Half Up Half Down Quick Weave | Aar Extentions

Hey y'all occasion today, I'm gon na be using this or extensions here. She sent me two bundles of 18. I'M gon na be doing it. Half-Up half-down these bundles are pretty thick to be 18 inches. So yeah, I'm just gon na go ahead and get started. I'M gon na be parting, her hair from ear to ear across the top, and then I'm going to be pinning that off the top part off to be her top ponytail or bun or whatever, and then the back part I'm going to be doing kind of. Like a Halfmoon shape as her leave out at this point, I'm going to be parting out her hair so that I can start her braid pattern. Although I am gluing in the tracks, I do like to braid the hair first. I do not like to mow down here. I don't do that for my quick weaves or anything like this, so I'm just gon na be braiding her hair in a beehive shape. I normally don't braid like this, unless I'm doing like a half-up half-down style, because I don't like beehives for, like so hens and stuff, but this is a glue in and it's just a back portion, I'm just going to be doing the Beehive method. So I'm just gon na go ahead and put a stocking cap over that and I'm just gon na sew the stocking cap on all the way around the braid pattern. So right now, I'm just gon na be cutting off the excess cap that was left over, make sure not to cut their real hair, be very careful. But after I cut the excess off, I'm just gon na go here, get the bundle and start to glue the tracks on. So I'm going to be gluing the tracks on it kind of like a smile shape, so I'm curving them the reason that I'm doing this is because, when I did the Halfmoon shape leave out. If you don't curve your tracks, you'll be able to see the tracks on the side. I didn't want to leave out a whole bunch of leave out. That'S why I left out the middle section, but you'll see how I lay her hair over the tracks. A little closer towards the end after I finished gluing on all the tracks, just make sure it's a curve those tracks. So at this point you can see how it is and how the hair is gon na cover over the track. So I'm gon na gon na start with her ponytail sorry it was a change in lighting and stuff like that, but yeah, I'm just gon na starts licking her ponytail up. I'M using, I believe, Hicks edge control. If it's not Hicks, I'm sorry I didn't show, but if it's not Hicks, it might be 24-hour inch Tamara, I'm not really sure which one I was using at this moment, but I think it was Hicks. So I'm just gon na be slicking up her ponytail using a comb you can use a brush or whatever you like, but I'm gon na make it pretty high. So it's not really gon na sit directly like oh in the park, if that makes sense. So at this point, I'm using a ponytail holder to tie off her ponytail and then I braided it sorry y'all. It was a lot that went on between that time span, but I braided the ponytail and then I put two more ponytail holders on top, because I want that ponytail to have some height to it, and the extra ponytail holders give it some stability to be able To sit up and not really lean to the side too much at the base, so what I'm going to be doing is bobby pin in the end of that ponytail I mean that that bundle, because I did one bundle in the back so bobby, pin in the End of this bundle to the ponytail and wrapping up the length of her braid until I get to the base. Now, if you wanted to do more hair in the back, your ponytail will be a little thinner or, if you like, wanting to do. You know two bundles in the back and one bundle in the front. That would be fine as well. For the sake of this video, we just used two bundles, but if you wanted to use more, you could so like. I said we're just gon na be wrapping that ponytail up the length of the braid until we get to the base and then once we get to the base, I'm going to use a small string from the end of the bundle to wrap around and secure in Place and then I'm gon na be grabbing a kind of thick piece to cover up the base of the ponytail and you're gon na see this here, I'm sorry about the lighting. I thought it was a little brighter than this. I thought you will be able to see it better, but apparently not sorry about that. Take note that when you're wrapping around it would be a good thing to have your clients a hold their here up, but also make sure that it is very smooth and you spritz and flat iron, or something to secure that piece down. I like to use the flat iron and just twist it around with the base just because it makes the spritz hard so now that I'm done with the ponytail in the back. Obviously, I'm just gon na go ahead and style it. I did use the long curler and go ahead and Wan curl it. I curled the back and the front, even though it's body waves, I still curled it because obviously the wave was really loose, but I did really really like the hair. She did an awesome job with this hair and it curls so good and it held the curl really good. That'S what I really like about it. The curls came out so cute.
