue out, but it just wouldn't come out, so i just poked a hole in it and it just started coming up. Anyways i use ghostbun, which is what i've been using for a long time it works for me. I do want to try out like a more expensive one, because i hear they're waterproof like they work better, so i want to try it out, but oh my gosh. The price is just crazy, but anyways um. I want to give you guys tips along the way, and the first step i want to give you guys is the one that i'm doing right now. So, instead of using got to be to like lay the ball cap down, just go ahead and use whatever glue. You'Re using and just do like a very thin dotted line like all the way around but like covering every single piece, and then you know smooth it out blow dry it until it's dry. It literally takes way faster than trying to dry, like freeze spray or got to be spray, and you don't have to like pull it off of your skin, like when you put too much like it's just so much easier, so much cleaner and it's it just it's. So much faster, so i really recommend doing this. Instead of using got to be, and then all you have to do is just cut the lace off and it cuts off so smoothly. Like guys, look at that, it doesn't come up like it's just my favorite technique. Not many people talk about this, but your bald cap actually really matters like the thinner, your bald cap, the better um. My last wig install. I used a different ball cap than what i usually use and the install turned out so bad. You don't have to use a body cap when you're installing a wig. I only use a ball cap like half the time, but if you use a ball cap, the install lasts a little bit longer rather than when you don't. But when you don't use a bald cap like it increases the chance of your wig looking more natural. I honestly could have skipped this step. I'M just using wonderlace to like make the ball cap. Look a little better. I don't know i didn't do a single thing now, it's time to put foundation on the ball cap. This is for when you part the wig it'll. Basically, look like it's like your natural hair, because the scalp is your skin tone. You know, so this is pretty important. If you don't do this step, when you part the wig you're gon na see white, i mean unless your skin tone is white or like a lighter color. This might not matter too much, but for a darker skin tone, you probably want to use foundation here. I am adding the ghostbond. Some people use two rows um this time i decided to just do one row. I don't think it really matters too much what you do. The bald cap basically protects my edges, which is why i like the ball cap method, because it basically covers my edges. So i'm able to put glue over like where my edges are just a little bit, but i do have to use like conditioner or like a glue dissolver in order to like not lose any edges. So this time i think i did like two or three layers of glue. This was my second layer, and i'm just you know making it as smooth as i can get it, because if it's smooth, it'll dry clear, if it's not smooth, it might dry white, which is your biggest fear when it comes to installing wigs. And you know if i have a scratchy voice like that morning, voice or that tired voice. It'S because i'm literally linked well, i think most youtubers lay down while editing their videos, but i'm literally in bed all cuddled up and i'm probably like getting tired, because it's like 2 a.m - probably almost 3 a.m, but um yeah. I don't feel like sitting up. So you guys are gon na have to hear me sounding like this. Okay. So now i'm blow drying, but i'm only blow drying a tiny bit, because if you blow dry too much, then the glue will literally dry and your wig is not gon na stick. So i just blow dried it a little bit on that one side, because the other side was already um clear, like the glue was already like tacky from just air drying, but the other side was still a little bit white. So i just went in with the blow dryer to kind of help the process um it didn't really work. I don't think i smooth this, i'm not talking about this, i'm talking with the other side, but i don't think i smoothed it out enough like when applying the glue so yeah yo i've been installing wigs for like a little bit over a year and still like My installs are not good, like my work doesn't seem like i've been doing it for over a year, like i'm, giving very much beginner, but this was my best install um after this i did do another install and it was a lot better like it was completely Like transparent and like look very natural, but before that install this one was my best install. Yet i think my next wig video i'm going to like go more in depth on how to get it like. If you're like me, struggling to get your wig to look good, i'm going to give you guys tips that nobody really talks about or tips that don't really work for anybody else, but works for me because clearly their tips are not working for me. But things are getting better, so i'm going to do like a better tutorial next time, so we do have like a little bit of a layout today. If it doesn't work out hey, it is what it is. It'S not clear. It'S not clear! No, no! No! Okay! I know you don't want to see your time lapse, video the whole time, and if you stayed this long, i literally love you. But oh my gosh. This side is not clear and i sincere woke up, so i have to whisper now anyways. You know what i think. That'S clearly enough. I think that's clear enough. Okay, we're gon na go ahead and put the wig on before it gets too dry. Okay, let's call them. Thank you, okay! So turn it a little bit there we go um. I need it to be directly in the middle okay. Okay, all right. Okay, that part is good good. This is literally so like tedious. You have to be very precise with this part, you guys, okay, yes, the glue was like perfectly tacky. I literally didn't even have to try it, which is good. Oh my gosh, it's going so good. I can't believe it and then just boom right. Oh my gosh, you guys have no idea. Okay hold on wait. I think i shouldn't have smiled. I think i shouldn't have laughed. Is he good? Is it good? I think i think it's good. I think it's all right. Oh my gosh wait. Is that part noticeable? It'S like not perfect. Um, i don't know. Maybe i should have applied the wig a different way, because what are these rumbles like it looks weird? I don't know, let's hope i can just smooth that out somehow some way, but it's on it's on and it feels great. Oh, my gosh, it looks great guys. Don'T mind the hair, that's sticking up. I put leave-in conditioner in this wig the night before and like i was messing with it. So yeah don't mind that so it's glued on and i just want to let it you know, sit in the glue for a little bit longer. This might be my first good install because i've installed a wig on myself plenty of times, and it's just never good, but i think this is gon na, be my first good install like. Can you guys see how it's looking good, already like i'm literally so excited like, as you guys could see by the hairline like this, is actually a re-install already, because when i installed it that fur the first time i messed up bad like it was bad. I had to pull that wig off immediately and yeah that video was not getting put to use, but it's literally looking good like please tell me it actually looks good or i'm like not. Oh, my gosh, okay, you know it's not going to be 100 perfect, which is fine. This side is fine. Let'S check on this side um, i don't necessarily know. What'S going on right, there like the little rub, rumple and it's kind of noticeable, but it's still. Okay. Ah, this rumble is so clear. So what do i do next? Like? Should i melt it with um wonder glue, you know what i should do. My sister told me to do this to make sure it's fully dry, so we're going to do this right now, honestly, y'all. I have a little mess up over here, but i think i would just like do edges right here and then try to use the edges to cover that piece up. You know what i mean trying to finesse it. You know what i mean. I don't know. I might not even have to because this is a curly wig. You don't even have to really be dramatic with the edges or do edges at all with hair like this okay, it doesn't look 100 clear, but we're going to start doing edges. I think i'm going to do my edges like this down, so let's go ahead and take some edges out. So here we go. Is this enough edges? I think that's actually perfect. Oh, that's perfect! Okay, let's comb everything else back and then let's actually clip it. Okay boom we're clipping it back. I already have edges cupped, i'm just going to cut a little bit more and yeah we're just going to cut a little bit more. You know do what we got to do. Okay, i love this edge right here. I hope i can get it like the same on the other side, so i'm gon na go get something to do my edges with them i'll be right back, but first let me actually comb this hair back. Okay, this this stuff is actually amazing for edges, so especially for wigs, so i'm going to use this for the edges y'all. I really hope this install is good. Okay and like i didn't melt the lace or anything, but i think i'm gon na melt the lace after i do the edges but um the last time that i did my my wig um when i'm like the wig look, fine, looked fine and then i melted It and then that's when it started looking bad, so yeah whoa, these edges look so good. Let'S finish this side, these edges look good too well, not as good as the other side. I hate this little rumple. If that ruffle wasn't there bro, i don't even know what i'm calling it a rumple. What is this called? This roll? I don't know it's a rumple um. I don't know, there's something like different. I think i'm gon na settle okay, so i am gon na start. Melting, the wig, um or melting the lace and, let's hope that's good. I don't have an elastic there right now. My sister stole it, but i do have this so i'm gon na just wrap it up after i spray this wonderlace. Let'S hope it doesn't mess it up. I'M gon na do a little bit at a time. Let'S now see what it means to me and what's bloody within blue in me: that's cold, baby! Okay! Okay, let me thinking i'm cute. Okay, we're gon na leave this on! For about 15 minutes, oh please look good, please please. What should i do to my hair though, like should i just leave it in an afro, or should i like this? Should i style it y'all, my go-to is a slick back like i just love you a slick back like i might just end up doing a slick back, because i just love a sling. You cannot go wrong with a slick back ever slickback always has my back. I don't know, but what, if i should embrace her curls and do a afro, should i cut bangs like what should i do guys? I actually want to dye this hair ginger, because i was thinking about dyeing my natural hair ginger, but why dye your natural hair, when you could just dye the wig and put it on because it looks so natural? You know what i mean. So i don't know. Let me know what i should do with this hair in the comments below like dyeing wise or styling wise. Let me know what i should do. That'S also my model because, like i don't see why i should straighten my natural hair when i could just get a straight wig. You know no damage to my hair whatsoever, and you know what, for everybody saying that wigs damages your hair like wigs, rips out your edges and stuff. If your wigs are opening out your edges, you're not taking it off properly and even if you are taking it off properly and you're, still having your edges, ripped, buy a lace remover like a a glue remover like buy a lace, glue, remover, and you can like Put the stuff - and it like it like melts it like it, deteriorates the glue basically and to where your wig comes up so easily. All the glue comes up without ripping out your hair okay, so there should be no excuses. She'S long too. I just want to quickly um talk about xr's beauty, just because just like, even if you don't, even if you're, not into wigs and you're, just watching this video for fun just check out their website just in case in the future, you might want to get a Wig because, honestly, this is the bread out of all the wig reviews that i've done. This is the brand that i trust the most with wigs, because, as you guys can see, the lace is transparent and when it comes to installing wigs, if you're not a pro, you need to get a transparent laser. A clear lace wig one of these laces, because if you do a bad job like still the wig is not like. The lace is not going to show because the the thing is already transparent, like you can basically wear these wigs clueless. If you really wanted to this is my second wig from them. The hair is obviously good. It'S just the lace that i love. I love it so much, but yeah i'll see you guys in like five minutes. Let'S hope it looks good. Okay, guys. This must be the moment of truth, i'm a little nervous, but let's take this off. I don't expect it to look like any specific way like. I don't expect it to look amazing. I just i just don't want it to look bad, let's hope it: okay! Okay! Okay, i'm just gon na clean it up a little bit. You know what i mean: um, okay, it's looking pretty good right. It looks good right. I just got ta clean it up a little bit and i don't know what i did with all this like come on. Not just oh these edges. Look so good, though that's my favorite part, maybe i should just use a little bit of makeup. Makeup always fixes it. I think i'm gon na use some makeup y'all. I think it probably did look a little bit better before i add before i try to attempt it to melt it, because now i see like a bunch of glue and stuff, but from afar i think it looks pretty good. Yes, okay, i'm gon na. I am gon na use a little bit of makeup just to try to perfect it a little bit. I haven't seen myself looking good in a long time. The reason why i just installed this week is because i've been looking rough, very much rough for a cool minute. I was tired of looking rough, so i said you know what i'm installing a wig guess what i did. I installed a wig and now look at me back looking good. Thank you very much all right. I put way too much makeup on my hands. So, let's cook this off or should i just do my makeup? Real quick y'all, i'm gon na put this makeup on my face because it ain't no point in wasting it. You know what i mean, you know what i mean. No makeup shall go two ways i actually never use like foundation. I think this is too dark. I don't think this is my shade it's giving too dark, but it's okay right. It'S totally yeah, it's a little too dark, but that's fine anyways. So this is how the hair is looking. I haven't completely decided what i wanted to do with it um. It looks really good like this, but i just don't think i'm gon na leave it like this. I got it. I probably got ta ask my friends what i should do, because it looks good like that. But let's see how it looks in this look back because y'all know me: i love a slick back. I really do okay, it might look good in the sleek bag. Oh yes, look at that lace. That looks good where's. The back i'm gon na do this like that guys, i just love a slick bag. I'M like so excited about this, you know, might be special. Let me not pull too much on these okay, i'm done y'all, that's it! That'S all i had to do and now i'm happy okay, guys, i'm happy! I'M satisfied this actually turned out to be a success. Um, usually i'll be trying to like cover this part up but like i didn't even clean it up and like i just well, maybe it doesn't look good. Maybe i just think it looks good, but i don't even have to like clean it up or nothing like. I just left it alone and it is kind of looking a little bit good. It kind of looks a little bit natural. You know it's not perfect, but i'm not going anywhere and even if i did go somewhere, i would walk out the house just like this and i'll feel good. You know i love it. The hairs the quality. This is good quality, as i get better i'll learn how to make the lace look even better each time, but for now i think this looks pretty good, so yeah make sure you guys shop with xrs beauty.
