The name of this wig is Dominica. The color is Havana Brown. This is from outre's perfect hairline collection, which features a fully hand-tied 13x6 lace front. And yes, when I saw it, I love the curls. This reminded me, the curls of this wig are a little bit looser than outre's Dominican curly. However, it's definitely reminiscent of that wig, and I was so obsessed with that wig, so I did want to try this out. First and foremost, I thought I was doing something y'all thought I was coming up with something last night when I put this wig on the mannequin head, I was like. Let me cut some short baby hairs in it and put some perm rods at the ends of it, see if I can come up with like some kinky curly baby hair, and now I really did not go through the whole entire process of dipping it and boiling Hot water and getting that on camera - I literally just put it in some hot water for like three seconds and I took it out and let it air dry overnight. So I don't even know if the curls did stick onto this wig or you know. If the synthetic fibers are going to curl up but um in the future, the next wig that I do this uh synthetic. I will probably try that and take the actual steps of putting in boiling hot water for like 10 minutes and allowing it to air dry overnight and see if I am able to get those curly edges, but we're just gon na see. You know how it came out, so this is how she is looking. Definitely super cute love. The chestnut color of her just want to cut the extra lace off of this and see. You know see what Miss Dominicana is giving us. I remember a few short years ago that, with synthetic wigs, we didn't have to cut all of the lace off because they were like they had like a lace Edge or they had like closures, and it was so easy to deal with. And this is so much like a normal uh virgin hair wig, which is good and it's bad. I know a lot of people did love the Simplicity of synthetic wigs and just cutting the lace off you didn't have to you know. Do it in a perfect way and it was way quicker, but I see why you know they are giving you the option of having it like a real virgin hair wig. All right. Let'S try her on. I don't know how I am going to style her. I don't even know what I'm working with y'all, but let's just see what we got here. What do you think of her? Do you love the curls thumbs up this video? I don't know why I want to dance with somebody. That'S the song that popped up in my head. When I, when I opened my this actually cute, I feel like if it was like a bang, it would be a really cute mushroom, but let you know, let's just see, first of all, let's take these out because they're kind of in the way, oh yeah, they Definitely didn't curl definitely didn't curl. Did this one curl barely, but I already knew that, though, because I didn't soak them in the boiling hot water like I was supposed to, but at least they are forming baby hair, so it will be easier for me to use my this is giving me a Tighter curl pattern, like the hairstyle that Keke Palmer had that was super popular. She had like a bang, y'all y'all know what I'm talking about. It was like a ginger wig. It was so pretty on her. I'M definitely going to cut this into a mushroom hairstyle when I'm finished um, so you guys can see and then I'm also going to cut it into a bob. So y'all can see a little bit shorter too, but I don't know if I want to do a middle part, a side part. Let'S try to flip over. First. Let'S see you know what, before I even style this oh, this is pretty. This is super pretty before I even style it. I think I need to just put the lace down. This is such a beautiful, beautiful curl, so pretty, let's look at The Parting space y'all we gon na do a side, part of middle part and then the mushroom. So for a side part and a middle part, I'm definitely gon na have to use some um eyeshadow to make the scalp the color of my scalp, but for right now, I'm just going to go through using my method of my makeup sponge in the adhesive spray And I'm just going to press down that adhesive using this makeup sponge onto the edge of the lace put my head scarf on it and allow it to set make sure that the wig is properly positioned. My head is pretty big. It'S on the larger side, and this wig is fitting on my head, but of course, a secret, an industry secret - maybe probably not industry secret, but if a wig does not fit your head. Y'All, like, if you put the comb in the back, secure it down into the back and it doesn't stretch all the way properly and fit your hairline take that comb out. I wish you guys can see it. Take that comb out and just pull it up so that the wig is not on your head and make sure the front is always secured first and then you can pull the the back back down, but happens to me all the time when a wig doesn't fit. My head, I literally, have to improvise all right so now the lace is actually secured. Now all I would have to do is just figure out if I want a middle part, a side part flip over half up half down the bang. What I want to do with this, let's see super pretty. I love the side flip over okay, I'm about to add some baby hairs to her to find the part a little bit and then I'll show you guys um how she's looking okay initial thoughts, initial thoughts about this wig, I love the color. I hate the hairline. I hate: hey: hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, fair line, pluck more hairs from the hairline. It will look a lot more natural. Look more so like a virgin hair wig if the hairline was definitely gradual, but, as you can see, it's thick from here on back definitely a dead giveaway. I'M not a fan of those types of hairlines and I also did not take the extra time to pluck so. This is the wig straight out of the package um I did, as you saw put some perm rods at the ends of the baby hairs in the front, and I did like a couple other baby hairs. This spiral curl, like you know it did, give me a little spiral curl and I do like that. Look of the spiral curl baby hairs on the sides, but uh, don't like the hairline. If you choose not to pluck the hairline, then I would suggest a middle part for this. I feel like it will look a lot better with a middle part if the hairline isn't plucked, because then it kind of hides the hairline, but I do like the shape of the wig. I think they did a really good job on the shape. I want to see this in a tighter curl of not so much a fan of this loose wave type of look. I need this in a tighter curl in the same color with a better hairline. I love the fullness of it. They did a really good job on the fullness, because it's so full. You are able to do so. Many different hairstyles with this and, of course it is a 13x6 construction. So you can do literally like a space bun two space, buns ponytail, two ponytails. You could do half up half down super cute. I think it's really pretty, though it's giving me birthday Vibes, even though my birthday was on December 11th, so it was kind of overdue for my birthday, but this would have been perfect for my birthday. You know super cute. Look super easy. I like I like it, though, on a scale of one to ten. I would give her an eight and a half only because I don't like the hairline, but if I style her a little bit more, which I plan to and I'll show you guys how The Styling is going to come out. I'Ll have a better idea of what I rate the wig afterwards, but so far she has way more Pros than cons so far, she's not shedding either, which I appreciate. Okay. So now I am going to do a middle part. Hopefully it hides the fact that this hairline is so bad. Oh Diana Ross, Diana Ross is coming through Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Whitney Houston, giving me all of that, and I did put this wig on a little lopsided too. As you can see, this is going down like that. Just ignore that just ignore that part, but I'm about to just add a little bit of my Foundation to the part rub my fingers through her a little bit. I love her. I love her all right.
