Curly Hair Routine (With Extensions)

This is symbol. This took a lot of manipulation. Moisturization, like the lord jesus himself, had to come down from heaven to help me blend my hair with this wig. So i got this curly u-part wig from this place called y wigs and when it came, it came in this really cute little like garment bag for a wig, but when i took it out, i noticed that although the hair was soft, it was really nice. The curl was a little bit looser than my hair texture, so the curl was maybe like a 3b3c type of situation and my hair is really like. 4B. Some sections may be 4a, but it's like 4b. I have really like coily hair that shrinks to like all way up here like it does it never wants to act right, so i was a little nervous of how i was going to get my hair to blend with this hair. So i'm about to take you through everything that i went through so the first thing you should always do when you have curly hair is to wash it. You don't need 35 shampoo to wash your hair. I use the pro curls by tresemme and that is four dollars in target and it works wonders. I make sure i shampoo my hair more than once, because if i don't get everything out of my hair, then it's not going to curl the way i want to. It'S not going to act right, it's going to frizz, i'm going to be mad and end up putting it in a bun by the end of the hairstyle after i wash my hair, i make sure i condition my hair real good. I make sure i take a brush and make sure that i can brush through it. I like to make sure that i can run my fingers through it and that all the product is washed out before i move on. So after i got done washing my hair. I brought the wig into the shower with me and then i started to getting to work on the wig. I made sure i did the exact same thing to the wig, as i did to my real hair, because i i need them to match each other's energies. I need them to be on the same wavelength so that this could work out when i got out the shower, while my hair was so damp. I made sure i moisturize it with this aunt jackie's curl la la with palmer's olive oil, moisturizing, hair milk and with this honey hydrate by camille, rose, oh yeah. I also use this ogx um, nourishing coconut milk, antique breakage serum. We know from my previous hair videos that i have zero idea how to braid so, instead of trying to do like a little fake cornrow, i just plaited my hair, like travis scott and kept it pushing straight up after i planted my hair. I took some bobby pins, i pinned my hair up. Then i took the: u part wig measured where i wanted to be, and then i just clipped it exactly where i wanted it. Staying on the same wavelength, i took the same exact products that i moisturized my hair with, and i put it in this weave so now comes the trying to blend it part. This was the most frustrating part, because my hair just springs up and coils up and wants to be like stuck in a little fro up here. So i kept taking aunt jackies and eco gel and everything trying to get my hair to blend in. But it was not acting right. I did it several times, i put so much product in it, but it still wanted to curl up like a little fro at the top and would not match the rest of my hair. I think at one point i started cutting like hella layers in this hair thinking that it was going to somehow match up to what my hair was doing up here and that just never happened. I i don't know what i was thinking, but i do like the layers, but the reason why i was cutting layers was dumb, as i think at one point i took like some eco gel and then tried to like coil my hair, because i've seen some people Do that like just take some and then like, take little pieces and coil it that was not working for me. That did not work. Don'T do that so then i had the dumbass idea to take my real hair with the weave and then braided thinking that once i unbraided it that it was going to blend in and it did not slowly but surely it started to curl back up and i Started to look like jermaine jackson, all over again, as i sat there frustrated and confused an idea came to my head. I went through my girlfriend's hair drawer and took her little clips that she uses for when she does her dreads over. So then i decided to take all the products that i used to moisturize my hair stretch, my hair down and use the clips to make sure my hair stayed elongated and stayed in place. So i did end up putting more product in here to weigh the hair down, because i didn't want my hair that voluminous and i did end up like braiding it so that it could lock in the moisture. So when i took the clips out, it did what i wanted to do, but it didn't last, like my hair, was slowly again starting to scrunch up. So at this point i want to fight. I want to fight who wants to fight, because my hair is not cooperating. The weave is acting right, but my hair is acting like they don't want to be here, and i don't have time for that. I got to do so. I said you know what let me try to click one more time, but let me try to do it with spritz, so i elongated my hair again with the weave i put the clips on it again, but this time i took where's the where where's the spritz. I didn't want to get up so this time i took the clips and i took this olive firm hold spritz hairspray and i sprayed it after i put all the clips on and then i took a regular blow dryer and blow dried, my hair on high heat To make sure it was completely dry. That idea was from the heavens above, because that ended up working out. I waited over an hour and a half to film this part of the video to make sure my hair has not did not start scrunching up again and it hasn't it is to stay. It is not going anywhere and i'm actually really happy with the final result. Even though it took me forever to get hair here, not hair, it's this is the first time. I think that i've ever had a curly weave, which is weird because my hair is naturally curly, but i've never worn my hair in this natural state. I used to wear lace fronts or i would just straighten my hair with sew-ins. I'Ve never had curly hair. So i'm interested to see if you guys, like it, it's growing on me, it's new, so i'm still like nervous, but it is growing on me. As far as the actual weave goes, the weave is really soft um, it hasn't tangled, it hasn't matted and it was very manageable. I was able to run my fingers through it when i washed it. It didn't switch up textures on me, so i do think that this might be my new signature, but i'm not sure yet i'm interested to see what y'all think in the comments.
