Steps:
1. Part the hair in the new direction.
2. Use clips low on the hair to hold the part in place.
3. Apply steam heat in the direction you want the hair to flow.
4. Allow wig to cool and remove the clips.

Changing a part line on a wig with a steamer is pretty simple.. There'S a lot of reasons on why you'd want to change the part line on your wig., For instance, if your part was too straight or if it was off to the side, and it just didn't look quite right on you, it might be advantageous to go ahead And switch it up. Since this one's fairly straight, I'm going to change it to a zig zag part to give it more flair and more dimension.. Since part lines on wigs are already created to be a certain way and they're not meant to be changed. It will probably try to fight you, so you'll need to use some clips to hold the hair into the right place., With the hair parted in the right direction. You'Re ready to apply your steam heat., I'm applying it in the direction that I want the hair to go. Once this has been steamed in this will be the new permanent part., Be very careful that you don't apply heat to your clipped area. Otherwise, it will leave a line., And here we have our new finished permanent part line.

Doctored Locks: You can also try using a washcloth dipped in boiling water. Just quarter fold it, and dip the edge of it into hot hot hot water. Then put the hot edge onto the new partline. Do it gently so you don't smash the hair down.
R'hyll-Ann Ffiain: Hello. I have a lovely wig that has a VERY strong part in the middle (just in front). The rest is zig zag, which is wonderful, so I do not wish to complain. I love this wig. The issue I am having is I require fringe/bangs. I have an eight head vs forehead (haha), so a stark part in front is just bloody awful on me. I cannot see this part doing anything but what it is doing. Will steam genuinely fix this? The wig is VERY thick and well made. Any tips?
