Hello everyone!!!

Today's video is a wig customization and install using Tinashe Hair's Kinky Straight Lace Front unit. I have a pea sized head so it's been a learning process for me when it comes to installing wigs. Over the years I have learned how to properly customize wigs so the hairline isn't on my eyebrows or my edges aren't poking out. I hope these tips were able to help you! If you have any other videos you'd like to see regarding this specific wig please comment them down below! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the video!

Hey guys me mye and today's video is going to be a tenache hair, install and just customization routine. For my wigs - and this is the duster bag that i got with the order inside they gave me a gold bonnet, which is kind of cool. I'Ve never received one of those before and they gave me wig caps, which i think is pretty standard, but these ones are really like a pale color, so i didn't use them. They also have their little pamphlet, explaining how to take care of the hair and like prizes. You can win for posting pictures in the hair um. Here came this silk scarf that you can use to lay your wig, also some 3d mink eyelashes and inside the box. That wasn't actually in the duster bag came the wig and also this i guess, like the new adjustable bra, strap type elastic bands. I'M not really a big fan of that, but you know it's cool, they included it. So here's me unwrapping the wig. It was made really well, you know your standard four clips, but i thought it was cool that they actually put that um adjustable bra, strap thingy in the wig already, because i always have trouble placing those i always just prefer using regular elastic, but it was cool. They did that for us. So let's get started, this mannequin head was actually new, so i was super excited to use it, but it was my first time ever using it and i just pinned the wig to the head and it came with the paint as well. So i'll have that link down below i got it off. Amazon here is the hairline before i've done anything to it. It is marketed as a pre-pluck unit, which is pretty sick. So if you don't want to pluck you don't have to, but i opted to pluck some more, i kind of show a few different techniques that i do and really i'm still trying to perfect what technique i think, gets the best result. But for now i kind of just go back and forth doing a bunch of different stuff, and sometimes i over pluck - and sometimes it's perfect with this wig. It actually came out like spot on so perfect. I just part out a section and a lot of people like to part like the back side of a section i like to part on both sides. So i kind of do like the back part that has the bulk of the hair and also the front part that has the part that i parted out. As you can see me doing right here, i think going back and forth like that on either side just helps to thin it out better and doesn't leave with this really thick set of baby hairs in the front, and that's kind of like me, showing you after I'Ve done a bit of plucking the difference in this video. I also kind of show you how to customize wigs for smaller heads, because my head is so tiny that i have to do so much work to customize the hairline to fit my actual head. Oh so briefly, to mention um this wig. I got it in 150 density, it was 16 inches and it is a 13 by 4 closure wig. I will have it linked down below this technique. Here i actually like it's, like you part out these like half moons, and then you pluck in those areas, and i think it helps you get like a really natural, looking hairline without worrying about kind of having like a jagged line of being bald. It helps you stagger it really well and if you're new to plucking wings, i would recommend doing that. This is kind of all the hair that i ended up plucking out that night and it was a pretty good amount and i feel, like it looked for my liking, thin enough, but not too thin. Here i am using this uh bw2 bleach. This is like a og bleach, plus the salon care 30 volume cream developer. I kind of did two scoops of the bleach and i was experimenting with how many capfuls of developer i would need, and in the end i used six. So i kind of just started off with three and then i would spin it up mix it up, try again mix it up by the end of it. I had used six capfuls of developer for two scoops of bleach, and i'm just using this. Like actual hair dyeing brush to smear it on it's my first time using it, i actually liked it. It helped for even application, i'm just putting it on nice and smooth trying to get all the knots kept it on for 15 minutes. I actually added five more minutes to that, because it wasn't bleaching too well, but i didn't show that on camera. Here is the way it gets a little wet. So i'm going to blow dry it just a bit just to dry, the inside of the cap and we're going to put the elastic band in, and i forgot that lace. I always forget that damn lays at the back of the wig, and here we pop it on we're just going to brush it out, give it a good look and see what we're working with what i like to do to start off. My installs is pull the wig all the way forward, because i have some low edges on the side, so you want to pull the wig to match the lowest part of your edges and if that means pulling the wig down to like your eyebrows, you got to Pull it all the way down, then, with the rat tail comb, you find the highest part of your hairline and you like mark it out, and then what you're going to do is basically pluck all that hair out. I kind of did it in the shape of a cupid's bow low key, but i'm just kind of push the hairline back, because a lot of times like what i used to do was um apply the hair to like the middle of my head, like where my Hairline in the middle of my head is is where i would glue the wig and then i'd have my edges out on the side and i'm like uh. How do i fix this like? I want to shave my edges off, but this is how you do it. You match the lowest part of your hairline and then remove hair to push the hairline back. If you have a super low hairline, i recommend getting a 13 by 6, closer or frontal just so. You have more space to take away so that you still have a pretty large size parting area. I always like to make sure that my wigs are at least a three head. I don't want to have a two head or one head and have my wig on my eyebrows, so make sure that you have at least three fingers for your forehead, and here i am just removing a bit more and i'm just fiddling with the wig combing it Around seeing what i want to do it, then i was like damn. I look pretty good like i was feeling myself now, i'm taking my maybelline fit me powder. I think this is in the color dark 40 and i'm just applying that to the lace just to help have it match my skin a bit better and there's that damn lace, i still haven't noticed it here, i'm cutting the ear tabs. I always end up cutting hella hair off because again, my head is so small that i end up cutting a good amount of lace off. There'S on that side, and just take your time at this part, because it is difficult for me to cut my ear tabs as well and that's a lot of hair yo that took a lot off and now i'm finally noticing the lace at the back. So i'm finally like hacking it off, because i was like i'm not taking this boot off again now you want to clean your forehead with rubbing alcohol. I have 70, but you can use you know like whatever you have and i'm blow drying it dry and i'm using ghost bun glue. I hate this stuff, but it's all i have currently and i will be investing in a better wig glue because i absolutely hate it. So if you have any recommendations down below for long lasting wig glues, let me know please. I did two layers of this on this day. I do recommend using three layers, though, because it does help it stick way better than two layers. I was just jamming out this day. I was listening to such good music having a good time and i'm just pulling the wig down and make sure that you take your time with this and actually put it on the glue, because, once you put it down like to pick it up, you're going to Make the glue kind of white and flaky i like to put my lace on in one piece. I know if you like to do pieces, but for me it never comes out good. When i do pieces there are always parts that are not glued down, and i was just dyeing a laughter here because i was literally squeezing my face so tight to be able to hold both sides like i was struggling to breathe. So i put all the lace down all in one: go blow dry it now, i'm taking a comb to comb the hair back. I always recommend that, because you don't want the hair to get stuck in the glue, because then you're gon na have like a hard time laying your baby hairs so make sure that you go back between the blow dryer and then brushing the hair back out of The way or doing them both at the same time, i gave myself a facelift by accident, a big tip when you're doing your rigs guys don't raise your eyebrows, as you put the wig on, unless you want your whole face to be two inches higher. My face was literally pulled up like that for a full day and a half like my face was jupe like suck up so now i'm taking the scarf. They gave me, and i'm just gon na, tie the hair down and lay it for a good like five to ten minutes before i cut the lace off and do my baby hairs to cut it off this time. I did that method where you kind of cut tabs just to make it easier to get around the curve of your head, and i didn't get the best footage of this guy's bending down so much. But i did use a razor to cut. I do prefer using scissors, but you do get a more jagged line, naturally with the razor. So you know try out and see what you like best. You have to just experiment with things like this: i'm taking a little bit more glue just to glue down the parts that kind of didn't get stuck or that i pulled up from cutting the lace. This hair is actually like a dream. I love this hair. The texture is so beautiful and, like it looks like my hair kinky straight hair is just like it is superior. This is my first time using a hot comb and yo. This was on 300 degrees. I didn't know i could change the degrees, so it was not hot and it wasn't doing anything but make sure your hot combs hot, because it really will like flatten out your wig like i'm using it here, and it's actually not doing anything because it was so Cold i was like: does this even work, but no, when you have it on the right degrees, it really helps out a lot. I had to put the part a little bit because for my liking it was a bit too dense. If you don't want to pluck your part, you can just add concealer. It gives you like the same. Look too and now i'm parting off some baby hairs. I did minimal baby hairs, but later on, i added more just because i feel like if you put this many baby hairs, the next time you wash your wig and put it on, you won't be able to find them they'll like disappear, so i ended up having To cut more, but for now like this day it was super cute with like the miniable, the minimal look. I always lay my wigs or my baby hairs with a lot of body. Styling foam. I love it, it's so good and it's been expensive. So i just put that on the wig - and i just use it to lay my baby hairs and i'm just showing you how i do it here. I could do an in-depth video, maybe one day of how i of like, focusing just on my baby hairs in real time. If you guys are interested in that or maybe i'll just do it anyways. This is more of a real-time clip of me doing it. I'M adding some spray because whenever you use mousse it kind of loosens the glue, because there is like alcohol and water and moisture and then i retied the hair. I came back like three hours later. I had to watch black as king and then that, like saved my life and i came back - and i was like - why didn't i buy this hair in inches because beyonce was serving us kinky straight inches and i was just like. I wish. I bought this in 26 inches anyways. That'S besides the point. I'M straightening the hair with my conair flat iron love this flat iron i'll link it down below. I think i can find it on amazon, it's really inexpensive and it's good and you can curl your hair super easy with it too. So it's like a two in one device like i totally recommend i was using it on the highest setting, i think, or maybe not. I don't remember anymore and doing the chase method with my denman brush. Oh, i just love the shine and the luster, and this hair be moving man like stiff wear. I had to bump the ends because you know i love that look. It just looks so effortless and like flirty, and it just made the hair and looks so much cuter and it has so much more movement to it. I was just like i was in love bumping. The ends of your hair takes your hair from zero to 100. You look like you did so much more work, even though it just took like maybe a minute more and then here is the final look guys. I was super happy with how it came out, and i just love this hair. So much i'm definitely going to feature it in more videos, but as always, thank you so much for making it to the end of the video. My links are down below so check out my instagram, my snapchat, and i really hope you guys enjoyed thanks for watching bye. You
