How To Define Your Curly Wig | You Need This Wig! | Ft. Hergivenhair

Hey loves, I promised to do a maintenance video on how I care for this U-part wig from hergivenhair hair. If you have not seen my previous video of how i installed this wig, I highly recommend that you go and watch it, Especially for my 3A to 4C type girls that are looking for a go-to, simple and easy wig. I will link the video up top First. I'M going to go in with this Dove intensive repair, conditioner to deep condition the hair Wet the hair thoroughly and put a generous amount of the conditioner in the hair and work it through. I do not use shampoo on this hair because don't want to strip it. The curls are just like our real hair; They need moisture and conditioner in order to be defined. So that's my goal for maintenance. Is to put maximum amount of moisture in it and not to take from it. Hence the reason I don't use shampoo If you use shampoo, nothing is going to happen to the hair. Just let it deep condition for a longer period of time. The more you work, the conditioner in the softer and more manageable. The hair becomes. Your fingers begin to glide easily through the hair, I'm going to let the deep conditioner sit in the hair for 10 minutes and then i will wash it out thoroughly Ensure that all the deep conditioner is washed out completely from the hair. Because you're going to put a leave-in conditioner in the hair and you don't want too much product build up in the hair As a leave-in conditioner, i'm going to use the Kim Kimble healing leave-in conditioner. It adds so much moisture to the hair and it makes it very easy to detangle. I have to say that detangling is crucial for this hair because it will prevent the hair from matting, which means that your wig will last longer and then it also helps the curls to pop. As you will see, I detangle in sections just like i would my natural hair After the whole hair is fully detangled. You should be able to glide the detangling brush through the hair effortlessly and that's pretty mush how i maintain this hair.
