Hey guys welcome to my channel. My name is Fatima in today's video we're going to be talking about my natural hair, we're going to basically talk about what happens from the time that I take off this wig to the time that I install another wig. It was a long process, but I filmed it all for you guys, so, let's get into it to take the wig off I'm using the c22 spray, which is amazing for removing wigs or any type of hair, glue, even tape and extensions. It'S super gentle removes it easily without harming my edges. You can get it from the Beauty, Supply or Amazon I'll, be sure to link it down below for you guys, as you guys can see, I've had my braids in for quite a while. At this point, I think it had been around a month and a half almost two months that I've had my hair braided without washing it or anything. So my hair was very dirty overdue for a wash all of that, as you guys can see, the front of my hair is also like, especially dirty. That'S from the gel that I used to slick back my edges under the wig cap and also the cream foundation that I use sometimes would stick to the gel, like I said, very overdue, for a wash so after taking my braids out, I just went and brushed My whole head just to detangle everything and then I'm going in with the olaplex number three, just as like a pre-conditioning treatment. Before I get into the shower to shampoo, I am still rocking heavily with the olaplex products. I actually love them so much if you guys. Remember I made a video trying out the olaplex products for the first time and I'm still using a lot of the products. A lot of the products have still lasted me actually, so I still highly recommend them and they have been amazing for my hair. I went in with a dime sized amount for each section. At some points I did have to add a little bit more product. If I felt like I needed it, my hair is slowly starting to revert at this point because I did straighten it before braiding it up, but it's still very much straight. So it's going to fully revert once I get in the shower. I put a plastic bag over my head and left this on for about half an hour before I went into the shower as well. Okay, so when I got in the shower first thing, I'm doing is rinsing my little bantu knots out. I tried to keep my hair in sections as much as I could, because if not my hair just tends to get very tangled up super easily, so you guys are going to see that I'm even applying the shampoo in sections. I just feel like that works. So much better! For me, I went in with the olaplex number 4C shampoo, which is their clarifying shampoo, which this was the first time that I ever tried that shampoo out, I usually go in with the two shampoos. Whenever I wash my hair, a clarifying shampoo and then just like a regular shampoo, I did Focus the shampoo on my roots on all four sections. Since that's where all the dirt and buildup IS, and then I would kind of just brush the product through the rest of my hair, I did go ahead and use my tangle teaser brush, which this brush is honestly a godsend for wash days. It makes detangling my hair so quick and easy, like I highly highly highly recommend this brush for your natural hair. I will say I thought this shampoo would lather up a little bit more than I did like. I had a little bit of a lather but they're number four, which is their normal, shampoo lathers up so much more than this, and I love a shampoo that lathers, because it just makes me feel like my hair - is clean, so the olplex number 4C shampoo did Definitely clean my hair, like my hair, was clean by the end of this, but I don't know if it's my favorite clarifying shampoo sections and every section is detangled, I'm going to take every section out and rinse everything through and then we're gon na go in. With my second shampoo, which is the olaplex number four, this is the regular shampoo that I normally use from oil plugs and it is just a fave, as you guys can see, it's just lathering up so nicely and the one thing that I really do love about. This shampoo is that it cleans my hair, but it never makes my hair feel stripped or straw like it is a moisturizing shampoo, and it just feels so good on my hair, like this is a shampoo that I will continue to purchase because it just makes my Hair feel really really good. So with this shampoo as well, I really tried to focus this on my roots, just to really make sure that that area of my hair is clean and then I'm going in and rinsing that out as well and then we're going to be on to conditioner. So I'm going in with the oil Plex number five, which is another one of my faves. A little bit of this goes a long way, just like the number four shampoo a little bit of that shampoo goes a long way. The same thing goes for this conditioner, so you don't have to use too much, but it will still like coat your hair completely and just make your hair feel really soft. So I went in with that and then detangled with my tangle teaser brush, just as like a final detangle before I get out of the shower and whenever I detangle, I always make sure to twist or put in a bantu knot, the hair section just so that It like stays detangled. So that's what I did in this case. I twisted everything up and then, when it was time to rinse out, I took out the Twist and just rinsed my hair out, okay, so now to deep condition, I'm going in with the Brio Geo. I hope that's how you say it deep conditioner mask this is the first time that I'm ever using this deep conditioner. I'Ve heard so many great things about it. So I just went in and put that all over my hair, I will say this deep conditioner was very thick having natural hair, you sometimes need a lot of products to even feel like you have a little bit of product on your hair, but with this product I didn't really have to like use half the tub to really feel like I had some product on my hair, so I did like that. It also smelled really good. So after applying that to my hair, I just twisted everything up and kind of just put it up and continue the rest of my shower routine. After my shower, I went in with a plastic bag over my head to keep the moisture in, and I left this in for around two hours, so this is hours after I got out the shower. This is right after I rinsed out my deep conditioner, and this is what my hair is looking like. My hair felt so like moisturized, even though I had put no product in it, my hair looked really really shiny, so the products that I was using definitely helped. My hair out, I'm going in with the it's a 10 leave-in as a heat protectant and as like a light moisturizer and the wow dream coat spray. That'S supposed to be an anti-frizz spray and I use both of those on my hair before I detangle. Those are the only products that I used on my hair and, of course, we're detangling, I obviously tangle before. I do absolutely anything just because it makes the process so much easier. I went with my tangle teaser brush and then we're going in with the Revlon blow dry brush on my hair. I love this blow dry because, as I always say, it makes the process of blow drying my hair so much easier. Another product that I really want to try out actually is the Rev air blow dryer like I want to try that product out so much. I feel like it's such a healthier way to blow dry your hair here with that little revier machine because it looks like it's like low manipulation, blow drying, which is so cool. But at some points I did have to re-wet my hair. If my hair was too dry, I don't like to blow dry my hair when it's in that state. I like for my hair to be somewhat damp, and then this is at the end after I finish blow drying all of my sections. This is what my hair is looking like, I'm just making sure to get like the front and like the back, the nape of my neck, and then I parted my hair down the middle. So I could put it into like these little twists so that my hair can be like ready for my hair appointment where I'm going to get my hair braided up for under my wig. I used to do my own braids for under my wigs, but my braids would never come out like great I'm, not the best braider at all and of course, it's just harder to breed on yourself and now that I have long nails. It is just really hard for me to get like nice flat, braids, so anyways. I always get somebody else to do it now. So today I went to Sam K hair and she gave me some braids for under my wig. She did such a amazing job. Honestly, I think these are the best braids, like the neatest braids I've ever gotten for under my wig, and she was very, very quick with it as well, which I really did appreciate what I normally do after taking my braids out and washing my hair is that I would straighten my hair and just let my hair breathe for a week or two um, but this time I really did not have time to deal with my hair and let my hair breathe, because I had a weak sponsorship that I had to do. And I just didn't work with my timeline and whenever I get braids done, I always just leave it in for like a month to two months, which is the best for me for hair growth. You guys know, I always talk about low maintenance, hairstyles and I just put a wig cap on top of my braids and literally forget about my braids. Braids are done we're back home now, and this is what we're looking like we're gon na go ahead and start with this wig and stall. So the first thing that I'm going to do is clean my forehead with some witch hazel. I had some makeup on as well, but even if I don't have makeup, it's so important to clean your forehead and then I'm going in with some Edge booster, just to Slick my edges back in preparation for this wig cap and then I'll be cutting holes out. For my ears and then we're gon na go in with the glue process, so I'm just gon na apply some bold hold active. This is actually the first time I'm using this bold hold, active and wow. I don't know why I wasn't using this sooner like this. Is crazy? I highly recommend this glue. It literally has kept my wig on so well, and I know because I'm editing this video, like a couple days after I installed this wig and I'm literally like here sweating and my wig is not shifting at all, like I'm. Actually so disappointed in myself that I didn't pick this wig glue up sooner, but anyways we're doing the usual process. So I applied glue on the perimeter of my wig cap right in front of my edges, make sure to not get any glow on your edges and then we're cutting the excess sweet cap off and I'm also going to be applying some cream foundation on the inside Of this lace, normally with HD lace, I don't put any cream foundation on the lace, but since we are dealing with transparent lace today, I will go in and place some cream foundation on the inside of the lace. The next step is to cut the air tabs off of the wig and then we're going to go in with some more of that bold hold active all around the wig cap and I went in with a couple layers of this. So I think I went with like four layers. I didn't film every single layer because it's repetitive, but I definitely went in with like three to four, maybe even more layers, because when I say don't count it, I just keep applying and whenever I feel like it's enough, I'm like okay, so this wig is from Mega Look hair. I am obsessed with these highlights. Let'S get into the highlights, okay, I know we're still installing the wig, but let's take a moment to appreciate how well these highlights are made, because that's actually very rare for Wig Company to have well-made pre-highlighted wigs. So I am obsessed with these highlights. I think they look really really good and thank you to Mega look for sponsoring today's video and providing me with this unit, because I honestly have been obsessed with this wig for the last couple of days. So after I cut the excess lace off, I just I'm going in with any parts that are not yet glued down and I'm applying a little bit of more glue, as you guys can see. That side is like not really glued down, so I'm just applying a little bit more glue, so that part can glue down, and this is what the wig looks like when the lace is completely glued on. It was looking really good. Honestly, I was a bit nervous with this wig since I haven't dealt with transparent lace in such a long time, but it really didn't look that bad. So now I'm parting out the hairs for the baby hairs and then I'm going in with my ebb and spray on the lace and right in front of the baby hairs before I go in with my elastic band. So that will just make sure that everything is like laid down flat if there's any piece of the lace, that's not completely glued down. That will take care of it, the oven spray and then I'm cutting my baby hairs down short and using my half inch flat iron to curl my baby hairs. Lately, I've been using the got to be the Black Bottle to swoop my edges, and I apply literally just a tad bit at the root of the baby hair like the top, and I just swoop it into the baby hair. If that makes sense, you don't want to get too much on the ends, or else I feel like it just looks very like stuck together and I don't know I still want my years to look like natural, not necessarily fluffy, but I just don't want them to Look crusty crusty is the word I'm looking for, so I go in with a little bit of mousse as well, and just to make sure that everything looks good and honestly, I love the way my baby hair is turned out for this install I've mentioned that I'm Trying to get better at doing my baby hairs, and I was really happy with how it came out here and then, since I decided to do a side part, I'm just parting out hair on the side of the part, to really make sure that that is really Nice and flat, that's one way to make sure that your hair is really really flat, is to actually go in and part the hair, so that you like hot comb, every piece of hair. If that makes sense, and then I did trim the ends, I always always trim the ends on every single unit that I receive like it's imperative to do this. It just makes your wig look a million times better, because all the wigs that come in they always have like thinner ends. So I highly recommend to do this for literally all of your weights. It'S very easy just cut straight, and then I knew that I was curling my hair, so I wanted to create, I guess, face framing layers, I'm not a hair stylist. So I just do the layers in the front. I don't do layers like all throughout the hair. Just because that's all I know what to do or how to do it, but it still ends up working out usually and then I'm curling, my hair, using my T3 curling iron. This is the 1.25 inch T3 curling iron. I get a lot of questions on it and I love this curling iron so much. It makes the curling process really really easy and I should have clipped up all of my hair. But I just clipped up the pieces in the front like the face framing portions and what ended up happening is like the rest of the hair um, the rest of the curls just ended up falling really quickly. So if you do want to recreate this heart, this hairstyle, I do recommend that you pin up all of the curls and that would make this hairstyle look a little bit better and just make the curls last longer and then, when the curls are done, I went In with my pink hairspray to spray all of the hair before taking the curls out just to help bit hold a little bit better, and then I comb the hair out using my fingers honestly, I loved the way this hairstyle turned out. I was obsessed I just once again wish that I clipped the bottom curl so that everything looked uniform and the curls didn't fall as fast as they did, but other than that, I'm obsessed with this hairstyle. We went from my old wig. We washed my hair and did all that process, and this is where we ended up. Thank you guys so much for watching this video. I really do appreciate it, especially if you guys got until the end of this video. Thank you to megalook for sponsoring today's video. If you guys liked it, please like comment and subscribe and I'll see you guys in the next one foreign
