Hey y'all, it's your girl! Maybe, and today we are doing a wig install from BAE's hair, calm, bae s, hair, calm anyways before you go any further make sure y'all like subscribe, follow and share. That is my two little beautiful nieces and my sister right here in this videos. Family channel come on y'all. I don't cost y'all nothing to follow, share, subscribe and show love and support each one help one how about that instead of each one teach one each one help one. So we help you, you help us watch our videos anyway. First of all, I put the stocking cap on her hair and now I'm spraying that got to be glued hairspray as soon as it dries. I will be cutting that off, but first things. First, I have to make sure that all her baby hairs a push back, because when we put the stocking cap on some of them, little hairs came forward. So right now, I'm taking a comb and I'm pushing those hairs back before the hairspray gets to sitting. Because when this hairspray sets y'all, it sits so now I am going to dry, they got to be glue, imma spray, a little bit more on the sides, because you know that's the part that tends not to stick on her. I don't know why, but anyway, I'm gon na go ahead and spray and then I'm going to dry it and then once it is completely dried, I will be cutting off. The remaining part keep watching now, I'm doing exactly what I said I was gon na. Do I'm gon na go ahead and cut this up the middle and cut it around above well below her hairline? Shall I say, I'm gon na make sure that I cut the stocking cap below her hairline and I'm going to then after I finished that I am going to put little dots of glue all around underneath that stocking cap and right on the tip of the stocking Cap and then we will place this beautiful base, hair, dot-com, wig, y'all, watching watch this. This is bomb girl. You before I put the glue on, I am going to put foundation on the stocking cap being that the stocking cap is way way way lighter than her skin tone. So I'm gon na take the foundation and blend it as well as I possibly can to where it blends into her skin tone and we'll make it not as noticeable. Because the whole point of having a wig is to try to make it to where everybody doesn't know, you're wearing a wig. But you know we try to melt that lace as much as possible honey, but hey practice makes perfect and every hair stylist is practing practicing until she perfects her craft and I feel like even when you do perfect your craft, you can always enhance it with something Else so I feel like we're always practicing period, even when we think that we're perfect now, I'm going to put the little dots of the glue all the way around her hairline, it's right below and right on, like right on, like half of the dot is on And half of its off of the stocking cap, but it is about an inch inch and a half away from her hairline, because I don't want it to be anywhere close to her edges whatsoever. Cuz. Lord knows it is operation, save those edges. Girls. Now I'm going to take a popsicle stick and I'm going to simply smear the little dots make a line. Did you do write down the face and go to the other side and do the same, I'm going to repeat these steps four times guys. The reason why a lot of y'all's hair does not last is because you don't do it four times you have to wait until the glue gets tacky on the fourth time before you apply the wig ladies, come on the moment. We'Ve all been waiting for that glue is tacky and ready to be stuck down and we are gon na. I cut the lace in three sections, you see, each side has a section and then the top has a section that way. It helps me to lay it correctly like where I wanted. If I want to buy this ear that ear, it gives me the ability to pull it and make it more pliable, where I want it to go, and it helps me lay it the way. I want it period you now I'm going to take this handy-dandy comb and i'ma push down on a lace as I brush her hair back. So that way it helps the lace stick to the glue better without making the hair stick to the lace in the now. She opted out for baby hairs this time she did not want any what so ever so. I just went ahead and laid that lace down and let it sit and then I cut it and then I laid it one more time just to make sure it was loads of the golds. This part is pretty self-explanatory. I'M just gon na cut in a jig jag motion like jerk jerk, jerk, jerk, jerk, jerk jerk all across her hairline, so it helps it. Look a little bit more natural cut that lace off. Just when I thought I was done, she was like sis you forgot to layer the sides of this. I want it to where the curls just feather back. So I said: okay, girl, let me go ahead and give you some little layers. So I went ahead and slid cut the sides, whatever you want to call slide cut it whatever and I went ahead and gave her some layers on the side, so those curls could gone ahead and whip in the wind. You feel me and there it is there guys, hmm, I think it looks great like I said, if you guys don't like it, tell me why you don't like it. What did I do wrong? What did I do this time? Miss Ting: 1. Use transparent or HD Lace 2. Pluck around hair line and part so that it's not so thick and unrealistic 3. Melt cap so there's no curl over when you cut the wig cap off 4. Apply concealer around the edges so the cut lace isn't so obvious Practice makes perfect :) Good luck!

MishK: Loved the install, being Irish I have been looking at tips for wigs, as I have several as I lost two thirds of my hair in 2019 after a long stay in hospital, so will watch some more of your vids, my hair has grown back but it is a bit thinner than before and I don't like it as I normally have really thick hair. Also because of covid restrictions here (we are still at level 5) I haven't been able to get to the hairdressers to get my hair dyed, so when I go out, which is rare and normally just to the shop, I wear a wig to feel better about myself. Hope you and yours are all safe at this weird time.
Babito's World: Thanks for sharing your wig install technique. How long does this wig last on your head without it shifting? Also, will it stay put on the head while swimming? I prefer to go to sleep without my wig on... does this mean i would need to re-glue and redo this entire process daily?

I do have a suggestion... to customize the wig more with plucking the hairline and applying some heat to melt the lace and lay down the wig in the parting. I also would’ve like to see you add a few barrel curls just to finish the style. Otherwise it was really good. I’d wear it! Side note I was a licensed cosmetologist before I was a nurse but I still ❤️ everything about haircare and love me some wigs and hair weaves.

Abbie Kitterman: Bleach and dye the knots on the inside cap so you can't see the roots of the hair and also put translucent powder on those edges. Ain't nobodys hairline that shiny. Those are some things I've seen other tutorials do and it helps it look so much more natural!
