In addition to my wig, i also received a wig cap, two hair clips and a rat tail comb. The wig that i received is a 10 inch bob. The texture is silky, the lace color is light. Brown and the cap. Construction is a t parts wig tea part, wigs get their name from their cap. Construction they're literally shaped like the capital letter t so there's a standard middle part, and then there is lace surrounding the front hairline of the wig straight out of the package immediately. I noticed that the hairline has been fully customized for me, which is great news, because that means, if you are a beginner, you do not have to do any additional customizations, so the knots are pre-plucked and fully bleached. For us already, this way comes with three combs: an adjustable strap and a removable elastic band. This step is completely optional, but i chose to pluck away a little bit more hairs from the hairline. You want to keep in mind that you don't have that much wiggle room to pluck so do not over pluck, while doing this step, i'm going to do the beige method of zigzag, plucking and parting to get rid of some of that density from the hairline. But keeping in mind that there are tracks directly behind the lace edge of the wig. Now that i'm satisfied with the hairline i'm going to move on to styling the wig. The first thing that i'm going to grab is a light. Hair serum apply it to the hair and then in small sections, i'm going to grab my flat iron and begin to bump the hair using flyaway tamer and my pressing comb, i'm just going to smooth back the hairline okay. So now it's time to install the wig. The first thing that i'm going to grab is 70 alcohol. I'M going to clean my forehead off with that alcohol and then i'm going to grab scalp protector, i'm applying that to my scalp or hairline and allowing that to dry, okay grabbing the wig and trying it on. I can already see that my hairline is going to be showing through, and that means that i'm going to have to have baby hairs. So i see a couple more areas that i want to thin out a little bit. So i'm going to grab my tweezers and just do that while the wig is on my head right now, i am also going to pluck away some of the density from the baby hairs as well grabbing got to be free spray. I'M going to spray that along my hairline, then put my head scarf on and allow it to set for about 15 minutes grabbing a pair of scissors, i'm going to cut the center of the extra lace and then i'm going to carefully cut around the hairline. Not cutting off the baby hairs but carefully cutting along the hairline to remove that extra lace. So a few benefits for tea part wigs is that they are cheaper. The ones from my first wig come fully customized for you, so you don't have to worry about doing any additional customizations they're perfect to be worn every single day, because they're super easy to install tea part. Wigs can be worn glueless and they are easier to work with and less intimidating for beginners. So after playing around with a few hairstyles, i did a flip over. I did that standard middle part. I comb the hair more in my face. I comb the hair more out of my face and i also at the end, decided to bump the hair in a tighter bump at the ends, and that gave me more of a 60s diana ross, the supremes that gave me more of that type of vibe. I'M obsessed with it. I think this is such a cute, easy to work with easy to style bob. I love the fact that it's so short, so you don't have to worry about consistently combing through it. You don't have to worry about shedding. I love the density of it is super full. They did a really good job with the cut.
