Hi you guys Amani here welcome back to my channel, so today, I'm just gon na give you guys a little quick update, video about the wig that I'm wearing this is that $ 39 Amazon blonde wig that I already did a review on a little over a Month ago, um, but I have gotten a lot of comments about people wanting me to do an update video about it, which I totally get because once you take hair out of the box you're out of the package and you throw it on. Of course, it's gon na look perfect and it's gon na act right. Why? Wouldn'T it it's new hair, but as soon as you put a little heat a little water and you wear it out a few times, comb it out and gets little tangled. It'S a whole different monster like it's a whole different ballgame, so I totally get why people would want to get an update. Video just see how it's doing so. I'M gon na give y'all what y'all want, but a little side note umm. If you guys notice this video is going to be a lot better quality than my last videos, because your girl finally upgraded her life. I got beyonce upgraded and I am not using my iPhone for everything anymore and now I've got myself a little camera and a nice little lens to film my videos on from now on. I am so happy about this. You guys, like you, don't understand how excited I am because I have just come to understand that YouTube and my creative side is what I'm really gon na try to use um, not just for something on the side like a hobby. I want this to be lucrative for me like I want to live off of this, so I'm like I need to put my money where my mouth is and I need to really invest in myself more because if I want my numbers to get up, I got Ta put out high quality products, I mean you know, so I started YouTube last summer, so it's like a little it's like a year since I've been doing it and I just had to step my game up like it was just time for an upgrade like it. This is long overdue and I'm so glad I got this camera seeing my videos get like a little height. You know like a little puppy like it's like really like a dream. Come true like. I can't even believe that you guys mess with me like this and that y'all really like y'all really like me, and it's just so crazy. So I was just like you know what it's time for a camera. So I'm so glad that I got this camera just a little side note for all y'all, just putting that out there, your girl's moving on up, but the yeah. Let'S get straight to this um, we reviewed this update. So I have that comments about people asking me about the shininess of the wig. So right now in my first video, I guess I really just didn't. I don't know if I didn't notice the shininess or just didn't, bother me, because I was just so hype about how the hair felt. But in my last video I wasn't too concerned about the shininess until I wore it out for the first time and I went into the bathroom when I was out and I was like dang. This wig does kind of look shiny, like it's on the shiny side. So um, but that's like a quick, easy fix. You just get some dry shampoo like that's what you do for synthetic wigs when it looks a little shiny, I mean dry shampoo. It'S basically just I mean correct me if I'm wrong, but it's powder. So I don't really see why baby powder a little bit of it, couldn't really do that same trick of kind of like dulling the shininess, I'm not gon na lie um when I used to buy before everybody was buying bundles. Listen, I try to act like before. Bundles were thing that we were not buying pack here we were buying pack here at the Beauty, Supply Warehouse down the street and he used to get stiff and shiny, and every few weeks you had to go and buy that $ 20 pack. Here again, don't try to act like that. Wasn'T a thing when we was all doing glue ends. Nobody was even doing so with at this point. Don'T try to act like you, too boozy sis, because you know you was doing it soon. Anyways, when I was buying that sheet pack here, that pack here used to get really shiny too, because that wasn't 100 % human here. So I didn't have any dry shampoo like a loose powder and it works um, but yeah. That'S just my little side know about the shininess um. It doesn't really bother me that much. I feel like it's kind of being illuminated right now because of the lighting I have in my room. I just have a ring light. That'S kind of harsh on this hair. So it's making it look shiny, but the shininess really isn't a huge factor for me to be honest with you, so second of all people keep asking me about curling the wig, but we're gon na get to why I don't put heat on my synthetic wigs anymore. A little bit later, because this wig is not the only wig, I'm going to be doing a little update on I'm also going to be doing an update on my green hair, wig video that I did about two or three months ago. That was also a $ 39 Amazon, wig and yeah. That'S gon na be a perfect example as to why I do not put heat on my synthetic wigs anymore um, but yeah stop asking me about how the hair curls and all that, because I just refused to really put curlers in this hair cuz. I really like it bowing straight. I like how it moves when it's, when it's straight, I'm not really. You know, if I don't know like I'm, just not really interested in curling it and I'm especially not about to put heat on it at all. So that brings me to the third little topic about this hair because I have not put heat on it and something that I do have a little complaint about are the ends. So you guys kind of see me kind of like running my fingers through it and it's getting kind of tangled on the ends. I'M just going to kind of my little thing right here, get a little piece of hair and show you guys that the ends are looking. They don't look that bad to be honest with you, they don't look bad, but they feel bad. They feel kind of crunchy. They are tingling and I have not put any heat on this here at all, so I don't really understand why the ends are kind of getting kind of frayed like I said they don't look bad, so it's not like anyone's gon na really say anything, but I Feel like having this with a little longer, it is going to start being a problem for my ends, because they're already feeling they're already feeling rough, and I just don't get it like. I don't get help that ends tingle. You know, like I feel like if it's gon na tingle, it's gon na tingle, like at the nape of your neck. How like wigs always do - or I don't know like it's - not simile anywhere else, but the ends which is really weird to me. That'S really my only complaint about this here is that the ends are starting to get a little tingly and that I have to keep a comb with me to comb out my ends. But honestly it feels bad, but it doesn't look bad. So I can't even really call that a whole complaint, because it's not like it's something that someone else could really point out and be like. Oh, she wanted synthetic way to look at her and it's like it's really not that bad and I've worn this wig out a few times. I'Ve taken pictures in it, like I told you, I haven't, put any heat or water on it, but it's gotten some weird to it. So for the instant not look that bad, I can't really complain, but they are starting to get a little stiff, the hair. It'S still really movable and everything, but the ends they're gon na I can tell they're gon na get like a little stiff so to solve that you just cut some length off of it. You know not that big of a problem to me anyway. This is about like a 24 inch, so I mean going to 22 inches 20 inches really isn't a problem for me. I'Ll just cut some length off when the ends get really bad, but for $ 39 and for me having you over a month and getting a lot of where's like going out and doing stuff in this wig, and it's still looking the way it looks. The ends are kind of like a minor problem to me, but I guess that's really up to you and if that's a problem for you and yeah so other than that ends getting a little crunchy. That'S really the only complaint I have about this wig. I don't really have much bad to say about it, especially since I got it so freakin cheap. So yes, this, if you're wondering if this is still a good buy, it is, I would definitely still recommend it even after this month of having it and wearing it. I would still this still gets like a thumbs up for me anyway, so that's gon na bring us to the next wig that I'm doing a review on just let me grab it, so this is the other wig that I'm going to be doing an update on As well, please don't be too alarmed about how it looks. I just dropped it out of the bag and I'm not gon na put this one on so it kind of looks a little a little tingly on the top, but it's really not that singly at all. I just have to comb it out so just like, I told you guys we'll get to why I don't put heat on my synthetic wigs anymore. This wig is the reason as to why I don't do anything to my synthetic wigs. The ends on this wig are not that bad and I haven't put any heat on them and the reason why is because look at these insists on this way. Look at these and look how bad these look this. It looks fried like it. It'S like soft, like it's like like the ends, are just so bad on this wig now, and it's just so crazy, because the only time that I put heat on it was when I did my review video, and I literally had my Flatiron on I think 200 Or 250 degrees - and I literally just swiped it through the ends just like a couple of times to show that the when it gets heat resistant and at the time when I was in the video of course, you know right afterwards is gon na make the here. You know slicker and sleek, which is what I was going for, but then actually not having put any more heat on the ends. They they start getting like this, and I can't get jiggy with this like. This is a no-no and after I saw that the ends were really getting bad, I even cut some length off of it and that's why the ends are looking blunt now and even after I cut some length off of it. The end still look really bad. So I'm just confused like if there is just so much confusion besides the ends, I really still love this wig. I you know, I look he's so weird in videos or in my photos, and I just kind of like don't put the ends in I just kind of like crop the ends out and just look like shoulders enough, but yeah. I really still love this wig such a shame that the ends got so bad, but they did if I'm gon na, keep this wig. Honestly, I'm just gon na have to cut this and take off a lot of length and just cut into a bob, and just don't do anything else to it, because this is just a really super sensitive fiber that they use. For this, like. I really can't believe that the ends really got this bad, and this was the first synthetic wig that I really did a review on that I really bought for myself before this week. I always bought human hair and if I wanted to have it like a funky color, I would just dye it bleach it myself. So this is the first synthetic wig that I've bucks, I'm just like, I'm so tired of spending so much money on a human here and then, if I bought it black to get it cheaper, I would just have to dye it and color it. It was just a long process and I never really end up wearing my wigs for that long, so it was kind of a waste of money too. So when I started getting into synthetic wigs, this was the first one that I bought, and I just didn't know that you shouldn't be putting heat on them. But it also said on the package that it was heat resistant and that's something that I've learned also just because the packaging says heat resistant does not mean that you can just go on and just start curl wand in it and putting heat on it like nosis. Like just leave that synthetic wig alone do not wash it do not try to put any heat it curls or don't try to like fire in it just leave it alone, sis cuz! That'S the only way! Honestly, it's really gon na last and I really feel like that's why this week has we lasted, and it's still looking good, because I just don't do anything to it. I'D take it off at night, and I just folded up, and I put it right back into the plastic bag that it came in and that's it like. I don't do anything else to this way. So that was a huge learning lesson for me that um you just got to use your own discernment and yeah. That was my first wig synthetic wig that I bought the first synthetic wig. I did a review on and I definitely learned a lot from that. Wig good thing: it was only $ 39 because if it was more than that and the ends turned out like that out, I've really been mad but um. Yes, so just a quick recap. I am still loving this blonde hair wig vins are getting a little crunchy in a little tangley, but they still don't look that bad they're, not Steph. Ben'S are not getting blunt at all. The shininess can be easily solved with a little bit of the dry shampoo and that's really all I have for you guys. I hope you guys liked the video. I hope you guys are all subscribers. SecondLifeDesigner: The reason the ends get that way is from combing and brushing the hair. As you comb or bush the hair as you get near the ends the tangles stretch and or put a slight kinks in the hair as the knots come out. Human hair doe not kink or stretch in the same way as synthetic hair does. You can try and be super gentle as you comb or brush especially near the ends. You can fix kinked or stretched hair to make is all nice and smooth again. Don't use any curling or flat irons on synthetic hair. Use steam on a dry wig. Get yourself a hand held travel garment steamer. Secure the wig on a foam head and put the head on a tripod or head mount. A camera tripod works great just pivot the handle normally used to pan the camera around so it is pointing straight up as if a camera is pointing down and tighten it. Then place the Styrofoam head on the handle. That is what the hole on the bottom of the head is for to secure it. Or you can use a plastic coat hanger and fish the hook through the wig wefts near the back and hang the hanger off your shower curtain rod. Next take a comb, not a wide tooth comb, but just regular comb and start to comb through the hair near the end of the hair. Place the garment steamer just above the comb and comb down. The comb keeps the hair straight and the steam straightens the hair. After a few strokes you can try putting the steam in front of the beneath the comb and comb down. The hair will become super straight. Do not use the steam without using the comb. If you do the hair will be come super curly. Don't panic if you forgot and it gets all curly just just the comb and steam to straighten the hair. This will get all the kinks out of the hair and it will be super smooth. You can also curl hair with the steamer and a round brush. Works on even non heat resistant synthetic hair. Steam can not melt the hair like curling and flat irons can. Start with a section of hair. Run the brush down to the ends and use your hand to push the hair into the bristles and rotate the bush from an 1/8 to 1/4 turn and steam the hair for 10 to 20 seconds. I have done as many as 30 seconds. Rotate the brush another 1/8 to 1/4 turn and steam for another 10 to 20 seconds. Repeat till you have rolled up the amount of curl you want. Then gently unroll the air blowing on the hair as you unroll. Your breath will cool the hair setting the curl better. Any water from the steam will dry in just a few minutes. Be careful with the steam as it is hot and can burn you. Once the hair is started on the brush you don't have to keep using your hand to push it into the bristles. If you just straightened the hair it may not take the curl that easily. If it doesn't just curl it again with the steam and brush. Once it does curl you can freshen up the curls from time to time by re-curling them and only straighten the hair once and a great while to get the kinks out again. After you straighten a wig you may need to cut any hair that had been stretched.

Angie Ortiz: I’ve been watching your videos so much I’ve been really considering getting a wig cause I’m tired of having short hair LOL but I’m scared if I order it I won’t apply it right
