Satori, Oh I'm gon na show you guys how to part your wigs to make them look a little bit more natural. I'Ve got a lot of requests asking how I do my part, so I'm not gon na be tweezing, I'm actually just going to be using one of these, which is just not a nice scent at one of your local beauty, supply stores. I'M gon na use this to do it I'll do another video on maybe another wig on how you can tweeze or to not out your your wigs, so we're gon na go ahead and get started. I'M gon na take this off and if you have one of these little heads just use one of these to help you structure. So you put your wig on make sure that the hairs go in the direction you want it to go. I would advise that you always squeeze your part before you cut your lace. If you cut your lace and you don't know what you're doing you'll cut your lace too far up and then you'll have to tweeze around where you're gon na part your legs down. So I'm just going to use this now be careful, because these are sharp. You don't want to cut too far through your lace, so I'm just going to go back and forth right where the part is I'm pushing towards this side. So that way is actually trimming. The hair off just make sure you take your time and then you'll see the hair that you're pulling out it's just a little out of time, so you'll just keep going through here all the way down just follow your part, all the way down. They'Ll follow it. My part ends about here, so I'm gon na. Do this all the way back. It takes a little while, because you got ta, take your time so that you don't cut your lace every once in a while, just go through and pull out the hair that you've already cut off. So you can see how deep your parts going. So I'm just gon na continue to do this and then I'll be back to show you guys the ending results, alright, everybody. So I have done I'm done parting, my lace off. If you can see right here, there's a little bitty hole where I cut a little too deep. I can show you how to fix that. It'S not that big of a deal! I'Ve already pinned the hair back. So it's ready for the lace to be cut off when you cut your lace, take it off of the head so that you can follow the hairline now, depending on, if you're, going to keep your wig on and off every day or if you're gon na actually Glue and tape your wig down will depend on how low you need to cut your lace. If you're going to glue and tape, you want to keep at least this much lace on the wig. So you'll put your scissors there and then you'll put a finger there. That'S how much lace you need to keep on the wig in order to glue and tape the wig down me personally, I wear my wig on and off every day might switch it up or a different wig. So I don't leave that much lace on. I start at the ear area and I just cut and when I cut, I follow the hairline be sure not to cut the hair, if so, you'll start losing the hairline and it'll start. Looking really bad try to keep a very, very straight cut so that your lace is not jagged and that's how that will go. So this is how much lace if you can see this is how much lace is on there. It'S just a little. So I'm gon na go ahead and cut all the rest of the lace off and then I'll be back with you guys. I'Ve cut my lace off. I'M completely done make sure you get down here where your ear place is going to be. If you start to wear the wig and the ear area starts to irritate your ears, take a fingernail file and file the lace so that it's not so sharp and it doesn't irritate your ears. So now we're going to put the wig on and I'm going to show you how to conceal and blend your lace wig, so I'm just putting the wig on starting from the back then Fricks the front. Now, if your wig is too big on, you find yourself, some bobby pins and you'll bobby pin the wig down we're going to take all these clips out. So, as you can see, this is where my parting is so. This is what your parting looks like now, compared to it look like before now we're gon na put a little concealer here so that it does look like it's your Scout a little bit, so I'm just gon na brush the wig out to make sure it's positioned Correctly and get all the hair out that you from tweezing your part there's a lot of hair that you are gon na miss so make sure you brush all that hair out now, because you used a blade to do your part a little bit of here. It'S gon na be a little raggedy looking. You can use a little bit of aloe vera gel just put a little bit in your hand, not too much and use it to lay all those hairs down that got cut off. So you don't eat too much and then just use a comb and lay all the hairs down that way. The wave will lay more flat to your head there. Now, if you bought and you're not comfortable concealed in and doing all that this is an absolutely way to wear your wig you're, fine, just wearing it like this me personally, I like to put a little concealer when you're looking for concealers to use to conceal your Part try to get something, that's as close to your skin tone as possible. This is what I'll be using. This is from la girl. I think this is. This is GC 98:8, which is dark cocoa? You can get this from any local beauty supply store. I think this was like $ 2.99, so I'll be taking right, where my part is just a little bit of my hair and matching it where the part is coming out at not too much just enough to blend the concealer I usually put on with the brush. I'Ve got this brush from just probably Walmart. I don't really know where I got it from to be honest, I'll, just take a little bit on the brush, not too much, because this is a liquid one. Your best bet, if you haven't done this before, is to use a powder concealer. This is a liquid concealer um, a liquid one. It'S harder to get out of the wig than a powder. Concealer is so I'm just going to take this and I'm just gon na go along the part, not too much, not too deep and I'm just gon na take it all the way down to where I parted my actual hair, and you just match it along. So it's not too much and then just use your fingers to kind of Pat it in there. So it's not wet looking and you don't really need too much. You can just take a little bit of that aloe vera gel and just blend your little edges right on over same thing for the other side and then just dial your wick. This is your finished product. Like I said, if you don't want to conceal, you, don't have to conceal your part area. I like to conceal the part just because it kind of to me gives it a more of a natural look. Elise Princess: You're a rockstar! Thanks for this tutorial. I'm off to try these tips.

Summer Breeze: Thanks so much. the blade technique is much easier than plucking for me. I watched your tutorial as I was widening my part although I trim both sides of the parting space towards the opposite side as I was shaving the parting space. I didn't cut a lot on each side, hope that was ok to do, or to remain on one side only? My wig looks SO much better and MUCH more realistic. Thanks! This really helped me along with using the right color concealers to make the part look more realistic..

I want to create a space where the wig is parted but since it's not lace front it's just hair parted I want the part to look like my scalp color

Jai l.smith: you have beautiful skin. Thanks for taking off the wig, some videos the ladies are like " I be right back with what it will look like once I pluck it"

Rosa Yanez: Any tips for when the wig has bangs? I have a wig (think old-school Katy Perry) that I really love, but the bangs are so obviously fake it's hard to pull it off (the part is almost nonexistent and anyone taller than me, which is a lot of people, notice it).
