Half Up Half Down Quickweave

Omg she always think that she's a i'm that no counterfeit when i walk through better sleep, i'm so pretty hair and makeup done by lilly, not so thick, but your not a city, chick okay, so we're jumping straight in today, as you guys can see. I already have one braid braided down and i'm going to continue to braid down the back. Today'S style will be doing a half a half down quick weave style. So i'm just going ahead and starting with doing my braids for the back half for the quick weave area do now that i'm done with the braids i'm going to take my black hat and i like to sew down the black cap around the perimeter of the Braided area - i do this with all quick weaves in the beginning, in my beginner days of doing hair, when i would just use glue the hair down right on top of the cap or even just using morning, glory somehow it would still fall off. So just for safety precautions and measures i'll go ahead and sew down my cap, and then i just cut the excess off and then i'll be moving to the top. Half of this look so for the top half of the hair. I'M just going to take my time and really press this hair out really silky and smooth. My flat iron is on 400 degrees and i'm just making sure i take my time and take one pass of each section with the flat iron and just making sure that i have those roots. Really nice and straight as i possibly can get them with my hot comb as well foreign. So here i'm just parting off some parting off hair. So i can do her some edge, swoops or baby hairs and then i'll be taking my pump it up and just spraying that throughout the hair just so it can easily easily be moldable, moldable and manageable, while i'm trying to form the ponytail. So i'm going to loosely place the hair into a ponytail just for the time. Well, i thought i was i'm going to take a little bit of edge control and rub it into my hands and place that in between the hair and as well as a little bit on the edges in the front. And then i'm going to place the hair into like just like a loose ponytail for like in the placement that i want to be in i'm going to take some pump. It uh i'm cleaning up my baby hair parts first and then i'm going to take some pump it up and spray it on the hair and take my toothbrush and my blow dryer, and i'm just going to solidify that hair right there in place, making sure that It'S smooth making sure that it's super duper dry and all the way up there, and i'm just going to repeat this all over the front half of the hair until i have a nice and neat ponytail and once i'm done with the ponytail i'll be back. My me now that i have the ponytail i'm going to take my time and braid the tail of the ponytail and wrap it up into a bun. And then i'm going to take what some people call morning glory or liquid cap and i'm going to place. That and brush that all over the black stocking cap. Just so that it gives me an extra layer of protection from the glue. And then i will place her under the dryer for about 30 minutes to allow the cap and everything to dry properly. Once she is out of the dryer, it now is time to start gluing the tracks. If you guys haven't taken note already, i have not left any leave out for her hair. If you notice how the ponytail is, the bun is positioned. The top of her head is positioned directly over that part, so that way, when her ponytail is actually on, when once the hair is actually wrapped around the bun, the ponytail flows over any tracks that will be showing and the way i glued the tracks was that I glued them very, very close together. She didn't want to stick and i curved each the curve that curved the end of each track. Just so it kind of flows in her face and it will cover up the next one that goes on top and previously and so forth. So that is how i did that and yeah. So just go ahead and watch me glue these tracks on and i'll be back. Oh so all the tracks are glued down in the back, and this is just what they are hitting on. You feel me so now we're going to move on to actually gluing the hair onto for the ponytail. Now i want to say - and i am going to say this is like my signature - look whenever i do a personal uh ponytail on myself. Personally, i always make sure i have like a really high wrap around base, so it gives me this barbie effect, so that is what i'm doing with my client here today. I'M wrapped, as you guys previously seen, i wrapped her hair into a bun, and what i like to do is take a black stocking cap and wrap that around and then i take my time and go from the top to the base of the bun. And i am wrapping the tracks going downward this way. The wrapping method going downwards to make sure ensures you that the cap and everything is covering up all the hair. It'S going to give you maximum thickness. If you do want a thick ponytail and it's going to give you that high base, because you're just going to wrap it up that point, it's going to give you the cutest fall that you've ever seen of like you're. The in the ponytail. Excuse me, but this is just really cute. This is my method. This is what i like to do. Um i have, i didn't, learn it from anyone. I kind of just thought about it. One day in my head. I probably someone has done it before me, but you know i don't know. All i can say is i got this method for myself and it is full proof and i really do love it using it. So that's what i'm going to do, i'm going to wrap her hair all the way down the base. Now that all the hair is wrapped around the bun and at the base, i'm going to begin doing the wrap around method for the cute little base part. I don't know really what to call it, but i'm going to go off the wrap around part, and this part was pretty tedious and it took a second just because of the bun. So that is the warning that i would give you guys when you are doing this method. You do have to do the wraparound method going up. You know until it actually like, sits and lays right on the hair, but other than that is this. I'M telling you it's foolproof um, all i'm doing is taking my pump it up taking the slither from the back, take my pump it up and drenching that slither to it combing it flat and uh. You know pretty wide and i'm just wrapping around the base to secure it. I'M taking my hot comb and just frying it really smooth and that's all you need to do. There'S no bobby pins needed or anything like that, and i probably did this about four good times until i got the desired. Look that i wanted to get from the ponytail: okay, okay, okay! So now i'm um just putting a little bit of mousse onto her hair. Just so, it can hold that little body wave that it does have, because she is gon na come in two days uh two days after this, which is on her actual birthday to get her hair, actually curled and stuff like that and get her makeup done by Me so just for the meantime, i just went ahead and put a little bit of mousse on there, and now you guys are about to see the sleigh that we have done today. Okay, so let's zoom in and let me just show you what we know like so cute super neat - oh my goodness um, i'm probably gon na in here in a second spray, a little bit of some a little bit more pump it up on there just to Seal the whole deal and then i'll spray a little bit of my pink shining spray, um, just actually just spray a little bit, my pink shiny spray.
